Decided to go with Villar even though the race will hurt my chances. He just calls to me. I'll let you know when he is done.
gold: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 2) = 7x10=70 so I can take the average of 140.

*Edit 1*
On second thought I think I may just stick with the 70 for now. He isn't supposed to be wealthy or have much money so it makes more sense that way.

*Edit 2*
There, that should have him complete. If there is anything I missed please do let me know.

Sorry, just rolling Gamplin's starting gold. Used to the PFS set starting amount, so I forgot to roll it during character creation.
Starting Gold: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
So, 40 is less than the 70 average, so guess we're starting with 70. Let the shopping begin!

GM, I’d like to submit my Evangelist Cleric of Shelyn. She was accepted into a prior WotC game that literally made it two weeks before the GM disappeared. The AP seemed awesome, though! Everything necessary should be in the character alias.

I’d be happy to move some things around to help a group, if accepted. Thanks for the consideration.

Sovereign Court

Sorry for your loss, GM. Real life always takes precedence, we will still be here when you're ready.

Condolences on your loss Mike. Despite voting for the AP I've opted not to pitch for this recruitment as I've somewhat of a full card now RL is inching back to normality.

I'll keep an eye out for your potential KM recruitment down the line tho'...

Once again thoughts to you and for your best bud.

Here is the background for Kinjal.

Backstory:
Kinjal comes from a fairly long line of merchants from Casmaron. Her grandfather was one of the few people from there that managed to gain nobility. Yet even as child, he was far from accustomed to that life. As the only child due to her mother dying at a young age, she was set to marry into a new family. Kinjal had difficulty relating to many of her peers who felt no need to help the poor. She was sent to a local church of Abadar, yet his teachings only cemented her views that wealth accumulated from a country should be used to help others to have wealth as well.

It wasn't long after she officially became a cleric that she was beset with tragic news, her father was killed by a couple of drunken soldiers who mistook him for a Qadari spy. Filled with distraught, she grew distant and closed her building to all but her halfling servent who has been around ever since her father was young. Over the years, she turned her palace into a minor clinic, using the wealth her family has accumulated to buy potions. She kept tabs with the noble life, but did not attend any meetings. It wasn't long before her rank was forgotten.

It was only a recent meeting that sparked her interest in the crown. While at a tavern, she met with an energetic woman with brown hair. Together, they spent hours conversing, dancing and overall enjoying the other's company. It was only after they left the building that the woman revealed herself to be none other than Princess Eutropia herself. Kinjal immediately bowed down in penance for not recognizing her, but the princess replied that was her intention. She wanted to survey the city of Oppara to meet the people without any bias from her ranking. Kinjal grew a fondness for the woman's teachings and wished for the best.

It was after that time that she found out that Eutropia plans to allow women to rule the land. She had already made plans to enter the ball, but was met with someone else. Martella Lotheed arrived to state how she made a good impression with the princess and has offered to invite her to help steer the vote. It was an opportunity she couldn't possibly pass up. Who knows, maybe things will change for the better for Taldor after all...

Personailty:
Kinjal is a person who treats company different depending on who she meets. If anyone is kind towards others and makes a genuine effort to help the country, she responds in kind with joy. But with those who are cruel to others or those who simply seek to take advantage of others, she isn't as welcoming. She has also grown to avoid combat whenever possible by choice, preferring to use spells to restrain and heal instead.

Role:
As a cleric, she will focus on healing, buffing, debuffing and controlling the battlefield. I don't intend for her to do damage from weapons or spells. Instead, she will use her words to dissuade combat and spells to incapacitate her foes if it comes to that.

I would like to present Juan Karthis for your consideration.

I hope these games can offer you a welcome distraction in these trying times. I wish there was more I could do. If you need someone to talk to, send me a PM and we could try to figure something out.

Arcane...

I think you put the wrong name...

Thanks! I was just going to post that, but then noticed you'd already done it. Thanks for having my back :=) We summoners have to stick together! And incidentally, our character ideas are different enough that I think they could, actually, be fairly complimentary to one another despite being technically the same class. Really excited to see who ends up in the final group. So many great options!

Incidentally, and just for the "bookkeeping," while Gramplin is technically an arcane caster, he and Lady Sinestra fill the skill role significantly with the social and rogue skills as she fills a melee role.

