With 2/3rds I'll make the change. If Villar has an issue with it We can still adjust.
Also, it seems to make sense to me to give one potion each to Talina and Villar so that everyone has some way to heal, does that sound good?

I'm fine with that. It also gives us non-casters the ability to bring one or both of you two back on the off-chance you're both down.

I added the Exploration Mode section up top. Seems that they've added a bunch more activities while I wasn't looking, so I thought that it would be good to have on hand. Keep in mind that not all activities are viable.
@Villar - When you say "Investigate a lead", do you mean your Investigator action Pursue a Lead? Or just Investigate? I'm assuming that you mean the former, but let me know, just to be sure.
The difference being that Pursue a Lead uses your Investigator skills specifically, whereas Investigate just means that, if a check comes up to Recall Knowledge, you will do so automatically.
Pursue a Lead tends to be aimed at a more specific subject. 'This subject is typically a single creature, item, or small location'.
In the current situation, you would probably focus on the door, looking for something that would lead to further clues, at the exclusion to everything else. Or you can Search (using Perception) to look beyond what you've already found.
All in all, good posts, so far, guys. :)

I wanted to bring this up, real quick.
I had originally planned on having players roll their initiative for combat situations, but I'm now wondering if that is a good idea or not.
On one side, it gives you guys a little more control. But on the flip side, when I'm rolling it tends to go a little quicker/smoother.
I'm sure there are other arguments on either side, but what are your guys thoughts and preferences?

I didn't think that 2ned ed rolled initiative? I thought it was a passive total based off of what your exploration action was vs your enemy's passive total.

You still roll for initiative you just get bonuses from Exploration activity, Usually, it is opposed perception rolls but it can be other rolls, For example, my exploration activity lets me roll stealth instead of perception.

            Yes and no.
Generally speaking, if you are in the middle of exploration activities that allow some kind of a roll, you can use those rolls for initiative when combat starts. But not everyone is always doing those kinds of rolls.
For example, Talina is currently Defending, which just means that she has her shield always at the ready. So when combat starts, she'll still have to roll a Perception check for Initiative (which is the default check).
You still roll for initiative you just get bonuses from Exploration activity, Usually, it is opposed perception rolls but it can be other rolls, For example, my exploration activity lets me roll stealth instead of perception.
That is correct, except that if we had already rolled your stealth check before combat, you wouldn't roll again.
Same thing for Villar's Perception check. If we had jumped straight into combat, then the Perception roll that I made for him earlier would be his Initiative roll for combat.
So in this way, it may be just easier for me to take care of it, but I wanted to know what you guys think.

Yeah, you're free to take care of it as far as I am concerned. It streamlines combat a little and combat almost always seems to be what drags games to a crawl.

I think I went with the rapier now because one it does more potential damage than a curve blade more reliably at this point (curveblade's forceful needs to land multiple strikes in a round to do much extra damage and striking runes if I read it right to get the extra damage dice for more damage bonus per hit which isn't easy right now where deadly d8 is automatic on a critical) and two (more importantly) because I imagine it would have been incredibly difficult to find an elven curve blade in Chelliax or on hsi travels to this point.
Changing over is going to happen eventually but not just yet.

No worries.
In general, it's an Uncommon weapon, so it would be a bit tougher to find even out here, but not impossible.
I'll wait for the others to have an opportunity to post before I figure out the results of your feeding frenzy. :)

@ Villar - A Critical Fail is when you miss the DC by 10 or more. Rolling a Natural 1 just decreases the degree of success by one, most often resulting in a Critical Failure.
