GM zebeev |
Hey all; looks like we're firing with four seats.
if I can get all the pertinent information for reporting here, we can shore up our characters, and set off to Akiton once we're set.
Player Name (that you want to appear on Chronicle)
Character Name
SFS#
Faction
Day Job (if applicable)
And generally any character build quirks or tactics that I or the rest of the PCs should know beforehand.
Alzandre Dufau |
Player Name: philipjcormier
Character Name: Alzandre Dufau
SFS#: 55792-701
Faction: Wayfinders
Day Job: profession(archaeologist): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Alzandre has: Mystic Strike: Your melee and ranged attacks count as magic for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction and other situations, such as attacking incorporeal creatures.
Magical Hacks: Selective Targeting (Ex): When you cast an instantaneous spell with an area effect, you can shape the spell so it doesn’t affect one of your allies. Choose one 5-foot square within the spell’s area to be unaffected by the spell. At 5th level, you can spend 1 Resolve Point to exclude any number of squares with this ability.
Hikaze |
Player Name: GreyWolfXR
Character Name: Hikaze
SFS#: 340976-701
Faction: Dataphiles
Day Job: None
Hikaze tends to be reserved and watchful not as ebullient as your standard Korasha Lashunta. An operative with trick attack and he uses it as much as possible. Outlawed by a Lashuta house/corporation he has found it necessary to cultivate underworld contacts much to his displeasure.
Janilla Gavix |
Player Name: Jim
Character Name: Janilla Gavix
SFS# 56565-704
Faction: Wayfinders
Day Job: Profession (Librarian): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
Are we planning on starting before this Friday? It is fine if we do, just wanted to say that Friday evening, all day Saturday and half of Sunday I am at a convention. I wasn't planning on playing Janilla at the con, though I will have GM credits from the con going somewhere, though I am not certain that adding any to her of GM credit is allowed...if I can't find a definite yes I will just put the GM chronicle sheets on my -705 or -706.
Mystic (Akashic connection) Arcanamirium Sage
She claims to be the great[^X] grand daughter of Janira Gavix (from PFS's The Confirmation). She even has an old wayfinder (now a sunstone compass), along with a computer (micro, so L bulk for the tier it is) named K.S. Also, has spell chips (if you haven't looked into them, slightly more expensive initially, but after multiple uses can be slightly cheaper...). Spell chips are spell gems, but require her to have the chips put into a computer to use them. At this time I have 3 spell chips slotted (life bubble, and 2 remove condition, lesser).
Besides that, she has a starfinder backpack: +4 to her carrying ability effectively, when finding an item you find it immediately, allowing you to retrieve the object as if you were drawing a weapon. In addition, you can stow objects of 1 bulk or less in the pack as if you were sheathing a weapon.)
I will have her character sheet into my profile by tomorrow no later than noonish Eastern on 2/14/19. Including everything that is in that backpack (and it is a lot....again...she is Janilla's granddaughter).
NOTE: I have ran this before, but haven't played it. And I have the extra +2 for having a halfling race boon for this character before it was SFS guidebook opened up the legacy races. Still takes up my personal slot, but that +2 to a stat under 14 is worth it.
Kallus Harridan |
Player:Shadow Bloodmoon
Character: Kallus Harridan
SFS: 119796-701
Faction Slot: Wayfinders
Starting XP: 4
Starting Fame: 8
Starting Credits: 2275
Day Job: Bounty Hunter: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Reputation:
Wayfinders: 8
Acquisitives: 1
Second Seekers (LE): 1
Boons:
Slotless: Starfinder Insignia, Marked Agent
Starship: Hero of the Stars
Kallus is a bounty hunter and it shows. His gruff demeanor and no-nonsense approach to things shines through, especially in combat. He fully intends on joining the Hellknights someday.

