In case anyone is interested in Eloriand's story at the end of the last adventure, He was greeted by two thugs and the Priest outside of the door to the inn. Eloriand ducked back in to the inn and whispered to Isador to continue on while he tried to hold off the baddies here at the inn. Eloriand tried to position himself within the inn to limit the thug's ability to flank him, but it mattered not. They tossed the tables and benches to the side and assaulted him. Eloriand was weekened by the Priest almost immediately, but he still managed to take each of the thugs down. unfortunately each thug was almost instantly revived by the priest and Eloriand was eventually overwhelmed.

The Parisians are just as snotty as everyone would have you believe, but if you don't act like a typical loud, obnoxious American tourist and make a half decent effort to speak even just a few French words they will tolerate you or maybe even act friendly toward you. Lots of really cool things to see in Paris. I am sure you will enjoy yourself immensely in both cities.
I would love to run it, but as a pbf game, it would take us 20 years to finish. :-) Roll 20 as a live game is probably not likely with our entire crowd because we would have to commit to a regular cyclic play time which is why some of us are playing by pbf anyway. But, I think Roll 20 as a pbf game on crack is definitely doable. It has the forum, die roller and map all in one place. Some of the shorter sanctioned modules would probably work live though. Some of those are written to be played in 4 hours of face to face time. We would just have to plan ahead for those times.
Just sharing a little Pathfinder goodness ..... The Emerald Spire Pathfinder module just came out in PDF format last week. I have been waiting for this one for several months and picked it up. The print edition comes out in early July. Anyway, it is 16 levels of fantasy RPG goodness with a writing troop that sounds like a whose who of RPG writing greatness. I will probably never get a chance to run or play this one, but could not resist reading it and experimenting with it in Roll20. It takes me back to the eighties and nineties when I read epic adventures like The Temple of Elemental Evil (never played or ran that one either.) ... Ahhhh, the good 'ol days. :-)

Brew, you had me buy 20 arrows before our last adventure so I could top off then. We are good there. I just don't want to carry 40 arrows on my character, so I am just taking a few out of the other quiver that I am leaving behind to give me 20 on character. Between this adventure and last I think I am down 5 arrows total out of the 40 I have purchased.
Just for clarity, Eloriand will be topping off his "on the trail" quiver from his surplus of extra arrows that will be left behind, gibving him a total of 20 arrows on his person. He will also leave home the majority of his coinage in whatever safe place Pathfinders keep their valuables while on missions. Trail ration will be topped off too to original character levels (unless we find out we will be gone for a month or something, then he will carry more). New bow in hand and an interesting new acquaintance to think about, Eloriand is ready for whatever comes next! |
