Any idea why this game is not showing in the usual forums? Normally if I click on campaigns, it shows the list of campaigns I am a part of and posts I have made. This campaign is not showing at all and may be why the others have not dotted in. I have to click on the alias, pick Tarek and then review his posts to locate the current game.

ok, very strange. I originally followed the link to the new campaign and saw posts by Brew and Havelockk. I made a post and I thought I dotted but no campaign was showing up. After posting in the discussion and then hitting gameplay, I noticed the previous posts were gone and only saw Brew's current dotting post. Campaign is now showing up under Gameplay.

I am Gming an open board on top of this one so I was not planning on running an alt board for this Con. I wanted to run a game designed for new players to help get more people involved in the game and give back to the community a bit. There are however, some open slots for some of the specials. A full list can be found here. Mike and I did one of these at Gen Con and they were a lot of fun.

Have not seen a lot of posts here this time around.
Anyhow I posted what I think I understand how to do the double rolls for the crazy in town encounter.
IN case you are all wondering....Ae-Dee Ate /88 is the name of 'Lockk's Black Blade as part of the Magus, Blade-bound Archetype.
Its a sentient intelligent sword. Thus if 'Lockk is talking to it, it actually talks back. All though 99.9% of the conversation is telepathically shared.

Still a little confused on how this whole thing works. I assume we take a blue portal on level 3 to level 2. This would give us 4 hashmarks. We then run up the stairs to level 3 again and take the red portal to level 5 and this would give us 8 hashmarks. The tally of the 2 levels would equal the 12 marks shown for level 6. I was thinking originally blue descended and removed those number of hashmarks and red ascended and added the hashmarks.
Yeah, sorry if that was tough to figure out. I knew the puzzle may be tough to pull off in PbP so I apologize if that gummed up the works. After the scenario, I will post the solution. After you had a chance to look at it, I am certainly open to suggestions of how to better run the puzzle.
Also, please note the game must be wrapped up by 12/20, so please do not forget to do your daily posts.

Looks like no luck on boons this time.
I will be buying a few items this time around.
Havelock will buy a wand on cure light wounds, level 1, and potentially a wand of Mage Armor.
Once we get our sheets where do you want us to post any changes that we may be making?

Alrighty gang, we have logged another scenario. I know this one was a bit different than the ones we are sued to, so my apologies if there were some bumps in the road. The next scenario/module will be much more traditional as I have a few in my sights to run. As always, if anyone has a scenario or module they would like to run, please let me know.
Yes, Ark is right, the boon gods were not with us this time around. No worries, there is always next GameDay.
I will have sheets posted in the next day or so, so keep an eye on your PMs for the link. From here on out, I will be issuing sheets as they normally do for Cons in that I will have the captioned filled as well as prestige and gold awards and you folks will be able to fill in the rest. As for purchasing gear, the campaign management has tweaked the recording. From now on, first inform me, either on forum or PM, what you want to purchase then just note on your chronicle sheet that you had purchased gear and then record the purchased gear on your inventory tracking sheet. I hope this is not too confusing.
In any event, we will be taking a holiday break and look to firing up the next board likely after new year. We will be heading back to the Archon board for the next game.
Good game folks. I hope everyone has a good and safe Holiday.

I have enjoyed our games and Brew has done a fine job GMing. My only issue has been the formatt and some content of the mods. Sometimes they feel a little like a pick a path novel. You can make choices but really have little control on how the story/game turns out. I have been disappointed with the puzzles in the campaigns. I feel some of them make no logical sense and are only created to make things difficult and confusing and not really challenging. When things don't seem logical are the moments when I start to lose interest. There have been a few mods that had puzzle/obstacles that defied logic to gain access to an area. If we can avoid mods that have those kind of puzzles then I know my interest level will remain.
I will try to take a peek at a few and make some suggestions. Thanks again and look forward to gaming in the new year.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you on the various puzzle aspects and am going to avoid scenarios that focus on them in the future. The "on the rails" feel can also be chalked up to the format. For PbP, you eventually have to move forward so at times I need to just start the next scene. I look forward to more gaming in the coming year and, as always, am open to suggestions for games/scenarios to run.

Brew,
total excited about the next PbP Session.
I have totally enjoyed all the sessions. Some modules I think work better on a real table vs. PbP (I saw that a Gen Con), but regardless I am having a good time and I look forward each new day/mini-episode.
I would not mind trying a mod over skype or some other format sometime.
in 3 hours, we could basically complete a mod/mission.
Congrats on your Star Brew, does this mean you can host a table at Gen Con?

Glad you are still digging the games, Ark. Next one will be more traditional, I swear!
GM stars, at least until 4th star, are earned by just GMing PFS games. During the game day, I hit my 10th and 11th games GMed. First star at 10 games and it escalates from there. Anyone may run a game at a Con, regardless of stars. All it takes is time and willingness to run.
In any event, look for the next game to post next weekend as long as RL cooperates.
