Never saw that movie, first time i hear of it^^

Writing here so i don't spam in the gameplay thread.
My token has no light and i don't want to wander around too much, but when i go to what i assume is a door, because there's no wall stopping me, to the right in the room where we are, i see nothing.

May be i need to light a light again?
Or find some way to get darkvision...


So far as I can recall, Futin was the only one to light a torch, so far. So he's the only icon with a light source.

Villar, on the other hand, does have Darkvision, so he can see without issue. ;)

I moved Futin closer, based on his last post, but he'll have to place himself exactly where he wants to go.

So I just noticed that Darkvision does not seem to have a range limit anymore. It appears that it is just as far as you would see if it was daytime but black and white only. Am I correct in this? If so how far do I actually see?

As far as I know, they got rid of that...I've had that issue many times in my live VTT games, and ended up just giving player tokens vision out to 240'. Whether that's right or not...no idea.

I had assumed that it was 30 ft like in 1st ed. I only just noticed myself when I was working on figuring my post out. This could be one really long tunnel.


Also, just wanted to touch base and see if Ahri and Talina are having issues posting. Hopefully you guys are not getting bored. :)


That is correct.

Personally, I've just put the VTT limit to about 100', as I don't think that people can see much detail beyond that, but if it's an issue, I can easily adjust it.

Despite that, you still can see an end to the tunnel. ;)

Keep in mind, you guys haven't gone through this whole level yet, but it's up to you what you want to do.

I had some issues with the site, but i also have a major event at work next monday i'm in charge of, that took a lot of my energy this week.
Gonna post something soon and should change back to normal next week.

The darkvision thing is interesting, i just gave everyone 60' in all my games. Maybe i need to revisit that, but i think unlimited darkvision really is a bit strong.


You can't see the end of the hallway.

The only reason you can on the map, is because that's the end of the map. :p

I'm still here. Been battling borderline depression (for lack of a better term) and it's been difficult for me to focus RP.

I think it's from work burnout from the last couple weeks. But I'm taking a mental health week next week, I'm hoping that will help.

Sorry that I've been quiet lately. I've been dealing with severe sleep deprivation (and working to boot!). Hopefully should be getting that turned around.

That said, I'm not sure that I understand what Villar was wanting to do next. :p

I moved myself to where I was talking about. We still had to southern passages, one of which seems to connect to the placed we came through, and then what look to be doors at the west end of the entrance.

I'm sorry to hear that too.

Stepping away for a while doesn't necessitate dropping it completely in my eyes. Sometimes taking a break for some time and get some fresh energy does a lot.

You mean with the shield spell and shield block?
Seems good but i'm not sure that really is a good idea.
Your AC would be 17 vs +12 to hit and you can only block 1 hit, which usually is the first.
When they are both full attacking that can go south very fast.

Hit and run tactics focussing on one of them first are probably best in this situation, except Mr. Hellknight is able to tank them.
But tanking in PF2 isn't the best option anyways i think .
If you have several foes full attacking you it's always going to be difficult.


You aren't wrong, but tanking is still decent in PF2.

Honestly, the most effective tactic is almost always messing with action economy.

Sorry guys. I let the weekend slip me by (mostly by sleeping), and yesterday was my PFS night.

Putting aside the fact that I know I haven't responded to Futin's post (wouldn't make a tone of difference), I haven't heard from anyone else in quite a while.

Is interest being lost? Or is something else going on?