There's quite a lot of excellent characters already, but I'll throw mine into the pile. I've been polishing the application for the last few days and I'm quite happy with how she's turned out. Introducing Lyn Ralgar:

Lyn has a dream, and she’s had it since she was twelve. She doesn’t have natural charm and she’s terrible with music, but she has a dogged determination, is fiercely loyal to Taldor, and she’s smart enough to achieve whatever she sets her mind to: Lyn is going to become a Lion Blade!

Build notes and party role:

Lyn is an (unchained) Rogue with the Snoop archetype. She fills the skills monkey role while also being a secondary melee combatant. The aim is to take the Lion Blade prestige class down the road. It doesn’t matter too much if/when this happens, but I hope there’s room in the AP to make it work at some point. Even if she were never to meet the Lion Blades, it would still be a long-term goal that will motivate her to do well throughout the campaign. Lyn will take Underworld inspiration at level 2 to boost some more skills, and the ‘Bardic pretender’ rogue talent at level 4 in order to qualify for the Lion Blade prestige class. Before that, she might take a few levels of Brawler if it seems like the party could use the extra melee power. I’ve added a possible build progression in a spoiler at the end of the alias.

Since the AP will feature many social encounters, Lyn is capable in that department. However, I’ve left her Charisma average and she’s therefore not really optimized in the social skills. Many other characters might opt for high-Cha build and I felt like the contrast would be nice: Lyn isn’t naturally at home among nobility, but she’s going to put in the effort to make it work, regardless.

One last point I wanted to clarify is regarding her alignment: There are some references to Norgorber in Lyn’s background and I’ve pegged her as a N alignment. However, there’s no evil or malicious intent in her, at all. She’s mostly Good, with a dormant resolve to do what must be done if the circumstances require it: she’s also not naive as to what being a Lion Blade might entail. That’s why I pegged her ‘down’ to a Neutral alignment. Still, Lyn is optimistic, friendly, loyal, inquisitive and adaptable. Also, she’s highly secretive regarding her early childhood and cagey on her ambition to become a Lion Blade. It might be quite a while before it comes up, and if it ever does I’ll make sure (as a player) that it never becomes problematic.

4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 6) = 14 (Exactly average)

Sorry about that. The name was a copy paste error. I didn't study all the characters, so I might have missed something about which category to put them in.

The whole arcane\divine division is a bit wierd. Spells offer control, utility, buffs, healing and damage. One character might be able to do all of them no matter which class they are while others might only be able to do one of the things or also focus in other areas.

Skills have similar issues, especially in this campaign where some skills are so much more important than others.

For my character, he's clearly divine, but he'll be better at control than most arcane casters while probably worse than a channeling cleric at healing. I'll go into the veiled Illusionist prestige class to get even more flexibility, control and utility as it gives access to a bunch of illusion spells from the wizard list, including Shadow spells.

That's pretty much why I decided not to try and classify everyone-- some submissions are solidly in one role or another, but others are much more nebulous. And I imagine that while some people (like me) said "I want to make a character that fits role X," others might've said "I want to make a character in the hopes GM will want to fit him/her into the party somewhere."

As for arcane/divine, GM is probably thinking along the lines of "healing/buffs" vs "control/damage/everything else." There is of course a lot of overlap there, which is why the "Forge of Combat" model is popular. But that's a topic people have been arguing about on gaming forums for years, and calling this character "the arcane one," that character "the skills one," and so on is intuitive for most RPG-ers. And of course some players like characters that feel iconic and fill specific roles in a party.

Yeah, I feel the four roles are just for the ease of it. At the end of the day I believe the GM simply means he wants a balanced party and will try to cover all roles with the group he pick. Who knows, with these many applications maybe he will even decide to go for a group of five instead. Regardless, I'm very impressed with the quality of applications here - like me, it seems people are really dying to get into a truly RP-heavy AP.

The last time I was in one of such, it unfortunately died once some of the other players figured it wouldn't have as many combats as your regular PF adventure. Nothing against it (sometimes I do love me some pure dungeon crawling as well!) but this time I'm hoping for some intrigue :)

Introducing Kostiantina Mokei, an aasimar virtuous bravo paladin and follower of Iomedae.

Hailing from a corrupt and money-grabbing minor noble house, Konstiantina now seeks to effect change in Oppara even as she fights to outgrow her family's reputation and redeem its ancient name.

Details in the alias ;)

Hello! I wanted to say that I enjoyed voting and following the voting thread and even though it almost seems cruel to give you more characters to choose from at this point, I did draw up a submission for you.

Crunch and background is on the profile.

