Yeah, 10 XP is still level 1. So rebuild now would be fine. And from what Tiger clarified, after the next adventure and having 12+ XP and qualifying for level 2 you can still rebuild until you actually start playing a game with the level 2 version of the character.
After that it is Retraining with Downtime only, or use a Rebuild Boon.

Tiger, question. How far am I towards my batch of healing potions (minor)?
When you say Minor Healing potions, I'm assuming you mean Elixirs of Life? Healing potions are magical items while Elixirs of Life are alchemical. Per the description, it's 4 days + a Crafting check. Since it was not successful, your batch of elixirs isn't complete, though you can recoup the cost for the items at 100%.

I've been trying to make them since the first downtime because I know it does take a while.

Well, assuming you've met the requirements, you still need to pass the Crafting check at DC 15 (1st level). Since you didn't crit fail the roll, you are able to recoup the raw materials at full value, but your attempt did not succeed. The work takes 4d + the Crafting check.

I've only got two valid crafting downtimes, right? Since bounties don't count towards crafting EXP iirc
So, being Field Commissioned, I've got 12 days from Pathfinder Trials and 6 days from Swordlord's Challenge?
The first check was a 26, this second one was a 11. Which makes for a critical success and a normal fail.
I'm sorry, crafting still feels weird @-@

3 actually. Pub Crawl was a quest and would have qualified.

How about from the first crafting attempt?
I don't know how crafting in PFS during downtime works either. How much downtime are we getting between each of these adventures? I would think that the crafting check would come after all of the downtime has been done, but I am not sure on that. Or even if there is only one check or if you have to repeat the check for each downtime section (though repeating the check would seriously tank the probability of success - like exponentially decreased success rates).

Scenarios - 8
Quests (Season 1) - 2Quests (Season 2; starting from 14) - 4
Adventures/APs - 24 per book
Field Commissioned - add 50% to the above.

If 1 exp = 3 downtime days for field commissioned. So...
Port peril got me 3 days with a crafting check of 16, trials got me 12 days with check of 26, and swordlord's challenge got me 8 days with a check of 11.
Which using the crafting table, would make for
days 1~4: Crafting Start
days 5~15: 3 sp/day (33 sp)
days 16~23 2 cp/day (16 cp)
total: 3 gp, 4 sp, 6 cp
If a batch of 6 the cauldron lets me craft costs 12, I still got 8 gp, 5 sp, 4 cp to works towards, right?

Looks like 20 reputation, so I think that is almost level 3 if we get XP and Reputation at the same rate and you put all the reputation into the one faction.

I am probably going to be running it throughout SkålCon 2023 as a charity table. If I run it PBP, I will likely run it only once. I still haven't gotten a chance to run Fanciful March of Urwal in PBP here on the forums, but if I'm in the middle of writing, my bandwidth for running things goes down.
(And I just got another gig that I am working on, The Mumble Festival: Return of NDA. Which is not related in any way to the earlier project, other than the working title.)

You want to take a turn, Cath? Easiest way to learn is to just dive in. My first time was scary but it'll get easier. Best ones to start: B10 (Hillcross Roundup; skill checks galore), Q04 (Pub crawl), B09 (Fishing in Anthusis), Q14 is also kind of ok... there's always the Beginner Box, which is really a "hold my hand" type of exercise.
I've found that the more you put it off ("few more sessions"), you're never gonna do it :)
For starter scenarios - 04-01 (Boundless Wonders) is a very GM-friendly scenario.

I find that knowing the rules is the easiest part of the GM's job. And the easiest to offload to one of the other players at the table.
As far as rules go, the GM just has to make rulings on debatable rules or how the rules apply to this particular situation. Knowing what the rules printed are - you can always use your phone a friend helpline.

I am going to suggest running a repeatable adventure for a friendly audience - us, the same players you have been playing with all along. Offload the rules questions, or look them up as you go. This is PBP. It's a great place to learn to GM.
