Jim, sent you a dm here with link to a screen shot.

It's not that the words used were super offensive. It is that they were used to demean a member of our community.

Responded to Tech saying '..oooh, sparky.'

the response would have been fine if they'd left the personal dig out, but they didn't. So it isn't.

So Steve, what you are telling me, is that we have just as much coordination in this project now as we ever have before, and while I feel your pain for the Aussie shipping quandry?

Do we really believe ND set aside any funds to ship anything anywhere?

Just because they say they are shipping to the US, doesn't mean those shipments will leave their offices. Remember all those pictures of packages ready to completely fulfill wave 1 that never shipped? More likely they will say they shipped them with no tracking, take the stock and hawk it at the next convention they go to and use those funds to try to fix previous kickstarters by directly depositing them into their own bank accounts and then be confused why none of the kick starters ever finished.

This is the amount of hope I have. As a US backer I am contemplating ordering Zo just to see what happens.

Holy Crap! Technarken they responded about transferring pledges on the kickstarter comments. Took a screen grab of it. You may be able to transfer if you find someone to buy it off of you. Case by Case basis.

edit to add:
After they directly insulted you calling you names. Jebus, they must really want the disdain of our community at this point.

Not sure an email has gone out yet, I didn't receive one either. I emailed support after identifying the shipping cost and had my shipment sent out.

So, when is this supposed to ship? I have my subscription of Pathfinder Battles, but do I have to do something to order this? I don't want to order it, then I automatically get a second order. As much as I would love the minis, my wallet would spontaneously combust.

On the subscription shipping page Sara Marie gave instructions on how to determine if you want to get the sub shipped to you. Shipping costs went through the roof for some customers so they were looking for a way to inform customers.

To determine what your shipping is add the item to your cart and get to the shipping page to see what it is. DO NOT COMPLETE CHECK OUT. If you are willing to pay that shipping then email customer support with the subject Battles Subscription Shipment and let them know you want to have it shipped. DO NOT COMPLETE CHECK OUT.

They are holding shipment until they can inform everyone via email probably next week what the situation is.

I'm glad I circled back on this. I had some interaction with Game On Table Top back in July when this Archon deal was announced and they indicated that late backers (I'll never do that again) would receive some indication that their pledges were also being handled. Is anyone on here a late backer and unable to communicate on the KS page? Have you heard from Archon, Ninja or GOTT about managing your late pledge? I'm moving next year, and changing my address would be great. As of right now, my pledge manager on GOTT is marked "closed" -- ooo, it brings back all the bad feels when I look at that manager page.

Closed on GOT doesn't mean completed. Just means the pledge manager is locked. I haven't had a GOT project deliver yet, but I've only backed 2.

I did manage to get my address changed through GOT customer service though a while back.

Late pledging is ok, but any pledging is always a risk. Just sucks when we are told by a company we trust to have faith in a company my instincts said I should pass on. Wishing I'd just waited for WizKids but at this point this project soured me to Starfinder and I think it would have been a good time. I would take a refund, but that isn't an option. So now I just come back every now and then to watch the people who are upset constantly be attacked for being upset by people who didn't even back the project instead of getting what I really want.

An update. In my feels I've written this off as a loss. As a customer I won't let it go and will come back from time to time to remind people that there are real people behind the numbers and where I could have sunk just as much money into Starfinder as I do into Pathfinder it is now a loss of revenue because of a failed project.

If the Kingmaker remake isn't an absolute success I think it will be hard for me to buy anything with Paizo's name that isn't already at retail moving forward.

Came in to see if there was any updates on the Paizo side. Not really? Appreciate you guys reaching out.

As for the people who jump to the defense I am learning to ignore them. They alienate people who have legitimate questions and gripes and distract from the topic without actually providing information. Technarken has legitimate questions that get overshadowed. Pledge Transfers?

Good luck on selling your pledge, I don't know of a single company that will take on the responsibility if you were to scam or someone scams you and you are fully out what you pledged for. I've pledged alot of campaigns and have never seen any company officially offer the transfer of pledges/accounts.

Also did not get an Auth email. Can't wait to get my hands on the battles case, but also wonder how long it will take to sort out the shipping situation.

Also wondering what the costs for shipping will be and if they are authorizing 2 separate orders does that mean 2 shipments?

Just spoke with Paizo Customer support, they are going to try to nudge Game on Tabletop. Appreciate anything you guys can do. Just noting it here for record at this point.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber; Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber

Hi,

I have a ticket in with Game on Tabletop, they said on Thursday that they would have the issue resolved, but it hasn't been resolved yet. Hoping they are working on it, but wanted to post here too.

