Ophelia Iestelle Glinathir |

Ophelia opts to wait outside until someone gives the all clear. Her perception/recon skills have always been left much to be desired. The elf recalls the one time she thought she lost her spellbook and spent hours searching the city for it, only to find that she had been carrying under her arm the whole time.

GM Void Dragon |

Red bricks represent the walls of the house. The bars represent doors and the wood represents flooring. The small white squares represent windows. Where there is a box square that is where there is enough clutter to form difficult terrain.

Halara |

Ok, thanks.
Halara moves in, trying to protect Anevia by drawing Attacks from the creature. She tries to move through the eagle's square, ending up at the end of the hallway.
Acrobatics if necessary: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (3) - 3 = 0

Harlod McSavrock |

Went ahead and placed myself by the window I stated I was peering in.
Hearing the cry of pain, Harlod shoots out the window, stepping through into the house.
Window Shot: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 221d8 ⇒ 7

Ophelia Iestelle Glinathir |

Despite her initial hesitance to go inside, Ophelia's good nature eventually wins out after the elf hears Anevia scream in pain. Without missing a beat, Ophelia quickly heads in through the door.
No idea if the Hawk is dead, so...
Upon seeing the creature trying to hurt the injured woman, Ophelia wastes no time in throwing a blog of acid at it.
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 1 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 1 + 2 - 4 = 13
Acid Splash Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

GM Void Dragon |

Neverost's arrow will kill it, but you can have a readied action to fire that acid splash so it could hit this new foe.
The hawk that was there dies from the arrow that Neversot fired. It disappears in a puff of smoke. Anevia breaths a sigh of relief, but before she can do much more than put her bow away and pull out her sword another hawk appears and strikes at her.
Bite: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
The hawk is unfortunately unable to hit Anevia now that she has her sword out.
Round 2
AC 14, touch 13, flat-footed 12

Hawk 2: 3 damage

Thorst Worten |

Haha that map is confusing me a bit too. Since when are walls 5ft thick lol
Round 1
Thorst runs into the house when he hears the signs of struggle and the bird. When it disappears in a puff he assumes that someone else is sending these birds to attack them so he runs upstairs.
Round 2
Attack whatever is upstairs if there is something/someone

Nerevost Limuna |

Nerevost will pull two more shots at the new hawk.

Val attempts to chop twice at the new threat.. Seeing the other go up in smoke she realizes these are summoned creatures.. "There's a summoner around here somewhere.."
Conc: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 vs DC 15

Crit: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

GM Void Dragon |

Neversot's two arrows slay the bird and this one also disappears in a puff of smoke.
Valkyrie you may change your actions based on the fact that the bird will be dead.
Thorst rushes upstairs, but he doesn't see anything there.

Valkyrie Stormseeker |

Val will move to search the rooms below.. The summoner must have line of sight to place the birds so it must be close.. She'll cast detect magic as well...
Perc: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Halara |

Arg! I wanted to move there! Cure you Halara! Foiling my action-movie entrance with your action movie combat stumble!
Hey, don't hate the player, hate the game!
Since Harlod is healing Anevia, Halara moves outside to protect Avarshinial and Natasha (yes, Horgus is out of her intentions). She keeps watch while the others search the place.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
GM Void Dragon |

@Val: where are you detecting magic?
None can seem to hear or see anything out of the ordinary. In fact you all remember that the birds seemed to appear out of nowhere with no sound before their arrival.

Nerevost Limuna |

Nerevost is just holding a readied action to shoot at the next hostile target to appear.

GM Void Dragon |

A successful casting of Summon Game Master!
From Harold and Opelhia I will need to know the direction that you are casting detect magic in.
You cannot detect any magic in this room.
Anevia thanks Harold for his healing and also readies her rapier in case something appears. Avarshinal begins muttering a summoning spell. The room remains quiet for this round.
Round 3
Enemy; Party; NPC's

Valkyrie Stormseeker |

"Well if all they can do is summon whimpy eagles than they are of no worry to us anyhow.. Anevia were you looking for anything particular here or should we head to the a!%*$%@s place?"

Ophelia Iestelle Glinathir |

Reasoning that the odds of an invisible entity standing right in front of her are low (one of her companions did just travel upstairs without any problem), Ophelia aims her Detect Magic at the door to her northwest, opening it if possible.

Harlod McSavrock |

Lacking the map (gogo mobile devices) i am detecting magic away from the window by which I enetered the house by. If i detected magic in that direction i focus down, if not i sweep upstairs.
Harlod continues sweeping the house for magic.

GM Void Dragon |

You don't detect any magic in your cone's area.
You do detect magic in your cone's area. You cannot ell in which square it is in this round but you will in the next as long as you focus on detecting for magic.
Another bird will appear next to Anevia but several people will lash out at it. One being Anevia herself.
Aneiva's attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Anevia's attack will not hit the bird.
AC 14, touch 13, flat-footed 12
I will wait on the others readied attacks before having the bird attack.

Nerevost Limuna |

Nerevost Readied shot goes off.
Shot: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Thorst Worten |

Thorst comes back in to see what the commotion is about and sees another bird trying to attack Anevia. Without even pausing to even bring his weapon up (which is rather too big to comfortably skewer a bird with anyway) he punches it.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

GM Void Dragon |

The bird remains and begins to attack Anevia again.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Talon 1: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Talon 2: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
The bite connects and draws more blood from Anevia.
Round 4
AC 14, touch 13, flat-footed 12
Enemy; Party; NPC's
You detect conjuration magic coming from the square of the bird, divination magic from Opehila's square, and illusion magic from the square right next to her.

Harlod McSavrock |

Harlod cries out, Ware Opehila! and gestures with his hand to create water in the square where he detect illusion magicks! I believe I've found our summoner!
6 gallons of water dump down into that square thinned out in a manner that would, "creating a downpour or filling many small receptacles."

Nerevost Limuna |

Nerevost takes a shot at the water dumped Square.
Shot: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Concealment Roll: 1d100 ⇒ 78
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Ophelia Iestelle Glinathir |

As the water pours down, Ophelia quickly hops back with a surprised "Eep!" While a bit fearful of nearly running into the enemy, the elf instinctively falls back on decades of training. She swiftly recalls the best way to fight an invisible foe and throws a burst of Glitterdust in the same direction.
Five foot step away from the square with the summoner and throwing Glitterdust in that area.
