This is my first game, so I'm still perfecting my style, but it should be pretty close to what you've seen in most Flaxseed games.

We can wait a couple days. I haven't heard back from the person I'm holding a place for, either so we can wait for him and for you to make up your new character.

So I made the character, he just needs to be converted from paper to online format (that will happen tomorrow) but I am ready to start whenever everyone else is.
That being said, I was wondering if anyone would want to help me build up the backstory of this guy (mostly one area I want input in but will take it anywhere, especially since we will be traveling for awhile together).
He is what I got so far (pardon any typos, it is past midnight my time and I should't be typing this late haha). Itham is a bit older than your typical Pathfinder adventurer. He is born of elven parents who never knew the elf nation (I don't know how to spell that right now) and he lost his mother awhile ago. Up until recently, he has lived in a town/village in (this is where I need help). His father owned a small but well off magic and book store that Itham spent his life thus far learning about and prepping to take over someday. Itham showed a knack for magic item use and even some magic himself but never explored that side of himself much. He mostly focused on learning everything he could to make him a better shop owner, though the business end never interested him much. It as the stories and magic and helping people get the right item for their need that interested him...
That is his life until recently. His town was attacked by (relevant enemy to the location that I pick for his town). A group of pathfinder society members were there to combat the evil. During the attack, Itham lost everything but seeing the Society members inspired him to go do something more with his life. He has recently arrived in Absalom with his underdeveloped magic and desire to start the next stage of his life... as an adventurer!
With that idea in mind, I am not sure what location on Glorian (SP?) fits best with that story that would be at least mostly cannonlgical and would love any advice on location plus enemy type.

The only thing I can think of is something in the River Kingdoms or Varisia. Maybe Molthune.
