Hey folks, I've spoken to UncleFroggy and they'll be bowing out of the campaign as it's not really been a good fit for them. I'll bot Shadow Fang as necessary for the time being until we reach a good point for the character to step out of the spotlight.
Now, that leaves the game with 5 players. I'm content to carry on with just the 5 of you but I'm also happy to look for a new 6th/take suggestions if there's someone out there you guys would like to invite to join us. Just let me know.

Hey folks, Tchoquko’s player told me you guys might be interested in a replacement player. I’m in the “unlearning PF1 but no longer a PF2 noob” phase, and do enjoy playing a Rogue - which I’ve heard you have lost. Still reading through the Gameplay thread to get a sense of the story so far…
GM Ladile - are there any modified rules in play? Ancestries allowed/off-limits? Happy to see a Skeleton in the mix!

As far as myself as a GM goes, I try to be fairly laid-back and flexible when it comes to rules and rulings and I'm willing to entertain a fair bit if the reasoning and/or RP behind it is good. My pace tends to be on the slower side of things, partly due to life and partly because I don't like to rush the RP if everyone's having fun with it.

@GM Ladile - am considering a Iruxi/Lizardfolk (Unseen heritage) Rogue (Ruffian racket) with the Outskirt Dweller (Season of Ghosts Player's Guide) background. A forest dwelling bandit-cum-trapper who trades for game in town, now somewhat completely discombobulated and wandering the streets of Willowshore...does that work?
I was looking at Fetchling and Duskwalker, but even though the theme of the AP is horror-adjacent, it feels like those themes are kinda well represented already...I also considered a straight human (or even Nephilim versatile heritage), and even Orc, but this concept seemed to give me the most inspiration...
^Yes, that would work just fine! As I mentioned when the others were making their characters, you're free to decide if you want to have any ties to local NPCs (friends, rivals, friendly rivals, occasional hunting/trapping partner, etc.) or if you'd rather play it by ear and see if such things develop as we go.
@Thanks GM Ladile. I'm going to go with "playing it by ear" - thinking of a semi-outcast of a lizardfolk tribe (they still communicate, but something he did rubbed various snouts out of joint - likely decided not to follow umpteen tribal rules etc) who is also an outsider of Willowshore. Likely knows a few contacts, i.e. slight reknown as a local figure, but mostly unknown, with a slightly shady reputation.
I'll make a character and let you know when I'm ready to post...
Ok, Skaav is ready to go. I chose the cold iron lump as his special item. As I said, it might be easiest for the rest of the party to come across him wandering the mist filled streets of Willowshore wondering what in all the hells is going on...
I would imagine he has seen Sneakerz, but has about as much knowledge of the gaunt woodsman as most villagers.
As for Puc-lee, Amila, Petal and Castor/Pollux they have probably seen him trading pelts and game for coin. He's known to inhabit the forest on the east of the Duyue River between the shore and the Gree Silk Peak - his tribe "apparently" ranges closer to Karahai, but that could be rumors.
@GM Ladile - happy to amend any of Skaav's particulars to suit you...

I'm alive (and thankfully well) but have had a lot going on with work and family stuff lately. I've got to head to bed in a moment but I will catch up on things later tonight. Thank you for your patience and I apologize if I've made anyone worry.

Yep! The information blurbs for map locations are things that all of your characters would know (or at least have the option to know). There's a fair bit of information *to* know since the adventure is centered on Willowshore and the region around it, hence setting up the Kanka portal to help everyone (including me) keep track of people, places, and things :)
And there I’m choosing, at times, not to know. ;)

Hey folks, this may (or may not) seem abrupt but I've given it some thought and I believe that it would be best for me to put this game on an indefinite hiatus. I certainly set out with the best of intentions for this game and was quite excited about it (and I still do really dig the AP's story), but found myself getting waylaid by RL stuff (mostly good, thankfully) which then snowballed...and here we are nearly a month out since my last in-game post. That's no way to tell a proper story and that's certainly no way to keep people engaged, either.
So my thought process is to put a pin in this for now and perhaps, hopefully, come back to it at a future time where life is calmer and I'm in a better position to give the game the time and attention it deserves. When and if that happens, I'll send out PMs to see who is interested in picking things back up - and if there's no interest, that would be more than understandable.

You say your RL stuff is mostly good, and I do hope what isn't good is only in passing. Just let us know if or when you're ready.
That’s understandable. Real life is more important and the game can wait.
By all means we can put this on hiatus and come back at a later time. RL always wins in these situations.

I'll echo Amila in being glad real life being good is the cause and hope it continues to be so (and possibly doesn't continue to be the cause)! ;)
If you could mark the Game as Inactive (when you feel it is appropriate) that will help me keep a sense of my current games...unless that means you can't reinstate it later....
