Maria:

As you slowly open the door, you hear a deep, rhythmic grunting. You feel the temperature rise slightly as the air wafts against your cheek. There, with his back against the wall of the small stone room, is a massive bugbear. Four goblin women wet their palms with their tongues and reach for him. His head instinctively raises to the ceiling as he closes his eyes and sighs with a smug smile.

Vandra listens for anything behind the loot room door, but doesn't hear anything suspicious.

I wanted to write more and go into more detail, but I was incapable due to laughing and crying at the same time.

The southern wall of this room is a bank of cells with iron doors, six in all. The rest of the room is obviously a torture chamber; a rack sits against the far wall, and iron maiden stands to the north, and a fire pit smolders below a spiky cage dangling from a chain in the ceiling to the east. The spiky cage contains a stinking mess of half cooked flesh, while the rack remains taught with the carcass of a recently dead goblin. Each torture instrument seems to be designed for creatures of human size, rather than goblin size.

There are two doors north of this room. The first one is described by Aggah to be 'dead jail keeper Brunkel'. Aggah hesitates in front of the second door. All she says is 'mother'.

Furnok opens the door to the jail keeper's lair. A dusty nest of rags, dog hides, and straw sits in the northeast corner of this room. To the south, a long workbench cluttered with pliers, hooks, tongs, keys, saws, and knives runs along the wall.

A long, narrow hallway stretches north into the darkness. Both stone walls are completely decorated with bas-reliefs of serpents with human heads, eye-less naked women with goat features, and erect giant apes with backwards saber teeth. The hallway is only large enough for 1 person to walk forward at a time.

Maria makes her way into the room, scanning for traps of any kind. Her trap senses tingle, but do not alert her to the magical enchantment.

Maria Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

From all around her, the bas-reliefs of the demons begin to glow in reds, greens, and yellows. They peel off the walls, become 3 dimensional, and reach out to grab Maria. The human head serpent extends its forked tongue, hisses, and tries to wrap around Maria. The massive ape stands in the way of her escape. The eye-less goat-woman slinks over and whispers in Maria's ear "Come, child. We'll make a woman out of you." She bites Maria's ear playfully, but draws some blood with her razor sharp teeth.

A horrendous scream erupts from the room, or perhaps from Maria herself.

Maria is panicked and must flee the room by any means necessary. After fleeing the room, Maria is frightened for 1 minute, then shaken for the remainder of the day.

Anyone other than Maria:

If you peer into the hallway, you will not see anything apart from Maria. You can notice that her ear is bleeding.

Maria runs back, screaming, terror in her eyes as the beasts attempt to catch her and mater with her in her own mind.

Cleo was distracted by the banter about the loot room, then scared crapless by the scream, not even realizing it is her friend until the young girl nearly barrels over her. The young cleric manages to come to her senses so enough to reach Erastil's bolstering light onto her.

Maria successfully escapes the hallway. The images are still fresh in her mind, but thanks to Cleo's spell, they do not strike fear into Maria.

Cleo knows that her spell will only last 10 minutes, so Maria's fear will come back, albeit significantly lessened.

Aggah stands behind Cleo, looking quizzically.

Cleo grabs Maria's hands, glad to see sanity return to her bright eyes. I'm sorry, my spell will only last a few minutes but hopefully the worst will be over by then.

"Um, what?" Vandra asked nobody in particular as Maria started running around screaming her head off. As though that amount of noise was what they needed at the moment. As Cleo's spell calmed her down for the moment and she went to try to unlock the loot room door, he asked her, "So, uh, what did you see? Were naked goblins really that terrifying?"

Maria enters the room again and immediately sees the demons waiting for her. They seem somewhat... fake, now, as if they are unable to do any harm. That being said, Maria just can't figure out how to disable this strange magical trap.

Furnok opens the loot room. What he might have expected to be coins and stuff turns out to be just scraps of metal, torn tunics and other clothes, and some broken barrels with half-rotten food. However, there is a cavern opening to the left of the room.
