Accessories Go Digital

As more and more gamers are taking their campaigns to virtual tabletops, we’re changing the format of select products’ digital assets to individual high-resolution JPGs suitable for use on those platforms. This change will make it easy to upload every card in a deck to those platforms with no graphics work or image extraction required on your part.

Previously, card accessories did not include digital assets, but subscribers to the Pathfinder Accessories and Starfinder Accessories product lines will soon receive free digital assets with their subscription for those products. This change is retroactive back to the launches of Pathfinder Second Edition and Starfinder, with products releasing weekly as outlined below:

Releasing June 9th
Pathfinder Condition Card Deck
Starfinder Condition Cards

Pathfinder Condition Card Deck, Releasing June 9th

Releasing June 16th
Pathfinder Critical Hit Deck
Pathfinder Bestiary Battle Cards
Starfinder Critical Hit Deck

Releasing June 23rd
Pathfinder Critical Fumble Deck
Starfinder Critical Fumble Deck
Starfinder Rules Reference Cards Deck

Releasing June 30th
Pathfinder Weapons & Armor Deck
Starfinder Deck of Many Worlds

Starfinder Deck of Many Worlds, Releasing June 30th

The Pathfinder Spell Cards are not part of the Pathfinder Accessories Ongoing Subscription and previously did not have digital components, but will be available for individual purchase when they release on June 24. Pathfinder Accessories subscribers who preorder Pathfinder Spell Cards on or before Monday June 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time will receive the free digital asset when their physical copy ships.

Pathfinder Spell Cards: Primal

We’re hard at work making other changes to our products to support virtual tabletops and will announce more on that front soon.

The Deck of Many Worlds in particular has some really beautiful art. I look forward to seeing digital copies!

Nice!! Will definitely be picking up a few of these, and will also be reconsidering the subscription.

Could we get a digital hero point coin or token created too? It will help those that created their own hero points for their vtts.

This mentions that you'll get them for free if you have a subscription. What about if we just want to pick up the digital versions of decks but we don't have an Accessories subscription?

I've been providing digital tools for Gamers for a long time!

I think the release dates listed are when the PDF's become available for purchase. Some/Many of these products are already physically released

I read it as the dates listed are when they're going live for people who have already subscribed, not the dates when they're going to be available for purchase. A clarification on this would be great.

Spell Cards aren't part of any subscription line. So, no, even if you had been subscribed to the Accessories line from the beginning, Spell Cards wouldn't be included.

Yes indeed, this would have been much better if my sub hadn't already authorized. I planned on getting these locally instead of having them shipped across the Atlantic, but with a digital copy now added, I'll order them here, but it would have been great if this could have been combined with my current subscription

We mean that the digital assets should go on sale the same day they are added to subscriber's accounts.

Nice! I always wanted this. Are any older cards going to go digital? (I'd purchase a digital version of the Deluxe Harrow Deck if it were available.)

Only Pathfinder Second Edition and Starfinder products are going digital at this time. Still, the Harrow Deck might get Mark Moreland's attention.

So I had the accessories subscription and dropped it. Will I still get digital versions for the items I did get when I was subscribed?

If you received a deck as part of your subscription, you should receive the digital asset for it.

Awesome stuff. Hopefully you move into releasing maps that are properly aligned for VTTs, would save me a ton of time.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yes, in all caps! Now, I hope your teams can expand to break out the pawns, maps (battlemap, flip mat, tiles, and adventure path flavor overland maps) to standard image formats as well. Doing that would have me consider start buying them!

THANK YOU again for using a standard format, rather than tying them to a particular virtual tabletop service. (Any chance of revising to .PNG rather than .JPG?)
