I agree. I seem to be available in waves. I am about to head out for 2 weeks of camping and am unsure of internet availability or even cell availability.
I do love this game and will continue to play as long as it is being offered.

Well I started running a PBP game of Skull & Shackles back in 2016. Which I actually finished!
This is the second game I started running and I want to see it through to the end as well!
We do need someone to take Raktar's place though. Recruitment or do you know someone who wants to join?

Hey, folks, my Dad's in hospice care so the bulk of my time has been spent with him. I've barely been home. Pretty much only to sleep. About to head back to the hospital after I grab some breakfast.
He's been asleep since last Saturday so he doesn't really have much time left.
Just giving you all a heads up for my absence.
Just an update from my last post:
About a couple of hours after my post, we - I've a brother and a sister - lost our dad. He suffered from dementia and lost so much weight and muscle mass, he could no longer walk on his own. Unfortunately, that did not stop him from trying to walk and he wound up falling twice within the last month/month and a half, both times hitting his head and causing bleeding to the brain.
He managed to recover from it the first time, but the second time - which was just a couple of weeks ago - was just too much.
You know, even when you are expecting it, it still doesn't make it any easier. You'd think it would but it doesn't.
Anyway, just wanted to throw out an update.

The average for a D10 hp roll is 6, plus you add your con bonus.

Alright. Character crunch finished. I'm thinking of having her be a former league member who worked on the outside, at least to explain the mountains of tech gear that she would have outside her cell. Tried to quit to get away from pure evil, stun-gunned and put in prison due to the mountains of gear she has around.
Techslinger/Musketeer multiclass that decides on melee/ranged depending on what enemy they're facing, so as to not step on your Techslinger's toes too much. I couldn't resist the urge to go for Signature Deed (Covet Charge) buffoonery, otherwise it'd likely only be five levels of Techslinger to get Technic Training for a weapon. She isn't nearly as beefy as your Oracle was, so she'll have to go ranged at times to avoid dying, though.
As for race selection, -2 WIS +2 CHA means nothing for this multiclass, aside from making Will saves a bit worse (Grit and Panache stack). That, and I can take "Curiosity killed the Cat" seriously :)
I take it I'll have to bot your Oracle until we get to the cells?

Should only be a day or two before you are formally meeting everybody. :)

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad a few years back to a heart attack - his first and only one. He was 80.
I do have a question for fluff: how much about the Technic League is Ana allowed to be aware of? Are things like names of the captains, what they're doing to Kevoth-Kul, and potentially even the league's history on the table? None of these would have any mechanical impact.
And I'll add my second condolences onto the table, lost my grandfather a few years ago and took a long time to cope with the fact. It's understandable to need time to grieve.

You know the names of the captains. The general politics of the league. You know what they were doing to Kevoth-kul.
If it becomes relevant you'll get a note. But the whole league structure is now being kicked over so it is not too important. :)

@Skorn: My gosh. That would just be far more difficult to deal with. At least, I think it would be. Our dad's health was pretty much in a steady decline over the past year. (He just turned 83 in March). We knew he didn't have long. Especially when he'd been asleep for a couple/three days straight. Then we knew.
But there's no knowing with that. Ugh. Rough. Just rough.
Glad to be here, Javell, and here's to hoping I made Ana distinct enough from your techslinger whenever combat starts up.

Sorry for going quiet. Had a family get together over the weekend and of course someone was carrying a cold but 'Didn't want to miss everyone.'
So naturally I'm now flat on my back with an awful head cold. Seems to be letting up but the weather down here is cold so I'm staying warm in bed.
Hopefully should be back tomorrow.
I was a little too optimistic regarding recovery time. I've had an awful few days with this cold. Managed to not go to pneumonia thankfully.
Spent most of my time sleeping as being awake was unpleasant.
I am so sorry to hear you are under the weather. I have a friend here that is hospitalized with septic pneumonia. It was a close thing for a few days but he is recovering.
I thought I already posted that, but my condolences regarding your being under the weather. Here's to hoping you get well soon, DM!
12 years ago my Father had a bad bout of Pneumonia, while helping him I picked up a case of it myself, but nowhere near as severe.
After that whenever he caught a cold it went straight to Pneumonia sadly. One of the health issues that plagued him in his final years.
I've been lucky not to have that happen to me, it really knocks you down and leaves you weak.
So whenever I do catch a cold I make sure to do all the right things to avoid it getting worse.
Hopefully your cold is better, as I know especially with a past like that it can be nerve-wracking.
