Bio:
Hiranno once served under the banner of the Minkai Empire. There, she faithfully served since early childhood. However she became fearful of the political atmosphere as a game of chess was played in the shadows. With the help of friends, she managed to move her family to the safety of Absalom and assumed the identity of a dear departed friend, long dead.
For a few years, she wandered the lands, vigilant for enemies of the past to come after her. She took up the kokyu, an instrument of her homeland. Playing the kokyu became a passion of hers, holding small performances on the side of the road, villages, and a town or two. It dawned on her while visiting Varisia that having a go at the theatre in Korvosa was a good idea. But sadly, the theatre was booked tight. A worker had recommended the theatre in Sandpoint as an alternative. Thanking him handsomely with a private show, Hiranno sent out a quick missive. After a month’s wait, Hiranno grew impatient , and decided to go out to the town in-person to see the owner.
Description
Hiranno is a Kitsune with orange fur and a white blotch on her throat and stomach. A small tattoo, signifying her time as an assassin is on her left shoulder, obscured by fur now grown over.
When changed to her human persona, she appears as an average Tian woman, with long black hair, and a delicate frame. She wears a mix of traditional clothing of whatever area of the world she is traveling in.

DM Alistair |
Well, I had a list, but then I failed to actually hit enter.

Just a sec.

Darius Valinargus - Half-Drow Fighter (Weapon Master)

@Duraz Durak - Yes, both are allowed
@thecooldudenextdoor - I'm afraid I can't in good conscience allow it. Sorry.
Alright, if I missed you, sorry. I'll update this as needed, I promise!

Updated my traits and corresponding skills, as requested. Hero Lab doesn't have the campaign traits and I forgot to add it manually.
They should be there if you enable content from the campaign. It's down near the bottom of the content list. It's there in my version anyway.

Ah! Found it! Thanks!

@DM Alistair: Would you consider using the Background Skills option from Unleashed? I've found it helps flesh out people better than about snything just because it gives the chance to work on Craft/Profession/Perform and non-combat Knowledge skills even for a simple Fighter with otherwise minimal Skill Points.
I ask because I am considering a Varisian Fighter with a focus on Starknifes and would love to have enough points for the Perform (Dance) and a Profession or Sleight of Hand. :)

I apologize about disappearing, between work and helping my brother move after work several nights in a row, I sort of crashed in my off hours. Thankfully I have a huge vacation coming up to recoup!
Alright, let's see where we left off...
Couple of PM's I'm responding to now and now the updated list!
Barlo Underhill - Halfling Rogue (Acrobat)
Mal Dorren - Human Bloodrager (Arcane)
Artix Pavel - Half-Elf Cleric of Erastil (Please change backstory to fit with Sandpoint, not Kassen, please)
Darius Valinargus - Half-Drow Fighter (Weapon Master)

Ansrath Bannitlarn - Elf Alchemist
Hirano - Kitsune Ninja
Marquis Steelrain - Human Wizard (Conjurer)
Ithalil - Dusk Elf Ranger
Agatha Mystblame - Half-Orc Witch
Cloak - Human Unchained Rogue (Still needs a campaign trait (And your classes have "Weapon Master" in them, are you going to dip into Fighter?)
Those not quite making it yet...
Falkir Wildblood - Half-Elf Oracle (Dual Cursed) (Still needs a campaign trait and appears to be of higher level than one and with quite the list of equipment...)
Lao Wei - Kitsune Gunslinger (Mysterious Stranger) (Would like the background info, please)
Vash "The Swift" Val'vraxem - Halfling Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) (Needs two more traits from the look of it, please)
And some answers!
@Eryx - Sorry to see you go (doubly so since I missed your character on the first go!)
@Arknight - At this time, no. I do apologize about that, but I have never actually dealt with the skills in that way before. I will look into them more and when I get up the gumption to run another campaign, I'll probably have them then (once I've thoroughly reviewed them, of course).

Monk's Cloths
Monk's Kit
Although he keeps his golden locks in traditional Dwarven style, he dresses the part of a monk. Indeed he is the height and weight of your average Dwarf, however is slightly more lythe.
Duraz is stern, yet rarely grumpy. He seeks wisdom in all things.
Asher Merivingion |
This is Asher Merivingion. I will re-do his stats for this campaign if you like the concept. As most on these boards, I tire of re-hashing characters for campaign after campaign's specific rules and settings, only to not get in. I do hope I have a reason to re-hash him for you, then. ;)
Asher has sworn off alcohol, although that likely won't actually stand. He grew up the second cousin to a Lord in Cheliax, so while not really ever having money, he grew up around money. He was warded to the Lord by his parents, who had got into a spot of financial trouble with a shipping scheme to Thuvia. He therefore is a bit of a conflict in himself: he's poor, but acts like he's wealthy, mostly from mimicking his cousins, who were spoiled beyond belief, and envying their positions. He feels that poor people are poor because they are lazy, and is a bit prejudiced against the short races, feeling they are not "humanoid", but make great servants.
Asher loves a good meal. Ribs, rich pastas, cheeses of all varieties, avocados and seafood...you name it, if it's well-made, he wants it. He is a fan of the way they cook in Taldor, although he would never admit it around his relations.
When Asher arrived in Magnimar, he just couldn't do it, so he started North, along the Coast road, to look into an old friend, Orik Vancaskerkin. Tomorrow he'll hit a dreamy little stain called Sandpoint, where Orik lives. Sigh. Likely there will be no one who knows their way around a kitchen there. All he wants is to find a place to stick his head in the sand, and make a few coins, which he is dreadfully low on, and perhaps find a woman. His days of mantras and katas and martial training and purpose of defending his homeland are done.
He also hopes to wake from this unshaved nightmare and have his life back...with purpose.
Asher is a Monk (Master of many styles, Martial artist), and will be taking levels of Magus (Kensai, Bladebound, Mindblade). He is Lawful Neutral, I suppose. I tend to play character, not alignment, but I'd follow the DM's lead in this. He is a little of an idealist, wanting an external life that conforms to his values, but not understanding his own values yet. He's curious, quick to implement ideas, adaptable, and can be a catalyst. He is avarice, definitely feels he wants to have it all, never feeling satisfied with what he has. He feels he will never be happy, until he finds what has always been missing. He does not know what that is.
Asher has a secret: he always actually disliked Korvosa. The people, the culture. He wants something more distanced from the greed of Cheliax, which he unfortunately emplifies. This stems from a fear of life; he feels his life is not good enough, not worthy, easily overlooked, thus his nature of avarice.
Zeldana Amaria |
@GM Alistair, I feel I should still give this warning, mostly because this is only the second online AP I've ever put in for. So to this community I am still rather green. But I have been playing pathfinder for four years. I am also dyslexic, so spell check is my best friend! But it doesn't catch everything. Just wanted you to know so it didn't come as a surprise.
Jesse Heinig |
I was recently in a RotR game that sputtered out during the very first encounter, and I find this character interesting and would like to give it a go.
Since you mentioned in your standards, DM Alistair, that we should ask about archetypes, this character uses an archetype. :)
Kiera Videns, exploiter wizard
The character includes some background in the alias. I'd need to pick a race trait to fit your recruitment post.
