"I shall be fine. My eyes no longer pain me as they once did, but I shall seek out healing after this demon problem has been dealt with."

"I know this isn't much, but you helped me get out of that hole and you saved some of those librarians, so the least I can do is bring you some goods that were still hidden. I checked the location of a nearby Riftwarden cache and some items were still there."

Aravashnial reveals several items to offer assistance.

eight potions of cure serious wounds
four potions of lesser restoration
10 +1 evil outsider bane arrows
a chime of opening
a masterwork cold iron longsword
a wand of magic missiles (CL 5th, 31 charges)
a wand of daylight (24 charges).

"The main entrance should be fine."

Aravashnial doesn't seem to be paying much attention. He just walks forward without caring.

"Survivors hopefully. "

The elf seems very distracted by his greif and almost doesn't answer you.

"Well are we there yet? Let me tell you that with the Librarium on our side we will have nothing to worry about. This city is as good as saved. I mean the Librarium is one of the most beautiful places in Kenabres not only for its gardens, but also for its knowledge."

Aravashinal even while blinded seems very confident in his words.

"I would concur with Horgus. His place is closer."

"I am fine as I was when we started traveling."

Avarshinal looks up at having his name mentioned.

"I could do that if you needed me to. Is the creature here?"

Note the creature lives up ahead, and is not actually here. I just have to have this guy constantly ask questions due to the lack of sight, and his own curiosity.

Avarshinal shakes his head.

"The spell would allow one of us to get across but they wouldn't be able to carry anybody across."

Avarshinal sighs.

"Okay I will stop speaking of them like this for now, but they just seem so interesting."

Avarshinal seems confused.

"Upset? I might be a little miffed that I lost my eyes, but now I get to examine the mole people in depth! This will allow me to research into an area that few before me can claim to have tread. I will learn how these people have survived down here for centuries. Science will learn the answer to many of its questions today! I'm not upset I'm ecstatic!"

Avarshinal suddenly nods his head as if putting something together.

"Ah, the mole people! I have heard of these people before. I wish I could see them with my own eyes. I have heard that all of them are born with an assortment of different creatures failing to fully develop in one way! Is this true?"

Avarshinal looks around for an answer to his question.

Avarshanel shakes his head.

"I don't worry about starting fires, so I have nothing prepared that would assist with that."

Avarshenal allows himself to be taken to a seat in the temple.

As you hear shouting from an unfamiliar voice from inside the temple Aravashinal seems surprised.

"Well it seems like this place isn't abandoned after all."

Aravashnial is also glad to be with you fellows, and pats the nearest one of you on the back.

"I'm a wizard of middling power, and I can help with the arcane if needed. I have several spells prepared, but without my sight I won't be any good in placing them. If one of you wouldn't mind directing me I will help. I have prepared heroism, magic circle against evil, summon monster III, acid arrow, levitate, resist energy, summon monster II, mage armor, shield, sleep, summon monster I, true strike, acid splash, arcane mark, detect magic, flare. I will use them as you see fit."

The elven man smiles softy at the orc's 'manners'. He finishes ripping off some cloth from his robe, and places it over his eyes.

"Well I have unfortunately had the chance to experience having my eyes burned in their sockets by a balor's whip. I will require one of you fellows to be my 'eyes' so that I might continue on. I am Aravashnial."

The elf stands up, and uses his quaterstaff to keep himself steady.
