***MURDERHOBO 4LYFE!***

Pretty much all the above. I'm really only here for FAWTL and the AP forums, I've been spending a lot less time elsewhere as of late. I guess I'm a bit biased, because I've never spent time on a fan forum for anything except Paizo, and the other forums I've always been on have had very strict limitations about politics, religion, and other such contentious subjects - they simply were not allowed, so the vitriolic arguments they inevitably spawn never happened. So Paizo looks a lot MORE hostile to me compared to every other forum I've spent much time on.

I do need to spend time this weekend catching up on PBPs though. I'm way out of the loop on those.

once you realize everyone else is wrong, you'll be a lot happier.

Also I'll be honest. When discussions drift into Isms, my eyes start to glaze over. I've stopped trying to keep track of all the Isms floating around, there seems to be a new one popping up every time I turn around.

I'm equal-opportunity apathetic. I don't care enough about everybody to make an effort.

Wait... doesn't that make you guilty of Ismism?

Handy hints for when your todo list becomes overwhelming:

Create a spreadsheet with all your different main tasks. Mine has 36 items on it, mostly because I've elided a few dozen.

Assign each task a 1–10 ranking.

Haha! There's not just a single ranking scale. Use several. I'm using six. ("how does this item affect customer service", "will this item directly impact sales", "was this item promised to anyone?", "does this item have a looming deadline?" etc.)

Give each item a 1–10 ranking for each of the six different scales. Be accurate!

For bonus points, create an application that presents two items and a ranking scale at random, allowing you to vote for which item should be ranked higher on that particular scale. This will only involve 36 factorial times six times mumble votes. Trust me: building this tool will be more fun than anything on your list. You should go do that now.

Assign each scale a scaling factor for the scale so the scores ranked on that scale can be properly compared to all the other scales for the rankings of the items for which you are attempting to scale the cliffs of and now I've lost the beginning of this sentence. Pretty sure it involved scales.

Sort the list by cumulative score.

Tada! You now know the precise relative importance of each and every item you are currently ignoring in favor of posting here.

What? No integration? No differentiation? No FFT's? No fun.
No touch screen UI? Laziness! Laziness and sloth!

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday? Not sure. I think I'm a bit delirious from lack of sleep. But that's what the good Lord made coffee for.
Thursday is always a good day. It's payday for me.
Huzzah!

Hurray!

Of course, my banks rubbish. The savings account has gone down 0.25%, they don't do cheque-books and statements are reduced (ostensibly to "save paper", but actually to save postage fees - as you print out more at the atm's). I really should change it but.....apathy.

Aberzombie and Kajehase having a nekkid fight over Matt LaBlanc.
Wait, so that wasn't just a dream?
I think the dream part is when Aberzombie, kajehase, and Matt LaBlanc are having a nekkid 80's style dance-off to see who gets to have dinner with the angelic medic. FHDM would probably be involved somehow as well. Probably wearing women's underthings on his head and ranting about how much he loves the new network that is 24/7 Joss Whedon and Alton Brown.
I'm hearing what sounds to me like jealousy. Just because Matt doesn't have the hots for any of you.....
Just remember that what happens at TotP stays TotP.
But....but...we have to share! SHARING IS CARING!!
We'll have none of that out HERE, you deviants!
That's right. Caring is bad, and the secret to happiness is apathy.

Or maybe mass media and closer interconnectedness just brings more a~!&&@* behavior to our attention now, but it's always been there.
Call me a blue-eyed, naïve optimist, but I actually think it's this. And as nasty as some of the thing happening now are, when you go back and look at what society was like in, let's say 100 years ago, we actually have less violence, are more tolerant of people's differences (be they religious, political, ethnic, or sexual). I really do hope it's just a case of the "bad kids" getting more attention than the good ones.
The bad kids are always more interesting. People are getting along and nothing is happening doesn't make for compelling headlines. :)
BREAKING NEWS! People are happy, well feed and nice to each other. No one got killed, robbed or abused today. Young man helped older lady walk past street and a fireman team only job today was taking down stray cat that got tangled in branches of a tree.
