We seem to have lost our GM for a run of Gallows of Madness. We've been through part 1 and are (I think) fairly near the beginning of part 2. It's been a bit over 2 months since we've heard from the GM. Anyone interested in taking over the game? We'd love to have someone who would be willing to see us through to the end of the whole mod (i.e. part 3 as well), but if not we would be very happy just to have someone help us finish this part 2. The gameplay thread is here and the discussion thread is here. Many thanks in advance! Also, we know that people may not have the bandwidth with Outpost just having started but we can work with whatever situation you have.

On account of real life going and getting in the way, I have had a player drop from my Outpost table of Tapestry's Toil..
The party are mid way through the second encounter, so there is still the opportunity to claim full rewards if an intrepid Pathfinder were to jump in.
(Aram Zey did say he'd send more competent pathfinders after them...)

The joining PC should also update the Outpost II signup spreadsheet, see link at top of page.

Realized you've got more bandwidth than you thought now that Outpost II has been going for a while? Willing to give a new GM a try? Worried about male pattern baldness?*
How about checking out my Icebound Outpost game? Tier 1-5, 3rd season, Hao Jin Tapestry scenario. If this works well, I plan to run through all the Hao Jin scenarios in order, as much as possible and would love to get some people looking to keep the same characters from one scenario to the next.

It's a STANDARD game (not core), tier 1-5, and we're currently playing at subtier 1-2. We're not quite 1/4 way finished.
If you're interested, head over to the outpost signup sheet and take your place on line 83. The link to the game is in the spreadsheet, and I want to be sure you start there if/when you join the game.
We don't direly need to fill the slot, but there is room if there is interest.

Hi Uroon, thanks for the interest! Looking at your character, did you use the PFS roleplaying guide to build your character? You can find it here:

I ask because looking at your character I see pretty high ability scores (PFS uses a 20pt buy). Also your hit points look low (first level takes max value of the hit die). Based on those two observations, it seems like you might have *rolled* the character?
Do you think you could look over the guide and get the character built per PFS specs sometime this week? That seems like a reasonable time to hold the slot. Feel free to ask me many questions in PM, and I can help you with this build! If you're willing then I won't leave you alone to it and can help!

Hello Era! Have you been able to find a game to play in? If not, what are you looking for? Is there anything else we can do to help?
Been starving for a game for a while (several years). Been wanting to play a soulknife, setting isn't quite as important.
Seeing the alternate leveling rules and taking a soulknife as secondary class features by sacrificing feats (without taking mutliclassing penalties) seems the most promising.
Back in 2013 was the last time i played here (or via PbP) which was a bit too exhausting for long term play.

they had just finished book 1, and will be starting book two, this is a complete run through not just society legal sections
in the current party is the following

Welcome to PbP! First thing is to get your stat blocks up on your character profiles. Hero Lab has a handy export feature for that if you use that program. Then, just hang out here and wait for a game to open up and throw your hat into the ring. There is a PbP con going on right now that will finish in May. I expect a bunch of GMs to open a lot of games up then but there are still games posted on this forum all the time. Good Luck!

I'm looking for a replacement player (level 2-4) to join an Emerald Spire campaign that is currently underway. One player hasn't posted in almost a month so I'm looking for someone who would like to join the group. We are almost finished with the first room of Level 3 (Splinterden) and the intention of the group is to hopefully go through the entire Spire.
For those unfamiliar with the Emerald Spire, it is a massive dungeon crawl (16 levels, the group has completed the first two levels). Each level awards 3 xp so by the end of the entire thing a character will be about level 14 (some levels have to be slow tracked to prevent going out of tier).
The PC who has gone missing was the group's main martial character, so a front-liner would probably be helpful. The rest of the group consists of: a Witch 3, a Bard 3, and an Oracle 2/Paladin 1. (The Emerald Spire was written for groups of 4 PCs, so that's what we've been going for, though if there is sufficient interest we could add two PCs).
If you are interested, please post in the discussion thread here. The ideal PC will be a frontliner who is potentially interested in playing through the entire Spire, but I think the group is flexible.
Lastly, I should note that, although I'm trying to incorporate some of the RP elements from the Fort Inevitable portions of the mod, the Spire is ultimately a dungeon crawl first and foremost, with comparatively less role play than some other adventures (though that doesn't mean there's *none.*) Also, the pace of the game, so far at least, has been pretty relaxed, though I'm hoping that we will pick it up now.
Alright folks, recruiting for Reign of Winter. The group just finished up book 1 before Outpost II, but I put the game on hold cause of Outpost II. More than half the games I'm playing are 3/4 of the way through and I suspect many other games are close to done.
We are on book 2. I originally had the rules set up so that you don't find treasure, that you just gain it as you level up with the exception of magic items. I have found this takes away from the storyline, so all treasure will be found. I want to give the game a campaign feel, not something else.
Creation rules. Create the character as if you were playing PFS, make him level 8 and give him level 9 gold. I won't be tracking XP till book 3 though, as level 8 is what you are at the end of book 2, not beginning, so you'll be Level 8 throughout book 2. In book 3, you will level up with actual XP. I'm not telling the players to delevel themselves. Again, I'm slowly but surely trying to get more and more of a campaign fell, and less of a video game, movie, book, or DVD where you skipped several chapters.
Is the emerald spire game classic with PFS characters? I have played levels 1, 2, and 4. An unfortunate spread. I'd love to clean that up with a level 3 play. What character levels are allowed for spire level 3?
