Smek waits as his colleagues describe the each of the platings, stepping once they finished. He walks through several dinners at posh restaurants where he courted corporate partners... As they conclude, "An intriguing challenge Zo!, food tasting and judging through flavor text!" Once the plates are in front of the judges and the team has finished their descriptions, "So, if the judge's would indulge us. You've heard the descriptions of each item, if you'd be so kind as to try each item I would happily walk you through the experience," he takes a fork and motions for the judges to follow his lead as he takes a bit of the first item. He begins as the judge's take their first bite. "Akata steaks... The marbling makes for a succulent and silk texture, deep earthly tones begin to form at the front of the palate as a more subtle apple and pear flavor creeps to the rear. The beetles add a sharp texture contrast in each crunchy pop, while deepening the earthiness. The crushed berry sauces draws out the natural juiciness and adds a bounty of fresh orchard flavors to the rear palate. Now if you'll try another bite with some of the roasted root vegetable and Castrovelian brandy right after, see how the smokiness and charring pairs to richness of the sauce without being coy or heavy?" Smek continues with each plating, tasting along with the judges and painting a picture of farm fields, grazing animals, along side rolling vineyards doing his best to re-awake a nostalgia for life in the judges. I've got mixed feelings on starship combat. It's hard to engage all the players for a singular entity (the ship), they are least made enough roles that everyone usually gets to do something. Granted Pilot and Gunnery are the most active, and Gunnery lets you use BAB or Pilot skill so it's open to more classes. I'm not sure you can get much better without having fighter-class ships so more people can have a ship-character. I still dream of a system that really engages the 3D aspects of space combat, but without mini's I'm not sure how it would happen. The in-character banter has really kept this fight more engaging too. Nice RP everyone.

I was thinking of him as a freelancer for now, maybe lining up with AbadarCorp through story leads if it works out. As the Hellknight Being rants about paying for damages and what not, Smek tries to get a good look in the weapons locker and med center. Looking for any viable equipment that might help the party. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Smek tries to lock out the Hellknight Being from the security cams and intercom, while leaving the cameras and sound active in this room and patched into the teams personal comms. If he can't, then he shuts down the system to keep the groups movements less obvious. Computers: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Once he's sure the Being can't see or hear them, "So, should we check out the weapons locker before we deal with this nuisance?"

Smek calls out, "We have company back in the foyer... Two small devilish bulters come to take our coats. So polite the Hellknights, though I must admit I find the color scheme tedious." What skill to id the creatures? Mysticism? He glides across the room using the interruption of Elwin in line of sight to garner a better shot at the black devil. "I don't have a coat, perhaps you can take this... " Trick Shot/Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30 DC = 20 + Target CR; flat-footed
