Yes.
You can damage it.
And they have the info' on how much damage to kill it.
And how much damage to what parts to cripple it... but not on how much damage done beside if you try to cripple it.

Thanks for the great run SFS! This was probably the most interactive group I've had. Good RP, fun adventure.
I like the adventure but there were a few railroad moments that left me scratching my head... Send in untrained, non-science types to explore a brand new mega-organism? Then let those same untrained, low ranking team to decide where to save a planet or potentially cause the extinction of a newly discovered species? Hired to lift boxes, real job decide the fate of planets. STARFINDERS! JOIN TODAY!

Hey, if you keep in mind the tenets of the Acquisitives' recruitment posters, it all makes sense!
Travel to interesting places, slay the local wildlife, and get paid to do it!

I was initially not that interested in Starfinder compared to Pathfinder, but having come back to it, I've really enjoyed it. I heard there were some new classes coming soon, but I haven't seen them and I hope they are interesting. Right now, I only like mechanic from the core book.
Also, I suppose if we kept missing the right part to cripple it, we might have ended up just killing the thing outright.

You may be right.
And Statfinder is interesting, but it would be nice to do something other than society.
Would anyone like to do a casual or homebrew game of starfinder?
Pyksi Syfer |
I'm only interested in a casual/homebrew game if I'm allowed my very own Interceptor. The basic rules don't really account for the party having their own separate ships, though.

I've been having a hard time going back to Pathfinder honestly. Once I got into SF, I haven't wanted to play PF or 5e much at all, only problem is everyone around me doesn't feel the same way :(
I was kind of surprised the boon for this one wasn't "your actions may have consequences in a future adventure" given the scale of how that decision felt.

Good point, this felt like it should have one of those 'we'll tell you when you should slot it' consequence boons.
I'd like a little more customization in the classes (maybe select from a list of Feats and skills to start instead of cookie-cutter), but otherwise Starfinder (and Pathfinder) are both solid systems. The online community is great too, getting together with my group gets tougher as we get older.

I am sure they left out the part where if you deal X damage to the side by missing, you damage or kill it. Since all is built/geared for that.
To kill it you need to do 100 HP damage (no attack roll needed).
So, to miss AC 11 where you need to do 20 HP two times... and do 100 dam' missing does not seem a threat!
"your actions may have consequences in a future adventure"
Yes, seems there are no plans for its return..... yet!

I just noticed that the cycle and buggy are almost the exact same size; they both take 2 squares from what I can tell.
Buggy: Large land vehicle (5 ft. wide, 10 ft. long, 4 ft. high)
Enercycle: Large land vehicle (5 ft. wide, 10 ft. long, 3 ft. high)

Leveled up and decided to go with portable power because it allows me to do something that you literally cannot do without the trick while the others make actions you can already do generally better, but don't open up any new options.
GM SFS |
Okay! I made a mistake ((( It is from the Cruiser upwards that they are 10 x 10.
Cool about the Buggy.
I hope you get cool uses from Portable Power!

Chronicle sheets & Boons are live!
(sorry for the delay, got home last night)

Are boons easily tradable in SFS like in PFS? If so, any interest in trading Cashara? The bonuses for my boon are for things I'll never do, but changing the weapon on a spaceship for an adventure sounds extremely in character for Gogglez.
Also, @GM I like all the little personal notes on each person's chronicle. I've never done that because I've simply never thought of it, but I might start doing that now cause of you.
GM SFS |
Yes, I'd hire Korl for merc' jobs if he only costs 6 Cr. or so ))))
Yes, you can trade those Boons.
There's the thing on the top right to fill it out (who it is traded to etc.).
GM SFS |
Aye, toolkits (for +4) for the Profession check (can be used if you need to make a Prof' Merc' roll).
What would be in that tool kit?!
And you can get some clothes, that give you a +1 for DayJobs.
Like a nice set of overalls written: Korl Last, get em' while it lasts...
Cashara A3ion |
Thanks all, it was fun.
Maybe we can all do a casual or homebrew sometime

Is that a no on the trade then? Not sure if you saw that post or not.
GM SFS |
If you had bought them and forgot to count them (for Day Job) then just add 10 Credits to your money.
GM SFS |
@Baròleg: did you get your Chronicle Sheet?
So I can close the game...
GM SFS |
No problem at all!
Well, it was a GREAT game.
SUPER interaction between all of you.
Hope to see you around soon )))
(the character that got DM Credit - Bones - is starting a game with Gogglez!)
I'll close this down in a couple days.