Sent an email to Paizo Customer service too on Thursday, did not see a response yet, hope it got through.

Wednesday night I went in to verify my address and order was correct. When I hit Save after verifying the status I got an email updating my pledge and it showed it was empty. I logged back into Game on Tabletop and the pledge had disappeared from my account screen. I went to the Kingmaker page and hit view my order and it showed a credit of over 200$ and nothing ordered. The pledge level I had is no longer available. 100$ for both books in a slip case, and then I added a ton of add ons adding up to 216.50

When I click to view my order it shows this credit. I can spend this credit but it would cost an additional 25 bucks because the original pledge level I got during the campaign is no longer available to me. Going to also call Paizo support now... hope this clears up as I want the hero coins and other exclusives I ordered from this campaign.

Thank you for your time

So, waaaaay back when LOWG was first listed for pre-order, I reserved my copy. There wasn't a subscription option, as far as I can remember. If I subscribe now and choose LOWG as my first issue to get the free PDF, will I end up with a 2nd physical copy since I pre-ordered it? Or, can we hand-wave sending me another copy (and charging me again) but grant me the PDF since LOWG is currently out of stock anyway?

Thanks!

Robert

BTW, it may be worth considering granting PDFs for pre-orders. Or at least offering them at a discount like when I picked up my pre-ordered Core Rulebook and Bestiary at Gencon.

You are going to want to start your own thread to make sure it is visible and answered by the CM's

But the answer is if you hit start with LOWG then you will get both the physical and the pdf regardless of previous orders. If you CALL their customer service line and explain what you are wanting then you may get a different answer as they can work magic behind the scenes. But I doubt it for this. Personally I would start with LOWG and just pass the extra copy to a friend or sell it. The PDF is about 5 bucks less to buy stand alone and for me that 5 bucks is worth a second copy I could pass off to another player.

Wound up subbing Lastwall. Just too many good minis and am thoroughly happy I did.

That being said, am I the only one seeing you can only start a new sub with Lastwall right now?

Glitch in the system? Doesn't affect me, I have my sub in queue, but I don't see LA as an option to start here now. Know I did when I subbed though.

That would make more sense. Huge really doesn't seem big enough for Ancient red and blues.

Was just going based off of what is in my bestiary, and as Seventh Seal said they evidently erratta'd that for the red for sure.

If that is the case, then the outstanding is probably that the listing for Xulgath Plague is likely Zombie Plague and a missing eagle. If all it is missing is an eagle then this is a beyond expectations for what they are delivering.

I noted that there is Horse (2) that can be subbed in for the specific horses listed.

Decided to match up pawns to monsters in the bestiary. Other than the obvious Gargantuans not being in the pawn box I found these not listed:

Missing:
Ancient Blue Dragon H
Ancient Red Dragon H
Eagle S
War Horse L (2 Generic Horses listed could be used for these or others)
War Pony M
Zombie Plague M May be wrongly listed as Xulgath Plague?

When will we be able to get the case incentive with the case? I still can't get that option to come up.

It normally is automatically included, until you opt out afaik...

If that is so, I cannot opt out either. I add the case to my shopping cart, and nothing else happens. For previous cases, I would be prompted that I can buy a case incentive for each case in my shopping cart.

Or are they requiring a subscription to get the case incentive now? They did not do that in the past.

When I signed up for my subscription it asked me if I wanted to include case incentives and I checked yes.

If you are asking about ordering them without a subscription, I may be wrong but I don't think that is possible until after they unlock it for purchase after all subscriptions go out on paizo.com but other websites have them for individual purchase on launch date and pre order, possibly cheaper than paying full price.

As for adding to cart when buying a case without a sub, I think that should be there and you may want to contact support for clarification if that is your goal. Interested in knowing what shakes out of this.

I know it was kind of beat to death on the first page of this thread, and obviously we're all free to make whatever changes, but the whole 1 mile to the castle thing is a little silly, even if it makes tunneling more "viable" and travel easier on the party. 1 mile is a 20 minute walk. It takes about the same time to walk to the citadel from the town as it does to walk from Paizo HQ to Mac & Jack's Brewery. In Cleveland, from Tower City to the Cleveland State University. In Indianapolis, from the Lucas Oil Stadium parking lot to where you picked up your badge for GenCon (give or take a twisting line). 10 miles is a 4 hour walk including some breaks, I think splitting the difference to make it 5 is fine. It's not a walk through wilderness, overgrown as it may have become over a few decades, there had to have been a road from the town to the castle. This is a problem with every published adventure, though, I think. No one writing ever seems to realize how short a walk a mile is.

