Much as I see the thread has long since devolved into silliness, (the good kind, though...) I still have a gear-grinder to add.
This doesn't piss me off, it's more of a mild annoyance and confusion.
Taking the term murderhobo seriously.
Murderhobo, to me, is a cynical commentary on how most adventurers live. They tend to be essentially homeless vagabonds who wander from town to town, solving problems with violence. That alone describes the vast majority of PCs. It's goofy commentary on the adventurer lifestyle.
Nowadays, it's practically a dirty word. And pretty much means what hack'n'slasher used to before this term took hold. And hack'n'slasher wasn't much of an insult, it was just a mildly demeaning title for a game style.

So great! :D
EDIT: to be clear and honest, I'm really, really sorry if you're kids are sick. Honestly. I've been there, and it sucks. But my infant has thrown up/spit up on me enough that it's really not a big deal and just part of their over-all nature (which, in the end, is great, even if certain elements are not). If your kids are beyond the infant age: poor kiddos! :(

Trust me, some humans are more fun when they can think coherently.

Your assumption that how you play is how "the vast majority of PCs" are played has probably already been covered earlier in this very thread.
My PCs don't fit that description, nor do I encourage/incentivize that mode of play in games I run. And given the number of times I've succeeded in published adventures by NOT acting like a violence-first vagabond tells me that the interest in non-murderhobo-style gaming is more popular than you give it credit for.
