Is anyone currently looking to play Parts II or III of Scions of the Sky Key?
I'm still looking to get a chronicle for Part III, and I'm willing to GM it if there are takers.

Derek, if you get a legal table together I am happy to GM part III for you.

@grimdog. That would be awesome if the GM is OK with it!

Yeah Xmas eve here!
Have a nice time all - hot day, thankfully a thunderstorm has come through to cool off!
Silly Australians - America may be backward, but at least it isn't upside-down!

Actually, I think you will find that from the southern frame of reference, it is North America that is upside-down ;-)
Consider carefully the implications of what you just said....methinks thou dost protest too much. ^_^

Just clicked over midnight here, so Merry Christmas everyone.
Off to check the Santa Trap and then get to bed before the kids wake up.

Not at all - it only doesn't make sense if you subscribe to the notion that 'North' is inherently more worthy of being considered 'up' than South is ;-)

On a tangential side note, during my little holiday stretch zipping across the south pacific for a few days to New Caledonia, I took the opportunity for a little light reading of a for Pathfinder books.
Pirates Promise
Pirates Honour
Forge of Ashes
Liars Blade
All were pretty decent, and the Pirates pair were quite a rollicking little tale. Forge of Ashes and Liars Blade were also quite ok, but both of them felt a little rushed - as though they could have made better books with another hundred or so pages to play with.

Merry Chrismas, all! Thanks for the recommendations on the Pirate books, Shifty!

Happy Holidays, my friends. Enjoy your time with family, spoiling your children with gifts, and eating way too much food!

Grandmaster TOZ |

If anyone is not involved with family celebrations, I have a spot open in a 7-11 tonight via Roll20.

Have you been watching my place this morning? No wonder you are called GM Evil!

Here's hoping....

Happy New Year to all of the Flaxseed lodge.
With the new year, I am considering starting a campaign on PBP, for PFS credit, and looking for recommendations on which to run. It will be my first campaign I have ever run.

Shifty |

I'm going to un-helpfully urge you to think about either a chain of scenarios (any of the trilogy/quadrilogy) a module, or if you are feeling brave a long mod (ie Dragons demand or that Pirate one whos name escapes me) as AP's are serious business and have a poor track record on PbP...
:)
Of course if you feel like you have it in hand then charge in - just hand pick your players carefully and get ones known for longevity and posting rate.

I am very interested in this once you start looking for players. I was in one AP that flamed out pretty quickly last year and have been searching for another campaign to join ever since.

Any one in particular that you would like to play? I am open to options..

Thank you for the words of caution and advice.

Campaigns do have terrible track records. That being said, with the right group, they can last. My skull and shackles group has been going strong for almost three years now.
Color me interested. I'm game for pretty much anything except dragons demand.
