TRACKED RESOURCES:

Magic Tail (Disguise Self) (2/2)

FEATS:

Magical Tail: You gain a new spell-like ability, each usable twice per day, from the following list, in order:

disguise self
charm person
misdirection
invisibility
suggestion
displacement
confusion
dominate person.
For example, the first time you select this feat, you gain disguise self 2/day; the second time you select this feat, you gain charm person 2/day. Your caster level for these spells is equal to your Hit Dice. The DCs for these abilities are Charisma-based.

Special: You may select this feat up to eight times. Each time you take it, you gain an additional ability as described above.

Fox Shape: You can take the form of a fox whose appearance is static and cannot be changed each time you assume this form. Your bite attack’s damage is reduced to 1d3 points of damage on a hit, but you gain a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear as a fox. Changing from kitsune to fox shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as beast shape II, and your ability scores change accordingly.

Weapon Finesse With a light weapon, elven curve blade, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.

SPECIAL ABLITIES:

Keen Kitsune Although amiable, kitsune are notoriously clever and cunning, often far more than they seem. Such characters gain a +2 bonus to Dexterity and Intelligence instead of Dexterity and Charisma. This racial trait alters the kitsune’s ability score modifiers.

Superior Shapeshifter Some talented kitsune take more naturally to shapeshifting than magic, and develop that gift. They gain Fox Shape as a bonus feat at 1st level, ignoring its prerequisites. This racial trait replaces kitsune magic.

Agile Kitsune receive a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks.

Change Shape A kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex. The kitsune always takes this specific form when she uses this ability. A kitsune in human form cannot use her bite attack, but gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear human. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the kitsune does not adjust her ability scores and can remain in this form indefinitely.

Natural Weapons In her natural form, a kitsune has a bite attack that deals 1d4 points of damage.

Low Light Vision: Kitsune can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Best Friend Ameiko Kaijitsu: You are best friends with one of the NPCs;
you’ve grown up together, and while your friend has
had a much more exciting life than you so far, you hope
one day to follow in your friend’s footsteps and see the
world—or perhaps even become an adventurer yourself.
You’ve picked up a lot from your friend, but particularly
his or her skill in interacting with others. If Ameiko is
your best friend, you gain a +2 trait bonus on Diplomacy
checks. If Sandru is your best friend, you gain a +2 trait
bonus on Bluff checks. Whichever skill you gain a trait
bonus on, that skill is always considered a class skill for
you. In addition, in situations where your best friend is
in danger, you gain a +1 trait bonus on all attack rolls
against foes that threaten your friend.

Nine Tailed Scion: You gain a +1 trait bonus on caster level checks for your racial spell-like abilities as well as those from the Magical Tail feat. Additionally, you can select Magical Tail as a bonus feat whenever your favored class grants you a bonus bloodline feat, combat feat, or metamagic feat instead of the normal type of feat granted by that class. You cannot exchange specific feats granted by a class or race for Magical Tail in this manner; for instance, a monk cannot exchange his Stunning Fist feat for Magical Tail.

Clever Wordplay (Diplomacy): Choose one Charisma-based skill. You attempt checks with that skill using your Intelligence modifier instead of your Charisma modifier.

UNCHAINED ROGUE:

Finesse Training (Ex) At 1st level, a rogue gains Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat. In addition, starting at 3rd level, she can select any one type of weapon that can be used with Weapon Finesse (such as rapiers or daggers). Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed. Whenever she makes a successful melee attack with the selected weapon, she adds her Dexterity modifier instead of her Strength modifier to the damage roll. If any effect would prevent the rogue from adding her Strength modifier to the damage roll, she does not add her Dexterity modifier. The rogue can select a second weapon at 11th level and a third at 19th level.

Kitsune’s Guile (Ex)At 1st level, a trickster relies on her intellect as much as her personality. She adds her Intelligence modifier on Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, and Sense Motive checks.

This ability replaces trapfinding.

Sneak Attack If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.

The rogue’s attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every 2 rogue levels thereafter. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. This additional damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit.

With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (such as a sap, unarmed strike, or whip), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack—not even with the usual –4 penalty.

The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with total concealment.

BACKSTORY:
Lark was born just outside of Sandpoint to a small family of Kitsune. They traditionally had scammed those who had what they perceived as having too much then traded what they had scammed for elsewhere in order to get by. She was taught this way of life for most of her life and was taught methods of utilizing the innate magic kitsunes possessed. as she learned to trick people using her innate gifts her family grew less cautious as she started fending for herself.

When Lark was 16 her parents went on a scam didn't return. She waited for 3 days for them to come back before eventually taking her human form in order to enter Sandpoint. She begged on the street near the Rusty Dragon. Seeing Lark and taking pity on her Ameiko offered to allow her to work in the tavern in trade for room and board. slowly they bonded as they worked together and fantasized together about talking about their dreams of traveling the world.

Eventually, Lark brought up her parent's disappearance to Ameiko which led to questions of her heritage, Lark decided that Ameiko was trustworthy and that she couldn't keep her lies up forever so she revealed her nature to Ameiko. Ameiko far from scared or mad was ecstatic, she always knew something was different with Lark but could never figure out exactly what it was.

Lark continued to work with Ameiko in her tavern and helped to deal with ruffians as well as help Ameiko entertain, but both Ameiko and Lark longed for more.

PARTY ROLES:

In combat, lark can fill a second-line fighter slot focusing in on damage as most rouges do, later on she will get a number of interesting spells from Magical tail and other utility from rogue talents.

outside of combat Lark will be a face as well as a secondary skill monkey. With Kitsunes Guile Lark can be quite more effective as a face than her charisma would indicate, and although she did trade away trapfinding she can still disable mundane traps and pick locks well.

In the caravan, Lark can only currently fill the roles of Trader and Cook, though she will likely end up being able to fill the guard and fortune teller roles as well.
