Greetings everyone!
I am currently on the hunt for a new player for this game. We have one player that seems to be absent, but even if he re-appears, I'm thinking of expanding to 5 player (so, depending on what happens, I may be filling out a vacant spot in the near future, as well).
The team is currently only at 2nd level, and in the middle of exploring Citadel Altaerein.
The team currently consists of the following:
Talina - Human female Sword/Board Fighter
Futin - Male Catfolk Divine Sorcerer
Villar - Elf/Teifling Investigator
Cicero - Elf Witch (currently botted)
I'm thinking some kind of ranged damage dealer would be ideal, but I'm willing to hear other offers, and my players will be helping to choose the best fit for the team.
This is not going to be a long process, as I want to get someone into the game sooner rather than later, so I'm only going to leave submissions open until Midnight (MST) on Sunday the 14th.
All guidelines for character creation can be found at the beginning of this thread, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

While I'm probably aiming more towards an ranged character, I'm not outright excluding anything else. :)
Sounds good. I might actually see if I can manage to cook up a Ranger. They look pretty interesting. If not, will roll with Joran.
Okay. I think I got him done. For the love of all that is good I sure hope so. Man the intricacies of PF2 are an absolute BEATING. :P
And for the record, I'm still learning this game so I may be a bit slow. You may be looking for someone far more knowledgeable. Totally understand if that's the case.

No worries about being new. Part of the reason I'm doing is it to try to get PF2 more exposure, just a bit at a time. I think it's worth learning.
Hey thanks! It's a chore but it's worth it. I absolutely have to make it clear and understandable because if I don't, then *I* won't understand it. :P
And I completely agree about it being worth learning. I just recently got picked up as a replacement in a beginner's box game and the little time I've been in that one so far, man it has been fun. The more understanding I'm getting of this game the more I'm liking it.
Too bad there aren't more PF2 games out there. I believe more folks would enjoy it as well if they just give it a shot.
I'm thinking of an elf Fighter with the archer archetype. Are we meant to pick a background from the campaign or can we choose whichever we like?
Campaign Backgrounds are nice, but not required.
I'm not sure why I didn't think of this until just now, but I should make mention that I use Roll20 for exploration/combat. So please make sure that this isn't an issue.

Looks interesting, but you can't take an Archetype Dedication for being Ancient Elf. Can only take a Multiclass Dedication feat.
I'm gonna apply with this character.
Halfling rogue making use of halfling ancestry abilities to gain sneak attack on ranged combat.
There's several other ways this can work though.
Also looking into possibilities to meaningfully use a sling or slingstaff as iconic halfling weapon. Not sure if that works, needs more investigation.
Obviously taking archer or ranger dedication.

Okay. So far so good. Only problem is that Feats are level-dependent. To take the Basic Hunter's Trick Archetype feat (which grants you a 1st or 2nd level ranger feat) can't be taken until 4th level. So, despite the fact that Quick Draw is a 2nd-level spell, it's not available to you until 4th.

If you have any modifications to make to current submissions, please do so. I would highly recommend making sure that you have a short description and history of your character, to tie into the story, if you haven't done so already.

Right. Somehow those didn't make it onto the list.
It's twilight halfling and the emancipated background, which fits the story i had in mind like a glove.
