Thorst is right about the mongrelman not dying.

The mongrelman hisses as he is hit by Thorst, but he continues on. Then suddenly he seems to almost be in a daze as Valkyrie casts her spell, but through great effort he resists.

Nau, Mongrelmen, Anevia, Horgus, Avarshinal, Thorst, Halara, Valkyrie

As you heard the mongrelmen coming Nau threw up some light so that everybody could see. Then the mongrels were upon you and one of them cunningly bashed Thorst with his club while the other seemed to get ready Anevia pulled out her bow and got an arrow ready while Horgus did nothing. Avarshinal seemed confused as to what he should be doing so he just waited. Thorst then responded to the mongrelman's dirty attack with one of his own. His blade almost cut the mongrelman down, but he barley remained standing. Halara waited on what to do, and Valkyrie tried to daze the mongrelman attacking Throst. Unfortunately the mongrelman seems strong willed as he resists the spell.

Nau will bless Thorst with a Protection against Evil.


Current Map

After Nau's blessing Thorst finds that the attacks of the mongrelmen seem less effective than before. Nonetheless the mongrelman continues with his attack while the other seems to be waiting for something.

The mongrelman who attacks seems to find his attack not only diverted by Nau's spell, but by Thorst's natural speed as well. Anevia seems angry that she cannot help out and only watch in rage as someone attacks her companion. Avarshinal and Horgus cannot seem to do anything right now.

If the magus agrees and steps back while Halara moves forward, she will use her spear to attack the first enemy, but she is too careful not to hit Thorst and misses.

Throst swings his weapon at the mongrelman, but he barely misses slaying the creature on the spot. Valkyrie and Halara switch places with Halara trying to attack and Valkyrie attempting to cast daze once again. Halara's swing also barley misses the mongrelman.

Will save vs. DC 14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

The mongrelman can't seem to fight off this second magical attack and he just stands there blankly.

Nau cast protection from evil on Thorst and the mongrelman attacking Thorst just couldn't seem to get a shot in. Anevia still held her arrow ready while Horgus and Avarshinal just stood there. Thorst attempted to end the mongrelman but missed. Then Halara and Valkyrie switched places and Halara went for a swing with her weapon while Valkyrie tried to make her daze hit. Halara's swing went wide, but Valkyrie's spell affected the mongrelman this time.

Halara's strike goes through and takes down the mongrelman, but as he falls the other one steps up and strikes at Thorst.

Actually you can't daze at target you have already dazed for a minute, and she hasn't successfully dazed this mongrelman yet.

Thorst's swing blazes through the mongrelman's defense but he is still standing barley. The mongrelman also resist Valkyrie's spell with an effort of will.

Nau waited for the moment to strike while the mongrelman continued his fruitless assault on Thorst. Anevia, Horgus, and Avarshinal were unable to do anything, but Halara's blow took out the first mongrelman. The second stepped up only to miss and get hit by Thorst. Valkyrie attempted to daze the new combatant, but he was able to resist her.

Its Horgus's turn, which i expect wil be nothin, then the lizards.. You havent killed the mongrelman yet Thorst, so Nau cant move past it to attack the lizardman.. Lets try to keep init order so we dont run into this.. With Thorst staring at the mongrelman in the door i dont beilieve you can reach anything to attack this round Nau so its Halara's turn..

As the mongrelman opened the door you all attacked with Halara missing and Valkyrie hitting the creature. Thorst then moved up and killed it while the second mongrelman moved up. Nau tried to get through, but to no avail and then Thorst killed the second one. The lizard then attacked Thorst and latched onto him.

Current Map

Halara is able to score a devastating blow against the lizard who stubbornly holds onto Thorst. Then Valkyrie moves up, but she barley misses the lizard having her cestus glance off the creatures scales. Anevia is unable to get a shot in and Thorst is able to free himself from the lizard's grasp, and resist the lizard's posion. Then with a finished spell Avashinal has a small elemental next to him made out of earth.

Nau's fists misses the lizard, and then the lizard strikes out at Thorst again since it cannot reach its tormentor just yet.

damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 DC 14 fort save as well.
grapple attempt: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

The lizard hits Thorst and grabs onto him once again. Trying to eat as much of the Half-Orc's arm as it can.

With the lizard holding onto Thorst, Halara rushed forward and struck the creature on the back. Valkyrie tried to hit the lizard as well but she missed just glancing off the scales. Avarshinal brought an earth elemental into the fray. Then Thorst with a mighty effort threw the lizard off of him, and Nau moved up to strike. Nau's fist missed, and the lizard once again grabbed a hold of Thorst's arm.
