Well I derped on that. Did cast defensively, and failed losing my spell. I edited my initial post. I will just hang out there and be a cool guy until I can move next round.

Halara Moves to the end of the room, leaving enough space for the ones up front. She is barely able to make it there and deliver a thrust with her spear:

Val will use a swift action to make her cestus magic.. She will then cast shield on herself using spell combat and last she will step up and take a swing at him..

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

AC is now 21 for 10 rounds


Current Map

As Thorst rushes in after receiving some help from Avarshinal he can see the monster move around, and slice Nau with it's claws. Nau recoiling back casts a spell that helps protects Valkyrie from the monster.
Halara swings her fauchard in retaliation, and connects, but she cannot see any effect from her swing. Golradir tried to cast a spell but got to caught up in avoiding claws, so he lost it.
Valkyrie moves up, and swings at the creature, but she misses due to the things lightning reflexes.

The creature hisses in delight at the half-orcs miss before turning back to the magus in front of it.

Claw 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Claw 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Claw 1 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

But her skill, and armor are too strong as one of its claws misses, and the other scraps off her armor. It then moves back towards the corner eyeing Halara evilly.

@Halara Not really, the only person out there who could help him can't move unless somebody carries her, and Horgus doesn't have a weapon, or understand magic.

Current Map

While many of the current people in the room can't seem to hit it Halara helps them all out by nearly decapitating the creature with one swing. The thing still stands, but barley. It also appears that Goldarir's arrow didn't do any damage to the creature's rotten flesh.

Just to keep things moving

Thorst takes a swing at the masked figure.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 6 - 1 = 12
Damage: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 4) + 12 = 21

But his new form just isn't helping him out, and his swing goes wide.
The creature sensing an opening shifts forward, and attacks Thorst.

One claw hits Thorst opening up a wound that he doesn't seem to feel.

Thorst only has 4 more temp hit points, but he does have to make 2 fort saves DC 12.

With the creatures strike Valkyrie steps up, and slices the creature to pieces.

Halara gets suddenly confused as for the reasons they want to do all that.
"Can we spare that much time? It's not us who need redemption, and the dwarf has clearly lost his faith. Let's just remove the body from this temple and get on our way, so we don't lose too much time. It is not useful if no one uses it everyday to pray."

See previous post. I don't know about you guys, but if I fell into a cavern and was attacked by monsters I wouldn't mind a relatively quiet place to process and let the shock wear off.


Current Map

Perception DC 15:

There is a dusty warhammer lying on the ground.
The dwarf's body has a ring, and a pouch on it that might hold something.

Detect Magic:

The entire shrine still faintly detects, but the only other thing is the pouch from the dwarf.

Nau reaches down and picks up a pouch off of the dwarf.

"It glows in my sight."

He then begins to drag the undead body out of the shrine.

Thorst waits and about a minute later he returns to his normal form. He goes over and picks up the warhammer seemingly lying forgotten and inspects it. Then he walks outside to the three waiting are. "We might rest here for a bit. I will help you inside."

Halara stops for a bit, then asks the group if anyone is wounded.
"Is anyone hurt?" If anyone is she will check the depth of the wounds.

Then she takes a quick look at the Warhammer Throst picked up to see if it's worth anything, and after she gets the ring.
Appraise: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

"And what's in that pouch, Nau?"

"I don't know. It shines with magic." The priest will toss her the bag.

Approaching the blinded wizard, Nau will inquire, ""Sir, can you make fire? We vanquished a blasphemous undead, and I thought we should burn the body, and let you rest in the temple for a bit."
