Background:
Tiel was born and raised in Kintargo. She always wanted to be an adventurer, having heard and read stories about them. She would walk past the armor shop on her way to work and daydream of the adventures she would have wearing some of it. Those daydreams have all but vanished in recent days. She was a simple dressmaker, with no political leanings until the recent takeover by House Thrune.
With increasingly restrictive and nonsensical proclamations and laws enacted every day, the people are starting to become unhappy. Many people, including her step-brother, haven't been seen several days.
Tiel found herself complaining about these events more and more to her tailor's dummy. She'd do it quietly, in her room upstairs, where no one could hear. Recently, a small bird would sit on the windowsill and watch, as if listening to her rants. Yesterday, she looked the bird square in the eye and said ”Why doesn't someone do something?”
The bird tilted his head and chirped ”Why don't you?
He told her he was a messenger from Shelyn and that she could be so much more than a dressmaker. He convinced her to stop complaining and do something. Needless to say, she kept this a secret. She was going to the protest in Aria Park anyway, but now she is supposed to meet someone who may know what happened to her brother.
