GM Void Dragon |

Nau
As you open the door you see that there are three people standing there. Golradir, and two 'people' who seem to be torn from the imagination of a insane dream.
Rest of party
Standing there you hear Lars cry of distress as he sees the new chasm.
"This shouldn't be here! How did this happen?"
Laars looks around the chasm, and points out a tunnel on the other side.
"That is where we have to go."

Halara |

How big is the chasm please?
"It doesn't look good then. We will have to wait for the others. In the meantime, let's figure a way to overcome this." Halara gets close to the chasm and looks down and up.

GM Void Dragon |

The chasm is 70 ft. wide, and 30 ft. deep, and 10 ft. across. The tunnel he pointed to is 30 ft. to the east of your tunnel.
Laars shakes his head.
"This is the only way now."

Thorst Worten |

"I'll tie a rope to my waist. You guys hold the other end in case I don't make it."
Acrobatics to Jump: 1d20 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 5 = 11

Valkyrie Stormseeker |

Val does her best to hold the rope, but without being very storng she hopes others will help..
Surely you would have taken off your armor.. And with a running start.. ALthough an 11 might make it 10'

Thorst Worten |

Thorst looks for something to help the others cross. Failing that he looks for somewhere to tie the rope so the others can all jump across without danger of falling.

GM Void Dragon |

Everybody
It has been around 4 hours since you have fallen into the hole so far.
Nau
The 'creatures' seem impressed at your work, but still seem slightly reserved.
"Your friends sent us to bring you back to go to our village and the upper world."
You are around halfway done so far.
Other members of the party
I should mention that the tunnel you need to get to is 40 ft. across from the starting tunnel on the other side, and that right in front of you is a very small ledge that you will have to shimmy across if you want to get to the tunnel. You also have the same type of ledge on your side leading to right in front of the tunnel, but there would be no room for a running start.

GM Void Dragon |

Alright anybody who made the jump now needs to make a DC 20 climb check not to fall into the chasm due to the poor footing. After if you make the first climb check you will have to make 3 more DC 15 climb checks to get to the tunnel (only 2 for Thorst)

Valkyrie Stormseeker |

Rofl.. Might as well put me in the bottom.. A climb check to transverse a narrow ledge? Seems more Acro to me..
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Wow, she cant hit nothing but is a dam skill check acer..

GM Void Dragon |

Yes, the chasm only goes down 30 ft., and then it is rubble that you can walk on/across.

Halara |

"I suppose we don't have much of an option. Oh wait, we do! Aravashnial, there's a chasm and we need to cross about 40 feet to get to where we need to go. You said you had Levitate earlier today. Do you think it may allow one of us to float and carry everyone to the other side?"
In that case we will need to wait for Nau and the others.

GM Void Dragon |

Alright, so as we wait for Nau's response how do you want to go about the crossing of this chasm.

GM Void Dragon |

well you avoided more climb checks, and you got across to the other tunnel, so I think it was a dangerous but good idea. Also you could get the rope to stretch across the distance, and then you would just be climbing across the rope.

GM Void Dragon |

Yeah after you guys decide to use the rope to help out the crippled ones then it will be no problem.
As you continue on your path it takes you around 18 minutes until it opens into a circular cavern. Laars stops you at this point.
"There is something up ahead it is a spore cougher, and it is one of the deadliest creatures we have encountered so far, but with your help we might be able to deal with it. Hopefully it will be out hunting."
The creature described is most likely a basidirond.

Valkyrie Stormseeker |

Untrained Aid: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Know Dung: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Success on both..
"It has a nasty area effect that will make you hallucinate.. Use any cold attacks as it will severaly hamper it.."

GM Void Dragon |

The tunnel opens into a circular cavern, roughly forty feet in diameter. Thick sheets of fungus grow in the cave, and several tunnels branch off. All of these save one in the north wall lead downward; the northern one leads upward. What appear to be two dead bodies lie on the ground in the middle of the cave, next to a strange heap of ropy green fungus. As you come within sight of the ropy green fungus you can hear Lars sigh in relief.
"That deals with the cougher then we can travel down the north tunnel to our village."

GM Void Dragon |

Sorry. He said that the ropey green fungus is the basidirond. Everybody who made the checks to know what the creature is can confirm this. It appears that the two men who are dead killed the creature. Also, there are multiple tunnels in this room, and the north one is the one Laars says leads to his village. It is also the only one that seems to go upwards.

Thorst Worten |

Thorst examines the bodies, seeing if there is anything of note on or near them before moving on with everyone.
Perception take 10: 10 + 5 = 15

GM Void Dragon |

You notice that each of the bodies are wearing the same clothing that you have come to associate with the crusaders of Iomedae. Each of them wears a chain shirt of fine make. These men both seem to be armed with glaives, and spiked gauntlets, but one of the glaives is broken in the basidirond's body.
You also notice that one of the men has a potion, and the other has a pouch. The one with the pouch also seems to have something clutched tightly in one of his fists.

Thorst Worten |

Thorst takes the potion and hands it to the others, "Can anyone identify this potion?" He then grabs the pouch and unclenches the mans fist to find what he is holding. "Their light armour is of very good quality. These men, may they now rest in peace have no further use for it. We will need every advantage we can to get out of here."
chain shirt is of no sue to Thorst. others can take it if they want.

GM Void Dragon |

The chain shirts are masterwork in case you want to wear one.
Thorst as you pry open his hand you see that he is holding a small amulet of a brass bull with red ruby eyes, and inside of the pouch is some gold, and a scroll of something.
You would estimate the amulet to be worth 50 GP, and there is 129 GP worth of gold in the pouch.
The amulet is an symbol of the demon lord Baphomet
The potion is a potion of Cure Light wounds.
The scroll is a scroll of cause fear.

posting from phone so yall have to bear with me today

GM Void Dragon |

Laars glances at the men and nods.
"We have seen these men like these in the tunnels before. They have allied themselves with one of the other tribes of our people, a very bad tribe."
Nau's k. Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Nau quietly whispers to each of you about what the bull amulet means. Allowing you to reveal what you wish to the others in the group.

Thorst Worten |

"Indeed this is not good news. Is the tribe or more of these men nearby or likely to get in our way going topside?
