Was going to start beating up on the drone's but Soryn's outrun them for now. Also, just want to confirm, on PG 320 of the core rulebook, it tells me to apply modifiers from computer systems for attack rolls. Does that mean I add the +2 from the ship's computers, or is that only to computers checks?

You do have a point their Soryn, but we have two gunners and I've only seen that thing lay one per round. Us gunners if coordinated right can take out on two drones in one round assuming we both hit. We would each target different untouched drones, the then next round fire at touched drones killing two while it only replaces one. Then the round after that, we go after orange and yellow, since orange has been damaged. Plus the Platform has to run out of drones. We coordinate it right until it runs out of drones, then we go after the Platform. We can hit the Platform in-between drones, but having four drones, which seems to be the max on the battlefield at all times is a big disadvantage.

Kultha Cleft-Tail |
ROUND 8 - ENGINEERING
With the onslaught of drone fire causing shields to evaporate and sensors to malfunction, Kultha rumbles angrily at the damage wrought upon her ship and focusses on repairs to their shield array;
"Ach! Focussing on restoring shields Kaptain, vill konduct repair vhen opportunity arising!"
DC13 Engineering (DC10+Tier x1.5): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
As the depleted shields, rise once again in power, the big vesk reports on her labours;
"Forvard and Aft shields restored to 60%. Hull integrity reduced to 50.90%... Ve take battering but still in fight!"
[Restore up to 7 Shield points;. Forward Shields restored to 6/10 (+6), Aft Shields 6/10 (+1)]

BETRAYED! Dice-bot lulled me into a false sense of security!!!
Shift back to Evade in the hopes +2 keeps us from getting hit, or Flyby for a free attack on Orange? Are there bonuses for firing at an adjacent target?
You should probably ask the second part in character, so we can respond in character and roleplay while responding. The incharacter asking the crew sounds better than the player asking the players what to do. The second question though is for the DM, so that is out of character.
Soryn, do not attempt to move the ship, I know you are in a rock and a hardplace unless you are moving backwards, Stay in place and evade, we are going to attempt to clear out the drones for you. Then we can restore shields to the front, cause that is where they are going to attack. assuming you can stay in place and shot. Both Orange and Blue have been hit, so if us gunners can take those two out this roundSoryn Viaxeiro |
I was hoping for quick responses, so I could move before I left work.
Pilot/Evade DC 13: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 1 = 25 +2 AC and TL
"I don't think we can take out drones fast enough... It's taking two hits to knock out a drone. It'll crap out more while the rest keep wearing us down. Even if it only has another 4 our hull is shredding and the power core can't keep the shields up. Kultha's holding us together, you and Kat have nearly have the platform."
As he's talking Soyrn swings the ship through the gap in the drones and whirls through the void, making the ship an elusive target. As he closes on the platform he banks the ship, keeping the platform in the mining laser's range and a set of full shields to the drones.
"If anyone else agrees with drones first, speak up. I'm good with a democratic process. Any tie breaker opinion?"
Won't be able to post again until late Eastern Time Zone on the 13th, busy day.

Kat nervously listens to the pilot and gunner debate the best course of action.
"We're so close on the platform, I can feel it. I'll smoke those drones on the next shot"
Gunnery vs Platform: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 1) = 9
Mega Gelub |
Okay Platform it is Mega is wondering if he should just blow up the blue drone, but decides to deal with the boss for now. Again, we are really close, If I have line of sight at the Platform I will fire at it, otherwise I'm firing at the blue drone
gunnery mining laser: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (19) = 23 dmg: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

There's no wrong decisions until we're all floating lifelessly in space. I wanted to keep the coil gun on the platform for one more good one, and let you choose if you wanted drones or not. The phrase "Automated self repair" made the final decision for me this morning. Hate to let off now and have it heal up.
"Nice shot, Gelub! Kat lets out excitedly as she watches the shots play out on the displays in front of her.

Both of the Pegasus's weapons strike the platform's port side, cutting through the depleted shields with ease. You have not recently scanned the starship, but given that another explosion flashes from its power core, you guess from your visual that it's on its very last legs. The drones surround your starship and lay on the laser fire, but your replenished forward and stable starboard shields take the brunt of the damage, leaving only a minor strike to your tail.