Actually, I just realized I might actually be in two games... goes to show you what happens when I'm only on once a day... I'm going to have to pull from this one. My apologies everyone.
Hikaze |
Zebeev,
Do you want starting credits, Fame, XP and reputation breakdowns for the characters?
When do you want boons announced?
Akkedis Dauðlaus |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Thanks for letting me jump in!
Indeed, he is mighty and proud vesk warrior. Trained as commando for the Veskarium, and now using those skills for the Starfinders as a Forerunner.
Player: Anxa
Character: Akkedis Dauðlaus
SFS #: 2352348-703
Faction: Exo-Guardians
Day Job: Orator: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Janilla Gavix |
BTW I will apologize in advance for two things. One, if I spoil anything on any previous missions she might have been on. And the second, I also apologize in advance on me being very verbose in my posts. Especially with Janilla, as she often runs at the mouth. I hope that the Cordelia Chase reference people get...as I hear anything I type with her coming out in Charisma Carpenter's voice.
Janilla Gavix |
Just mentioning (since I am prepping a game with it to run this weekend), that I mentioned that all damage was Stamina first. It seems that I was also right that except for Poisons (and Radiation, since the first part of Radiation is counted as poison, then you get to the rad sickness which is a disease). So, for Poisons, you take Hit Point Damage on the initial exposure (to me that means the very first hit)--whether you save or not--equal to DC of save -10.
So for example, Blue Whinnis is a DC 14 poison, you take 4 pts of Hit Point damage.
I am wondering on if each "attack" count as an initial exposure. I think it should, honestly. And so far I can't find any true ruling on what is "initial exposure". This means that poisons can kill.

Just a heads up. This is the week I do a LOT of teaching (14 labs throughout Tuesday through Friday, 1.5 to 2 hours each lab), so I will not be able to post much if anything after ~9 AM EST each day. If needed bot me.
I do have 1 more spell, probably mystic cure or Mind thrust 1 (as needed). I do not want to use it on Talbot unless he is about to get away, as it will probably kill him.
Janilla Gavix |
Question GM zebeev. Do you think we will have this wrapped up by Saturday morning? I am likely going to want to play at a Con with Janilla or Zanraz (my Nuar Melee Technomancer). If is game is over, I will likely want to bring her instead of the Melee character, mainly because of character personalities at the table.
Just wondering, and if you don't think we will, I will do a quick set up to make sure Zanraz has been leveled/equipped.

Just to make sure I am handling this (PbP) stuff right...
Ending the scenario with just SP and HP reduction doesn't cause any negative effects and the PC starts the next scenario with those restored completely.
For best recording, new equipment purchases should be made at the beginning of the next scenario?
IF leveling, work through the adjustments, update the descriptions, character sheet, whatever, and then be ready for the next scenario, ensuring all appropriate Chronicles are attached to character.
I never asked these question before for SFS stuff... don't know why,. LOL
Maybe it's the super GM and the collective GM knowledge that is making me more comfortable with asking this.
Anyway... Thanks for the game, Zebeev was fun, and a bit nerve wracking at the end. :)
GM zebeev |
SP/HP: Yes, the rest in-between sorties will heal you back to full, it's just afflictions or death that you have to worry about.
Purchases: You'll have to make the GM of your next session aware of any purchases you wish to make, as technically they should make a note of it on the chronicle for that session. Even if you don't don't do your purchasing in-between sessions, at least make a note of things you can think of now that you want to purchase. (I just started a PFS scenario and I forgot to replenish some potions that I used – my character was downed in the 2nd round of combat and spent the last week or so unconscious, because I'm the cleric, and I didn't even have a potion on my belt that someone could have administered in the thick of it...)
It's good practice to have a detailed log of any buying/selling of items, even if it's a simple spreadsheet. (Something like this.)
Levelling: Yup. I keep a Google Drive folder with all of my chronicles and everything, that way if a GM asks for something, I can show them whatever they need. It never hurts to have text file with the choices you made in character creation and advancement too - that way if you need to rebuild your character (I've gone through a couple computers or versions of PCGen that required some reverse-engineering of my character sheet to ensure it was on the straight-and-narrow.)

Anyhoo, fun game, everyone!
I've been fortunately to have some good groups lately, and y'all have certainly fit that description.
Chronicles can be found at the following link, , let me know if there are any issues.
I reported the session through the new Online Support Program, which I noticed takes a day or so to reflect on Paizo's Organized Play section of the site. So if you don't see your fame/prestige increased, don't fret right away.
Alzandre Dufau |
You have me gaining 2 xp on my sheet.
PFS has a sheet for keeping track of your magical item/consumable purchases. I am surprised SFS doesn't as well.
I just noticed I'm in your Breath of the Dragonskull game with my cleric, Oded Fardeth.
