- As it's close to midnight, here, and no word from the remaining two players who registered an interest, I am going to call this recruitment officially CLOSED.
- Thank you so much for your interest in the game and your wonderful submissions (of which there are 36!). I'll be going through the final few and then considering who will fill the 5 positions in game. (I wish I could take more because of the terrific turnout. However, I'll only be running the one table as that's all time will allow me.) I will make an announcement on my Sunday, 22nd August (northern hemisphere: Saturday, 21st).

Thanks GM... things are normalizing a bit, but I stand by my withdrawing... my submission would not have been up to my standards under the circumstances.
Good luck to all who got their submissions in (I looked over a few of them, definitely some hard decisions for the GM to make) and hopefully I will get the chance to play with some of you else where.
The hour of destiny approaches! WHO WILL RISE?
Firstly, I want to thank you all for your effort and patience. With so much interest in a game, it can be hard to select only a handful of players. I do understand that for some players they have repeatedly been trying to get into a Jade Regent game. That can only make the decision harder and the desire stronger; yet I only wish to have a group of players who can work and have fun together.
If you're not successful this time around, then I am certain a GM may come along and be willing to run another adventure - please don't be disheartened. The characters submitted, here, are all of a high calibre.
So, not to prolong the wait, I have decided to take six players (instead of the five I mentioned in my initial recruitment post).