Role:

The Great Communicator

Ismene believes that most racial strife is due to fear and misunderstanding and feels confident that she can help eliminate miscommunication.
She is by no means a party face, but she has a wide range of utility. She is a Mindchemist Alchemist which means she trades Mutagens for Cognatogens. These allow her to increase one of her mental stats for a while. The Orator feat lets her substitute a Linguistics check in place of Bluff, Diplomacy and Intimidate in social interactions so she will be ready for Social Combat. She speaks several languages now and will continue to learn more. She will also likely dip Empiricist to allocate INT to other important skills.
She will also be able to save the party money, especially early game as she will be able to craft alchemical goodies and brew potions at much reduced cost.

And my most sincere condolences, GM Whiterose.

Liberty's Edge

I'm dotting in here should have a build finished by end of day tomorrow.

Liberty's Edge

Quick roll for starting gold
gold: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 average of 70 it is

Looks like I had a bout of inspiration tonight, Heres Icabus, Jokers submission backstory is in the profile

Gonna go ahead and submit Seraphim, a fetchling oracle of intrigue with the help of the Reaper of Reputation himself, and lofty ambitions.

I understand that fetchling is an uncommon race, but she has the at-will disguise self ability from the intrigue mystery, and I enjoy the idea of a political assassin hiding in the shadows, using a multitude of identities and faces.

Thanks for considering me!

Wow a lot of really great submissions! Best of luck everyone!

For sure, it is a hell kf a recruitment.

I wasn't able to get my character 100% this evening, but it looks like I have a window to finish it before the window closes. Going to start him off with simple chain and an earth breaker for most of his budget.

Upside is I can go into finer detail about outfit and looks.

Lope, is a cunning swordsman and magician poet looking to avenge his father’s wrongdoers “Hello. My name is Lope de Vega. You disgraced my family. Prepare to die.” all while helping the Taldan Empire to recover its shine.

A man of a minor noble family fallen in disgrace due to his father’s honor being tarnished by Taldan court plotters. They took refuge at Brevoy where he learned the Aldori fighting style. Now decided to recover the name of his family, and perhaps make some lady fall in love in the way, he has returned to Taldor.

A cross, and greatly inspired by, both Iñigo Montoya and Lope de Vega, el Hidalgo Poeta.

Although I believe the Magus Kensai is the best fit to build towards the concepts I want to explore with Lope, it is the story and personality what I am interested in rather than the stats. If you wish a more clear take on the role of arcane, melee or skills, I am open to quickly restat him to an Arcanist (Blade Adept), a Swashbuckler (Rostland's Bravo) or Samurai (Warrior Poet), or even a Bard/Lion Blade. His story and personality should just work equally well.

Background:

Lope is member of a Taldor minor noble family. Years ago his father, Eduardo de Vega, was a rising star at Taldor’s Court after having proved himself on defending the land against many Qadiran raids. Having his father the confidence of Grand Prince Stavian III, Lope was selected as chamber company for Europia and her brothers. When his parents would visit the palace Lope will play childhood games with the princess and princeps.

When his father stood up against Maxillar Pythareus opinion of attacking Qadira, things started to go bad for the nobleman. Eduardo de Vega was accused of not being of Taldan noble blood. He had to demonstrate that despite his father only being a rich Taldan trader, her mother (Lope’s grandmother) who came from Brevoy, was an Aldori sword whose bloodline could be traced back to Baron Sirian First, former Taldor nobleman and founder of the Aldori Order.

As Eduardo was winning the public opinion, Pythareus plotters attacked trying to ruin the reputation of Lope’s grandmother, seeking proves that Magdalena Aldori had contacts with the Great Beyond and the entire family was under its influence and plotting against Taldor. Eduardo acknowledged that her mother’s sword, which latter passed to him, was forged in the Axis but that the sword’s will was tied to recover and expand the greatness of Taldor.

Finally, when Eduardo was still on the defense, Pythareus came up with a final plan that could be definitive. With well forged documents, Pythareus demonstrated Eduardo de Vega had been deviating money from the army into the trading ventures of his family, and moving part of its wealth out of Taldor’s reach at Andoran and Absalom banks. Not finding many supporters this time, Eduardo and his family were dishonored and their properties seized, including ‘Taldstar’ the aldori sword heirloom of the family.

Dishonored and with little else left than a few loyal servants, Lope had to follow his father and mother and leave Taldor for decades. Still young, the diaspora of his family made Lope fall very ill. Without access to medicine the disease caused him terrible scars in his face but ultimately survived. It was a disrupting event that changed his family forever.

