Yup, Kobolds.

Also, Grippli (Seriously, they're canonically from another planet. Why aren't they in the game yet? Planet of the Frogs!)

I don't think they're official pathfinder races and I'm suspecting there's some sort of legal reason, but I also miss the races from the Psionics handbooks. Half-Giants in particular. We got sexy dromites (lashunta) already, though, I guess.

Gripplis and kitsune for me!

Yay, kobolds! Smol dragon friends who are doing their best! :D

I never got to play a Cecaelia in Pathfinder, so I wouldn't mind playing one here. Though (like mermaids) the utility will be a lot less now since large bodies of water aren't so important.

I like my Naiad, they'd be interesting to see again. Though mine is I suppose still bonded to Golarian, wherever it went.

I do think that Kobolds have a definite niche in Starfinder. Being very small and excellent miners, they're naturals for asteroid exploitation (Astral Extractions probably has an entire kobold HR department). They also work cheaper than dwarves. Their knack for asymmetrical warfare also probably puts them in demand for revolutionary movements in any system (I'm looking at you, SDF in Attack of the Swarm).

And none of that even touches how at home they'd be on Triaxus in the various dragoncorps.

I think kobolds compete a bit with ysoki for a niche (small, clever with traps, have a tail, scamper around).

But with Triaxus having dragoncorps, their absence is conspicuous.

(Also, ryphorians don't seem to get much love. They got completely ignored in COM.)

Kobolds also have to contend with ikeshtis stealing a lot of their visual niche.

All the Kobolds I've met would take huge issue with comparisons to either Ysoki or Ikeshti. Kobolds are dragons....Dragons. There is no comparing them to anything except Dragons. If you can't see that, they'd happily pour some alchemist's fire down your throat to enlighten you.

Astomoi, if only so we could have more context as to what they are, what their deal is.

Not completely ignored. There is the Half-elf Half-rhyphorian alternate racial trait, and the protective fur feat could potentially apply to them too.

So only mostly ignored.

What if Kobolds took over Golarion and thats why the planet disappeared/gap happened?

Are... there indications that some races were extinct? Geniekins were added in APs, orcs were added in AA2 (I think) and so on.

Samsarans, aphorites, duskwalkers, shabti, Dreamlands cats.

And if we could inject from elsewhere, aurin, chua and mordesh from Wildstar!

Samasarans and Aphorites would be damn fine! Duskwalkers would be strange considering Eox I wonder how a race basically gifted life by Pharasma would feel about Eox.

I sorta treat it the way new Doctor Who treated the classic series after the Time War semi-reboot. Vaguely assume everything still exists somewhere, in some form, until establishing their existence or extinction is required.

(For example, running a Starfinder Society scenario has forced me to ponder whether hyenas still exist, and I decided they do, but are bred and kept pretty much exclusively as companion animals for gnolls, who themselves are subsisting as space pirates and raiders in lawless sections of Near Space.)

Wyrwood-Android relations would be interesting. Kitsune's shapeshifting would be nice. Also the Child Android subtype.

Tengu.

Maybe even ones that took the thousands of years pre-Gap to relearn how to fly. :>

Yaddithians, what with them already being from space and all.

Now that my latest subscription has arrived, I've discovered that I really want to know where Post-Gap you'll find...

Spoiler:
...the shoony! We've got the vlaka for your husky and malamute people, but now we also have pug people! Have them team up in a party and youve turned the game into a futuristic Pugmire!

Bonus points for making a Shoony Bard!

I'd like to see the Kitsune return. I played one in a tragically short-lived pathfinder campaign, and was looking forward to resurrecting the character concept in Starfinder.

Kobolds? Have we asked for Kobolds?

In seriousness I'd LOVE to see skin walkers updated for the Future (tm)!

This, but PF1 dragon kobolds, not PF2 goblin frogs.

I think this is sort of an unfortunate truth though. Even in PF1 kobolds kinda overlapped with goblins and ratfolk a bit and with one of them being the company mascot and the other being one of the flagship races of Starfinder they get a little edged out.

I'd like to see kobolds. And kitsune.

Yeah. I don't think that means it can't or shouldn't be done, but it's going to need a bit more than just slapping a stablock into an alien archive. It needs some thought about kobolds have become like in Starfinder. Perhaps a shared spread along with ships designed for dragons, with kobolds getting into all the tubes that an adult dragon doesn't fit into.

It's kinda odd that I've never heard of kobolds on Triax..

I would be so happy if they surprised us with a vast Kobold empire rivaling the vesk and the azlanti. Just, "Oh, by the way, Kobolds in the future are a Big Deal."

They are saving kobolds for a Kobold AP.

We never should have let the interplanetary trash service dump everything in one place...

Kobolds!

Kobolds are best naknak race ever. It was a crime they did not add them in the first book. Instead they added the six armed psychotic blood thirsty Kinders <he is talking about the skittermanders>or that is how my gm plays them.

Kinder is a state of mind more than anything. People who like the idea of kinders will find an excuse to play them no matter the setting, usually by twisting existing races into what are essentially reskinned kinders

Gnolls, kitsune, and kobolds. Gnolls never get any love and I’d love to play one

Of course, the Kobolds have an Empire...who do you think the Platyparians are at war with?

Once upon a time, I recommended that they bring back several Pathfinder monsters but with a Sci-Fi Twist:

Uplifted Owl Bears
Plastic Eating Monsters (Rust Monsters)
Imperial Aboliths (Who now rule over a vast empire)
Dimensional Companions (Blink dogs)
Machine Elves (Formerly Ice Elves)
Star Furies (Erinyes who now lay waste to entire planets)
Etc.

Scarab Sages

Asimar and Kitsune for me.

Owen and Alex put out several nice SF renditions of PF races: tengu, kitsune, nagaji, vishkanyas, samsarans, ganzi, kobolds, grippli, vanara, dhampirs, and wayang, including their own expanded takes on most of the planar scions.