Yeah, my favorite creative response which solves this is to describe it this way

From the city you can see the Citadel a mile away as the crow flies. But while travelling up the hill the path winds up steeply and may even go circular around the hill taking about 10 miles as the cart moves, or however long of a distance we want. This also solves for the

Travel Spoiler:
underground passage, as that would only be a mile and becomes a very useful tool for adventurers instead of having to travel 10 miles along the path and makes the citadel that much more defensible

Vic, any plan to produce pack with Ap variant monster/ new monsters /NPC?

I think those would be usefull while running AP as much for stats reference as for showing NPC to the player.

If it is feasible, think expansion pack, or booster packs. I like the idea of a booster pack being available at the same time, or just after, an AP gets shipped for subscriptions!

I'd pay 5 bucks for a booster pack of 5-10 card for each AP Module release. I know they eventually make it in to bestiaries, but not all do and some take a long time. Could add in the NPC's with stat blocks too.

Love this idea! +1

4x6, playing card thickness... all that is missing is that they aren't in my hands yet.... man this is a welcomed addition.

These will be a success, so my next question is: Will we have to wait for a Bestiary 2/3/4 release or are there plans to get the Adventure Path/Standalone Adventure monsters out before new Bestiaries?

I feel like AP/Adv decks have a golden opportunity to get NPC stat blocks in our hands with art too :D

We're not going to not use the opportunity making a new edition of the game presents us in revisiting some of the core concept designs of creatures or other elements that we wish we'd done differently years ago. That said, the goal is always to make revised designs more interesting than their predecessors, so I hope folks want to use the new versions in both art and at the table, as they should be cooler if we're doing it right. Obviously tastes vary widely across the player base (and internally within Paizo's creative staff, for that matter) so YMMV, but improving the game is always the goal, not just making changes for change's sake.

Yup, there's a balance. As someone who owns a ton of miniatures, most of them either Paizo Battles or Reaper, I like what you guys are doing with the updated models. So long as new creatures are coming in the sets too.

My issue with sets has always been too many generic npc characters. I like that you have moved them to Rare status instead of common and it feels like you bumped up the number of creatures :D

90/129 Large
16/48 HUGE
4/31 GARGANTUAN

225/410 minis produced as Pathfinder Battles miniatures.

That's almost 55%.

If i include D&D and Icons of the Realms there are minis for 307/410 creatures, roughly 75%.

I think we will eventually see all tiny, small, medium, large and huge minis as part of the Pathfinder Battles line.

Out of the 27 missing GARGANTUAN creatures, in my opinion only 3 have the potential to sell reasonably well as a miniature:

-Baomal
-Tarn Linnorm
-Sea Serpent

There are however toys in the exact right size (4 x 4 inches or larger) for:

-Megaprimatus
-Brontosaurus
-Tyrannosaurus
-Kraken
-Phoenix
-Sea Serpent
-Megalodon
-Goliath Spider

There is also a gargantuan Silver Dragon in the Icons of the Realms line.

Still, i guess some gargantuan creatures will never get made or being presented by a close enough proxy if you don't custom-build them.

Would love to see that list, been working on something similar but I don't think I've found as many matches as you have :P I am floating right around 200 matches, but still working on it.

There are flip tiles that will fill the need for alot of it, but not custom for Age of Ashes.

If you buy the PDF version of the AP Module you get a pdf set that you can print out but not sure the scale or the quality. I haven't printed it yet. I think the Secret Doors though are static on the drawings so that is a downside for me but I can edit it in a image editor.

Captain Morgan wrote:

Dang, I want all of these. How are these things sold? Is it one complete set you buy or is it a booster pack model that you need to keep snagging things for?

And what should I expect them to cost?

Boosters are blind boxes, broken out of a brick/case. Bricks are broken from a Case. In a Case you are pretty much guaranteed to get at least 1 of each of the items. This is why there are subscriptions that cost quite a bit less, even get the case incentive at a discount.

Normal Case is 399 from Paizo. Subscription cuts 30% of that cost down to about 280. Case incentives are 75% off for each case you get with your subscription. So you sub to 1 case and get 1 incentive (Goblin Village) at 75% off. MSRP on the village is 100$ so 25 bucks

Subscriptions wind up being right around the 300$ mark for a Sub and Incentive. Gets you the whole set, multiple copies of commons and uncommons and typically at least 1 of each rare, sometimes more.

I just went to make a subscription and the cost appears to be wrong, looks like the discount is applying to the MSRP and I posted in a couple of spots hoping to get it fixed before I subscribe!