The family took refuge in the nation of Brevoy, among the Aldori swords friends of her grandmother Magdalena. Although Lope was granted a place to train among the Aldori, his father Eduardo did not want him to lose ties with his Taldan culture. He put the young boy under the mentorship of Eldon García, one of the few people that remained loyal to Eduardo and followed the family diaspora. Eldon had been professor of magic in the Kitharodian Academy and taught Lope on magic, arts and knowledge of Taldor traditions and history at the same time he was being trained by the Aldori.

Knowing what losing all and being at the edge of death meant, Lope showed from an early age an extreme discipline and a cunning mind. The boy was not easily distracted by child games and quickly mastered subjects as diverse as swordplay, magic and poetry. When his father Eduardo de Vega passed away, he promised Lope none of the accusations made against him were true, and requested that Lope would not be as naive as he was in his youth and to help Taldor recover its greatness from the shadows.

Once his mother also died, Lope decided to return to Taldor short after completing his wizardry and Aldori training. Now a man, he wanted to restore the rightful position at Taldor for his family, and recover the richness that was stolen from them. Fearing Maxillar Pythareus influence he decided to reunite with his merchant grandfather at Yanmass, far from the capital Oppara and closer to his Aldori friends. Followed by his mentor, Eldon Garcia (a former Lion Blade, but this has been kept secret from Lope), he served protecting the caravans that bolster trade in the area while helping run his grandfather’s trade business. But not all is hard work, Lope had fun and infiltrated the high class circles demonstrating his cunning tongue on something he calls magical poetry, an art that combines prestidigitation effects with rhymes.

Lady Martella Lotheed found Lope at a club in Yanmass making rhymes while trying to charm the hearts of young maidens. Interested, she started to talk with the young man and finally discovered his ascendancy as a member of the Vega family. Thinking she might profit of the young man for her intrigue network, she has invited Lope to the Exaltation Gala.

Although, reticent at first to expose himself, Lady Lotheed probed convincing and beautiful enough for Lope to decide it was the right time to relocate to Oppara and clean the name of his family.

Motivations:

Although a long time has passed since he played with Grand Prince Stavian III children, and Europia seemed a fickle girl at the time, Lope was delighted with her, and will always favor her in front of her brothers who were little more than jerks to him on their games.

His first mission is to recover the blackblade of his family which was taken by the people who set a trap to his father. The mission of this blackblade might be to see Taldor become the most prosperous country in the world, to defend the true bloodline of Taldor royalty, to recover his old glory, or maybe to make his family into the most powerful ones of Taldor. Or all ensemble.

Lope follows the opinion of his father that the Empire should focus on seeking a lasting peace with Qadira, while boosting the trade openness with Absalom and Andoran, opening sea routes with the distant Taldan nation of Amanandar in Tian Xia, and expanding the Empire territory to the north, seeking to reunite and civilize now ruined regions like Iobaria in Casmaron.

Lope enjoys bullfighting and plans to open a restaurant in Oppara with the best grilled meats of the capital.

