Boon of the Infernal Tongue:
Posh may speak a single phrase with infernal authority once per day, as if casting Suggestion (DC 15 + Cha modifier).
He gains Infernal as a bonus language, if he did not already know it.
When invoked, his normally bright gnomish voice deepens, echoing with a resonance that is not entirely his own — as if another speaker speaks through him.

Forgery:
You have forged documents issued either by the crown or by the Church of Mitra. Alas, that your forgery while competent was not entirely undetectable. To be sent to Branderscar, this was no minor finagling of paperwork. This forged document could have cost lives, undermined the reputation of the Church or endangered the security of the realm.
Punishment: Life at hard labor in the salt mines
Benefit: You gain a +3 trait bonus to Linguistics skill checks to commit forgery and Linguistics is always a class skill for you.
Background:
Background
Few men have ever been condemned to Branderscar Prison with such a flamboyant flourish as Poshment Stemtimple. It was an offense to dignity, really—being shackled and branded like some common thug. But Talingarde has no love for enterprising men like him, men who understand the true currency of power is not faith, nor valor, but ownership.
Posh was not always a criminal, at least not in the way the self-righteous paladins of the Trinity see it. Born and raised in Daveryn, he was the son of a respected surveyor and spent his youth underfoot in the bustling port city, learning the art of cartography at his father’s side. The city of thirteen districts offered no shortage of back-alley deals, and young Posh soon realized that there was far more money in redrawing the world than in simply recording it.
At first, it was a simple matter of corrections—adjusting property lines ever so slightly, selling “expedited” permits for development, or conveniently misplacing unfavorable records. Then came the grander ambitions: forged deeds to tracts of land that never existed, phantom trade routes, and even entire bogus settlements on maps bound for foreign investors and noble speculators. With his keen eye for detail and silver tongue, Posh became indispensable to Daveryn’s underworld, ensuring that when men set out with high hopes to claim their "promised land," all they found was an expensive lesson in trust.
Poshment was never a thug—he preferred business over bloodshed, elegance over violence. He built a network, weaving his maps into a web of deception that lined his pockets handsomely while never quite dirtying his hands. He bribed officials, blackmailed surveyors, and, when necessary, had other men handle the less pleasant work of eliminating loose ends. The city’s criminal element had its share of cutthroats and bruisers, but Poshment? He had style.
The Fall of Poshment Stemtimple
Like all great men, Poshment’s downfall came not from incompetence but from betrayal. A deal too sweet to pass up—an elaborate forgery of an entire estate, sold to a very wealthy, very well-connected noble house—was supposed to be his masterpiece. Unfortunately, it turned out that the buyer was Duke Hadrian of Daveryn himself, a man with little tolerance for being duped.
When the ruse was uncovered, Poshment attempted to flee, but the reach of Daveryn’s Watch was longer than he had anticipated. Within a week, he was dragged before the magistrate, his grand plans and fortune disintegrating before him. The judge's gavel fell with finality: Forgery. Fraud. Treason. A lesser man might have pleaded for mercy, but Poshment merely adjusted his broad-brimmed hat, curled his waxed mustache, and smiled—because if there was one thing he knew, it was that maps are never wrong.
It is merely the world that has yet to catch up with them.
Now, Poshment rots in Branderscar Prison, but he does not despair. After all, he is a man who reshapes reality to suit his needs. One need only redraw the boundaries of one’s fate. The guards may believe him broken, but they fail to see what he does: Every prison is just another map. And every map?
A puzzle waiting to be solved.
Appearance & Personality
Poshment Stemtimple is the very image of a gentleman rogue, exuding an air of cultured refinement even in the depths of Branderscar. He is never seen without a broad-brimmed hat, its elegant shape perfectly accentuating his luxuriously curled handlebar mustache, waxed to perfection even in the most dire of circumstances. His clothing, though now reduced to prison rags, once spoke of wealth—fine waistcoats, imported silk cravats, and an ever-present twinkle of confidence in his eye.
He is a man of words over weapons, always preferring to talk, deceive, or manipulate rather than resort to violence. That said, Poshment is not a coward—he simply believes that brute force is the tool of lesser minds. He surrounds himself with men willing to handle the dirty work, keeping his own hands impeccably clean. To him, the world is a grand chessboard, and he plays the long game.
Above all, Poshment worships gold, power, and Asmodeus, believing that order and control—when properly wielded—can make even kings bow. And if Talingarde’s so-called righteous rulers think they have bested him?
They should check their maps again.
