Meatspace Gambit is out and meatspace Fantomex is still not entirely finished, so I've decided that I am 100% definitely only recruiting a single party.
Well that's discouraging.
As a sidenote, I definitely would have done gambit given the option. I love the concept of gambit. But I'm still very satisfied with Flint Marko, for the record.

But the war was on a balance, so some of the Andoran leadership sort out new ways to fight the empire. One example was Colonel Phillips, who was working with an Ustalavian Alchemist called Professor Eskine to perfect a serum that would make anyone a "super warrior". Rogers seemed perfect, and when offered the chance leaped at it.
The process was painful, but was a stunning success. Colonel Phillips and the professor started to make plans to make this process widely availiable when a Chellixian assasin killed the professor, thus losing the formula. Rogers killed the assasin but now was the only recipient of the serum. Phillips decided to use him as a symbol to rally support against the slavers, and so Captain Andoran was born. Rogers was given a shield with the eagle of andoran on it, and training to use it. After a time he gained a companion, his friend Bucky, (monk/rogue?) who fought with him throughout the fighting.
In the fighting that followed he was always at the front, inspiring his fellow warriors to feats of courage and aclaim. He fought the hellknight the red skull many times, and the villainous Baron Zemo, defeating them repeatabilly. Despite this their oragnisation Hydra grew pwerful in chellix at this time, and the skull and zemo ploted to conquer not only Andoran but all of Chellix and its rebellious dominians. Baron Zemo and the red skull had mad a base in the far north, in the lands of the mammoth lords. There they were constructing a weapon to destroy all the major cities in the conflict, on both sides and then conquer the lot with the forces of Hydra.
Captain Andoran, Bucky and an elite force called the howling company raided this base, dirupting hydra's build up and causing the red skull to flee. But Baron zemo activated the weapon, a great flying golem dragon which would rain poison on all the great cities of the world. The Captain and Bucky climbed the golem as it took off, and fought with Zemo and his elite Serpents on the golems back. Bucky slammed into several servants, bull rushing them off the golem, but falling with them. His sacrifice allowed the captain to directly engage Zemo. Zemo's sword matched Captain Andoran's shield, but after desperate minutes of fighting zemo was knocked from his perch. Cap reached the golem's head and throwing his shield, breaks the control gem on its nose. This caused the dragon to regain some of its former intelligence, and it thrashed about the sky over an icy lake. Cap fell from the dragon golem's back. As he fell he saw the creature destroy itself, and he thought, at least I stopped it. His last thoughts were of his friend as he hit the ice.
But Caps death was forstalled. The serum in his blood caused him to freeze in the ice. Sleeping, not dead. Whether through divine intervention, or chance, The Captain lived.
He was found by a shield squad only a year ago. He awakes to a different world, but a world that still needs Captain Andoran
Why do I always stumble on stuff like this when the deadline is hours away? :/
Due to the loss of Gambit, I'm going to extend recruitment 25 1/2 hours, to allow people who couldn't finish their backstories/crunch/whatever to do so. There's quite a number of people who haven't finished and the need for one more spot means I'd rather extend the deadline to make for more options to fill with it.

@gyrfalcon in the anime series, and I'm not sure about the comics Blade studied and mastered Yagu Shinkage-ryu a form a Kenjutsu. The Third Blade "Chaotic Moon" launches shadow blades at the opponent cutting them not knowing where the attacks came from. I was already doing Dervish and Soundstriker stacks and this seemed the best way to replicate the move. I only wish the ACG book was out, I know they will be doing a sword and pistol type Archetype for the swashbuckler. That would have been more fitting. Hopefully I get selected and can make a change when the book comes out in a few months. Right now I just didn't bother with guns no room really and I can't take a Gunslinger level with Swashbuckler so oh well.

Looked at my purchases, and I had enough left over for a Rod of Maximize spell.
I still have 3000 to spend on scrolls and such, but spell selection will depend on who my team is.
I have a combat feat that I spent on improved initiative, and another feat that I spent on Natural Spell. Since I don't plan to wildshape in combat, I am willing to switch either one or both of those feats for teamwork feats to better work with my team.
Adjusted Blade just a bit, wasn't happy with favoring the cestus and unarmed attacks after re reading some stuff and watching Blade Trinity. Went back to focusing on the sword.
Mastering witty combacks someone needs to.

GM, how far in depth would you like me to go into Queen's background? I got the bones of his origins with the appropriate names of places changed, but I'm not sure how much liberty with it you want us to have.
As in depth as you feel is necessary, and depending on how much you compress details and words when you type. It's inevitably going to vary by person, so just roll with what you feel is right. And you do have a measure of liberty, so go for it.

Alright, I've made my decisions. Joining meatspace player Fantomex (who will be with us shortly), the party will consist of: Daredevil, Catwoman, Black Orchid, Batgirl, Longshot, and Storm.
Picking only a few characters was not easy, as this game's been in the making for two weeks. Sorry if you didn't make the cut, especially if you've been with this from the beginning, but I could only do so much. Although, if there are some drops, I will be keeping some of you in mind as replacements. Those of you who got in, please report to the discussion thread and dot the gameplay thread for later.
Oh well, I had a lot of fun building the crunch and will probably still end up getting the fluff done since I'm pretty proud of this Green Arrow build. Keep me in mind if you need a replacement or even want an NPC player,

To be honest, considering how spiffy some of these builds turned out, I'm almost surprised that noone's leapt to run a second table.