Bonus Feat Slashing Grace (Aldori Sword)
Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A kensai is proficient in simple weapons and in a single martial or exotic melee weapon of his choice. A kensai is not proficient with armor or shields and suffers normal arcane spell failure chance when casting magus spells while armored.
Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Aldori Dueling Sword, level 1 Kensai bonus feat
Weapon focus: Aldori Dueling Sword, level 1 Kensai bonus feat
Canny Defense (Ex): At 1st level, when a kensai is wielding his chosen weapon, he gains the canny defense ability. This is identical to the duelist prestige class ability of the same name (Core Rulebook 382), save that his chosen weapon may be of any type: When wearing light or no armor and not using a shield, a duelist adds 1 point of Intelligence bonus (if any) per duelist class level as a dodge bonus to her Armor Class while wielding a melee weapon. If a duelist is caught flat-footed or otherwise denied her Dexterity bonus, she also loses this bonus.
Spells: A magus casts arcane spells drawn from the magus spell list. A magus must choose and prepare his spells ahead of time.
To learn, prepare, or cast a spell, the magus must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a magus's spell is 10 + the spell level + the magus's Intelligence modifier.
A magus can learn spells from a wizard's spellbook, just as a wizard can from a magus's spellbook. The spells learned must be on the magus spell list, as normal.
Diminished Spellcasting: A kensai may cast one fewer spell of each level than normal. If this reduces the number to 0, he may cast spells of that level only if his Intelligence allows bonus spells of that level.
Arcane Pool (Su): At 1st level, the magus gains a reservoir of mystical arcane energy that he can draw upon to fuel his powers and enhance his weapon. This arcane pool has a number of points equal to 1/2 his magus level (minimum 1) + his Intelligence modifier. The pool refreshes once per day when the magus prepares his spells.
At 1st level, a magus can expend 1 point from his arcane pool as a swift action to grant any weapon he is holding a +1 enhancement bonus for 1 minute. For every four levels beyond 1st, the weapon gains another +1 enhancement bonus, to a maximum of +5 at 17th level. These bonuses can be added to the weapon, stacking with existing weapon enhancement to a maximum of +5. Multiple uses of this ability do not stack with themselves.
At 5th level, these bonuses can be used to add any of the following weapon properties: dancing, flaming, flaming burst, frost, icy burst, keen, shock, shocking burst, speed, or vorpal. Adding these properties consumes an amount of bonus equal to the property's base price modifier (see the Magic Weapon Special Ability Descriptions). These properties are added to any the weapon already has, but duplicates do not stack. If the weapon is not magical, at least a +1 enhancement bonus must be added before any other properties can be added. These bonuses and properties are decided when the arcane pool point is spent and cannot be changed until the next time the magus uses this ability. These bonuses do not function if the weapon is wielded by anyone other than the magus.
A magus can only enhance one weapon in this way at one time. If he uses this ability again, the first use immediately ends.
Spell Combat (Ex): At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty). If he casts this spell defensively, he can decide to take an additional penalty on his attack rolls, up to his Intelligence bonus, and add the same amount as a circumstance bonus on his concentration check. If the check fails, the spell is wasted, but the attacks still take the penalty. A magus can choose to cast the spell first or make the weapon attacks first, but if he has more than one attack, he cannot cast the spell between weapon attacks.

Alright, this is Ouachitonian. I finally finished my character. Cnut is an Ulfen barbarian, who hopes to win fame and fortune (and perhaps even social advancement) in the Ulfen Guard. Do you need someone to stand between the magic types and death? He's your man. Someone to open an enemy's head with a large and very sharp piece of iron? He's your man. He's also a werebear-kin skinwalker, but he tries to keep that under wraps, for obvious reasons. These 'civilized' men from the hot south would never understand or accept his kind.

Pretty standard, martial-type, all things considered. That he's not a core race is the only weird thing, but he'll pass for human most of the time. I took the Rich Parents trait to represent the last of his family fortune from his grandfather's Ulfen Guard days. Perhaps predictably, I spent most of it on good (for 1st level) weapons and armor.

If it's not too late to submit, I decided to go with a martial character over an arcane one. As a Neutral Good cavalier with the esquire archetype, Edryd Calmiras will gain an aide-de-camp cohort at 3rd level to act as his standard bearer and assistant at court...which should lead to some interesting roleplay opportunities and an extra pair of eyes and ears in courtly intrigue situations. This archetype will also do away with the dependence on a cavalier's mount (and the accompanying "charge" class abilities), hopefully allowing the character to fit in better at the gaming table.

As a Child of Oppara, Edryd is from a minor noble house where his parents support the current regime, but his childhood interactions with Princess Eutropia and the younger generation of reformers have led him down a different political path. He's eager to return Taldor to the same sense of glory and prestige he studied during all his tutored history lessons. And his sense of adventure makes him a prime candidate for getting involved in the courtly intrigue to follow. Presumably, his future cohort will be like-minded and so will his adventuring companions. Since his second trait is Rich Parents (to give him extra funds for masterwork armor, sword, and shield), I'll forego the roll for starting wealth. That background is also reinforced with his Appraise skill, which I'm associating with the mercantile/economic role his noble house plays in Taldan politics.

