Runt's magically guided strike hits Lucretia followed by one of Forest's flurrying attacks. Obviously Lucretia is grievously injured and likely if she thought you would let her live she might have given up but she has no such illusions. Instead she glances at the door and sends hatred toward Runt and Forest with her eyes. Vale tries to get past her defenses but she easily parries his blows.

I did not include the to hit bonus for the bless because it does not stack with battle cry. Speaking of battle cry, does it last as long as you perform? How many HP does your scorpion have?

Runt and Camil pile on taking advatage of Lucretia’s moment of inattention. With a scream of rage she collapses, dead. If aomeone had not heard the sounds of battle, they definitely heard that.

"Well, now to see if she had any scrolls of restoration."

Forest opens his eyes but doesn't move. He stares at everyone and drools a bit. Lucretia had a few magic and masterwork items: wand of scorching ray (22 charges), +1 keen rapier, masterwork dagger, Sihedron medallion (+1 resistance bonus on all saves, false life as free action 1/day at CL 5th).

Forest:
Your wisdom is on par with a shrieker fungus. It is nearly impossible to think. You don't understand what is going on around you. Light, noise, movement, it's all too much to process.

Are the weapons sized for a large creature? Runt already has one of those medallions so someone else should take the other one.

"Nothing here that will help Forest. I'm thinking we toss the body to the lizards and clean up the mess. Leave a mystery for whoever might come along."

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

The weapons are all medium sized. While she had a large seroentine body, her humanoid upper half was medium sized.

Toss the body in the ghost cavern or the crevasse under the bridge.

My thoughts exactly. Under the bridge!

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

Several of you work together to pull her body back to the bridge and toss her into the crevice. This takes about 15 minutes with Vale working with Kizzy to redirect shocker lizards.

Does Isabella have another restoration spell?

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

You find that Forest is capable of getting up and seems quite healthy other than the mental fog he seems to have.

(In game terms: Someone must take a move action to tell Forest what to do. He will then continue doing this thing until he is told to stop or he gets too tired to do it. He recognizes his more constant companions but not anyone else and will not oblige others. This means Vale cannot give him directions nor will he take directions from newly encountered beings. I'm trying to determine how much access to his special skills he has. His intelligence is fine but a 2 Wis is on par with a shrieker fungus. I will try to look at his character sheet today to determine. In general, gross motor functions are easy, anything requiring mental prowess will be sorely limited.)

A little huffing and puffing later, Runt looks around and suggests, "Well, the room the serpent gal was in had a couple of doors. shall we go back and check them out? Or would it be better to wait a day so we can restore Forrest?"

I put Runt next to the door to open if we go that route.

Doesn't sound like our main battle wagon is in much of a shape to fight right now.

Vale lets you know the west door leads to the dungeon, the north to the stairs up.

"Unfortunately there is nothing more that I can do for him today," says Isabella. "I'll help lead him for now. It is probably... unwise... for us to press on in this state, though."

"Who else needs further healing?"

I am still suffering from the specter; but getting Forest better is the priority. I can also take care of Forest when needed.

"It does seem like we are getting a bit messed up. But, though a more immediate problem, Forrest will recover over time. Yours is more serious. I'm thinking the next 24 hours is critical for you. Unfortunately, I have nothing that I can use to help you with. Heroism would help, but I'm out and, besides, the best I can do is 3 hours per casting which won't cut it."

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

Isabella knows that bedrest and particular herbs (longterm care if you have a kit) would help Forest recover much more quickly. As for Kizzy, both Runt and Isabella feel that magical aid would best be used at sunrise.
