I have a feeling we're going to be dealing with an ex-goblin, here.

It's passed on. This goblin is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late goblin. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-goblin! :-P :-D

Reaping What We Sow

Raknir brings down an overhead chop on the goblin, however, his strike is thrown aside by the goblin's shield.

Lybram moves in to flank and swings his heavy mace wide, bludgeoning the goblin in the side, nearly knocking him off his feet. The goblin reels from the massive blow, but regains his senses and readies his blade.

The goblin's eyes go wide as Leon finds an opening and swiftly decapitates the creature. The head rolls to a stop against the arena's wall.
It is an ex-goblin.
These goblin slayers have 5x their counterpart's hit points!

So, unlike a normal scenario, you'll be fighting off waves of goblins until the House (all tables) completes a certain amount of encounters. The map of the arena by no means matches the description/layout of the Irorium. The map is just for fighting the battles. After each encounter, all of the pathfinders are racing for the exits and fighting their way through goblin hordes and black dragons. You'll have a bit of time and regroup before continuing to the next encounter.

You have 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds to regroup, heal up, and prepare for the next encounter.

Let me know what you are doing for the next 3 rounds, taking into account movement, spellcasting, etc...

Gathering your resolve and healing Leon to full health with your wands, you continue to make your way towards the exit as the battle rages all around.

Suddenly, a huge black dragon descends, bearing a horde of goblins on its back. It precariously perches on the southeastern column, and frenzied goblins swiftly descend to the ground. Some employ rappels while others who are not as wise take daring leaps. Those grievously wounded meet swift ends from nearby Pathfinders, all in the desperate rush to the exits. The dragon sprays acidic breath at a seasoned group of Pathfinders and flies off to engage in battle.

Six remaining goblins, undeterred by the chaos, fix their gaze upon your group, swiftly drawing their bows in unison. With lethal intent, they prepare to unleash a volley of arrows in your direction.

Season of Ghosts

**House GM Announcement**

The attacks die down, and all serious threats are driven out of the Irorium and onto the streets. The eerie pillar of light still shoots skyward from somewhere on the Grand Lodge’s grounds, and the citizens of the city stand in dumb awe of the spectacle. A group of Pathfinders, badly injured from the fighting, call to you as they limp along. "Hurry, get to the Lodge! It’s under attack!"

Getting there is easier said than done. Plotting a course toward the Grand Lodge proves simple enough, given the immense pillar of light streaking up into the night sky. The streets, however, are choked with panicked and fleeing citizens. Your race through the Foreign Quarter to the Grand Lodge brings you to a large market. Collapsed buildings, broken tents, and piles of debris torn from other nearby structures form a crude but effective-looking barricade across the center of the market square, blocking your progress.

Bummer. I thought we were going to have another week, at least, to do a couple more combats in the arena.

Just before the goblins are about to fire their bows and the other three attempt to stand up in the grease, the corpse of a huge dragon falls from the sky and crushes the six underneath. Your group makes a mad dash for the exit.

New map of market square is up on Slide 2. Place your icons in the yellow box to the east/right. Gray boxes are barricades, which are only 2-3 feet high and provide cover for the goblins behind them.

Will get to goblins' turns very soon...

Reaping What We Sow

With Lybram stunned (not in game terms) after getting crushed with a pile of debris, the goblin in black steps back a few paces and fires his bow at Lybram...

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

The goblin with a blue bandana covering his head also steps back a few paces and fires at Leon...

The female cleric points at Leon and intones befuddling words. Leon's mind tries to comprehend the confusing ramblings...

Leon appears utterly confused!

He swings his scythe wildly, everyone in the know praying for a poor attempt (or at least not another Crit, lol).

Oh, that's bad. Nothing I can do about it, though, except draw fire. Raknir rushes up and invokes a more complex spell than his usual. Two darts of magical force strike the cleric.

"That's what I get for trying to be a hero..." Then the scythe comes down, "Leon, no!"

I will assume Lybram is still standing and that Lybram is not restrained by anything that fell on him. But, that he is still in difficult terrain.

Reaping What We Sow

Leon's thoughts swirl in a chaotic maelstrom as he slashes Lybram with his scythe, a frenzied action that suddenly snaps him back to reality.
Luckily it was lesser confusion.

With swift precision, Raknir hurls two bolts of force, unerringly striking the female cultist. She grimaces, then instinctively ducks for cover.

Lybram, his side grievously wounded, applies pressure to stem the flow before his innards spill out. A fervent prayer to Erastil is swiftly answered, providing the much-needed divine healing. He scrambles over the debris, though his little bear, tempted by the alluring scents of the abandoned Meat on a Stick cart nearby, seems momentarily distracted.

Mounted on her trusty riding dog, Corba weaves her inspiring tale, captivating her eager teammates. She deftly fires her crossbow at the goblin in the top hat behind the barricade, eliciting a yelp of pain.

Enemies' turn...
The goblin in the snazzy top hat hastily pulls back, gaining some distance. He raises his bow and takes a shot at Lybram.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Piercing: 1d4 ⇒ 3
The arrow disappears into the distance.

Meanwhile, the goblin in blue aims at Corba as she charges toward him astride her dog, darting between the looming statue and small fruit carts...
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Piercing: 1d4 ⇒ 1
The arrow nicks her in the thigh.
The goblin swiftly backs closer to the cultist, forming a protective barrier.

The female cultist, catching sight of Raknir's approach, points at him ominously, her murmured prophesies casting a pall of dread over him.