Down to the wire here! Good luck everyone (but not as much luck as me, of course) :P

Oh right, forgot to update. Qiu Jin aka Junius is complete for everything except mundane equipment (weapons/armor are all filled out).

background, appearance, personality:
Born in the faraway Taldan colony of Amanandar, Qiu Jin grew up on the streets of New Oppara, where her family had lived for as long as they had known. As a child and teenager, he lived a rough but carefree life, often getting into bits of minor trouble with the local Taldan authorities - and learning quite a bit about them as a result. As Jin grew older and more mature, though, he mellowed out, taking up the family trade of blacksmithing. By the time Jin had reached the age for his mandatory military service, he was already a skilled and disciplined worker. His abilities did not go unnoticed by the commanders, who assigned him to the forges alongside his military training - first producing standard blades for the common conscripts, then, as he became more comfortable, crafting finer weapons for officers. Jin quickly picked up the skill of reading people - abilities, talents, mannerisms - helping him make adjustments customized to the blade's intended wielder, and also showed an artistic streak, adding etchings and patterns that matched the recipient as well. This caught the eye of some visiting Taldan dignitaries, who made a deal with Jin: after his military service, they would bring him to Taldor, a land he had always been curious about since his childhood, if he promised to continue his work there. Jin agreed in a heartbeat, and began making preparations, passing on his skills and craftsmanship to those around him and training his martial skill more rigorously to prepare for the dangerous journey to the other side of the world.

Upon his arrival in old Oppara, Jin, creating something of an alter-ego known as "Junius" to deal with Taldan society, set to work under the patronage of a minor noble family, the Trias, who had sent the dignitaries in Amanandar. In Taldor, his work became decorative, adorning mantlepieces and dining tables - though no less deadly if their use was called upon. Junius also quickly picked up more traditional Taldan weapons and methods, blending them with his own experience to make the blades that the Trias and many more nobles wore at their sides. However, with success and acclaim came loneliness. With so few Tian around, Jin maintained his connection to his homeland by continuing to train in the martial arts taught to him years before as he started his military service - the swordsmanship of the samurai, mixed with his own learnt tumbling in the streets as a child.

It wouldn't be long before Junius's non-blacksmithing skills would be called upon in his new home. Sensing the coming conflict around the Taldan succession, the Trias decided to support the princess, Eutropia, but were unwilling to do so publicly. Instead, they contacted Lady Martella Lotheed - an acquaintance they knew to be on the same side - and offered the service of Junius as an agent. When the Lady expressed interest, Junius accepted his new role, bound by his vow of loyalty to the Trias but also out of his own interest in the cause. Now, he prepares to embark on a mission unlike any he has faced before...

========================================================================

An average Tian man, short but relatively stocky. Jin prefers to wear simple, functional traditional clothes, which makes him stand out at times in extravagant Oppara. He's been told that he would look good in Taldan noble fashion, but always feels extremely uncomfortable whenever he tries.

Softspoken and humble, loyal and hardworking, Jin prefers to keep his head down and toil in obscurity. That's not because he's shy or afraid - he knows that being in the shadows helps his chances of success when he needs to pop out into the light, a lesson he learned the hard way on the streets of New Oppara. And when it happens, Junius takes over - not quite brash and arrogant like the Taldan nobility he's had to deal with at times, but forceful enough to stand his own in games of intrigue...or so he hopes.

Good luck to everyone. I'm just thankful I survived my own chaos to get myself presentable in time.

Good luck to everyone, and can't wait to see who makes it.

Thanks, GM Whiteroses, for setting this up, for being an incredibly strong human, and giving all of us this great excuse to theorycraft some super cool characters!

Okay, everyone. I'm going to close recruitment now. I'm going to spend the weekend going over the last few submissions and will post the new party on Sunday

Good luck everyone.

38 submissions! Tossing aside roles, that leaves each of us applicants with around a 10.5% chance of acceptance. Best of luck to all, and especially to the DM. Can't envy the task ahead of you, but excited to see who you pick.

It's an impressive level of interest, but I kind of dread the competition. I'm no dread pirate Roberts to be competing with swashbucklers and noble paladins.

It’s been Sunday for the GM for a whole 58 minutes. What’s the hold up?

Joking of course.

I just hope he finds a way to cope and that he returns to us. He hasn't posted in our game all week. Hopefully this games gets on air sooner rather than later as well. Jesting about him not posting is poor form.

It's been a couple of bad weeks between the passing of my brother from another mother and on Monday, while replacing a broken refrigerator, I managed to throw my back out (getting old is not for the weak) I, somehow, managed to survive and will kick this game off tomorrow.

But now, the moment you've been waiting for. The four finalists are:
St. John Smythe
Robert Merosett
Nico Sabinus
and
Gione Sullus

To everyone else, thank you for the time and effort of making your submissions and for making it difficult for me to narrow it down to the final four. I do hope that you and your characters will make it into a game soon.

Thank you all,
Mike.

Alas, another miss for the Empiricist. Thank you for the consideration Mike and I hope your game is amazing. If anyone decides they want to run it, I'd love a chance to play him.
