"Tas!" A scrawny human woman stands with her hands on her hips scowling at her son who was staring blankly into the horizon.
"Tas!" She shouts one more time, pulling a lock of his golden hair to finally grab his attention.
"This gentleman has been waiting to purchase from you for at least four minutes!", she smiles at the customer trying to look more playful than angry. "I swear this bo-"
The young half-elf cuts his mother off with a gesture. "Actually mother, he already purchased the burn ointment and something else besides. He's waiting for me to craft a tattoo."
His brown eyes smile as he hands his mother a few coins from his pocket. As she walks away he produces an image of a fierce axebeak in vibrant colors, the glass blowers apprentice nods approvingly and takes off his shirt.
"She forgets I've grown up sometimes. Not that it matters to you, I suppose. Tell me, has there been anymore trouble in Sandpoint since we last came by?" He scans the rest of the customers walking around the caravan hoping to catch sight of Ameiko.
"Bevole, go find Ames!" Tas says as he rolls up a sleeve revealing the tattoo of a sleeping skunk wrapped around his forearm. Slowly it begins to uncurl and leaps off the half-elf's arm in a burst of twinkling magical energy, landing softly in the grass beside the workspace.
Tas yawns as the energy dissipates, "No, no I'm not tired, " he says waving off the glassblowers concern, "just a side effect of the transfer, I assure you I'm quite awake."
He pats the skunk on the head while collecting his paints and needles. Hastily scrawling a note for his familiar to deliver to the Rusty Dragon's owner.
Come on Ames where are you? We need to talk. He thinks as he prepares his paints.
