Mary scans the area and you don't detect any magic but you see the the javelins and polearms they were using seemed Masterwork in quality.

Total there are 4 Masterwork Polearms and 8 Masterwork Javelins left, but it will take awhile to go grab them all so you can't get them at this time.

Mary goes over to the 3 felled creatures and is able to put 6 of the Masterwork Javelins in your Haversack. Atlan moves to get a better look around. Fang flys up to get a even better look around.

Eustice moves into flank while drawinghis ling spear, avoiding an AoO, and then tries to poke at Red.

Eustice moves up and is unable to hit the creature. Kelpy takes a deep breath to focus and finally lands a hit and finishes off the creature. With the final enemy down in the surrounding area, you all stay on guard for a few minutes waiting for others to come but all you hear is silence.

Out of Combat!

You look around and are able to gather up a total of 4 Masterwork Glaives, 12 Masterwork Javelins, 4 Masterwork Falchions. Unfortunately there is nothing else on these creatures. and not much left in this courtyard area.

Fang can fly up and let you know that not only is there stairs leading down directly to the south of where you are but also there is another set of stairs leading to the south west.

What stairs are you going to take going down?

”Guessin’ we could just take these stairs in front of us. What do ya think?”

Without waiting for an answer, Fang floats towards the stairs.


After healing and gathering yourself you descend down the stairs. You notice that it is in complete darkness. Eustice, Fang and Kelpy can see what is described and shown on the map but Mary and Atlan can not and are following along with guidance.

This long hallway, some one hundred fifty feet in length, runs from the bottom of the courtyard stairs just north of the cathedral to another set of stairs in the south, leading deeper into the temple. Other corridors open from this one at right angles, and several doors line the walls.

Eustice, Fang and Kelpy see a total of soldiers in this hallway, but you notice that there is 2 of every soldier. They look at you and are ready to fight.

Initiative:

I am going to assume that Mary would of cast light and also going to assume that the light was cast on Atlan. The red line is the as far as Mary and Atlan can see on their own. The rest of the map you can't see.

Not sure of action economy here. Will do an Intimidation check and if possible will ready to attack one that closes the distance enough. If not the Intimidation check will have to do.
