Very haughty and precise, holds himself as better than all the other because well he is, he can use the inner eye to see what others cannot and his usefulness is unmatched.
I'll get an alias and such done up with a background once i've researched the greyhawk elvses a little. If there's time as well.. seems like alot of submissions.
I have previously played champions so this sparked my interest.
I have a few young style heroes that i've used previously that might fit.
Piston Joe - old style looking power armour that looks like it's steam powered but really is animated by Joe's power.
Disco Inferno or just Inferno when older - he's nuts, fun dancer that has fire powers, stupidly heroic protector type.
I forgotten the last ones name, let's go with shell, a bit like venom he has a symbiotic suit or shell. A bit brooding and harsh, he is bolstered and enlightened by his team mates.
Tried several times at Rise games, but they alwys fall through. I have a flavourful idea for a character that would allow for good roleplaying opportunities and would be a utility character.
Originally Garoth was a little bit of a joke that just had to be made.. but i'm really thinking now and i'll try flesh out the concept more thoroughly.
Well Garoth was an adventurer but then he took an arrow to the knee, now he's a humble guardsman in Whiterun, looking for an opportunity to get back out there and show off his newly discovered magical abilities.
I'd like to see a skill element added to shield use. Not just a +1 AC for a feat, but a really skilled shield user is very effective on the battlefield (This should not mean they can protect more companions, this would be separate). They are able to disrupt charges, stop all the offense coming at them, this is not because they hold up a shield in front of them, it's because they manipulate the shield and weapon use to stop incoming offense and capitalise with offense, while still be able to protect them selves with the shield.
tldr There is a very large difference in stopping incoming attack between a skilled shield user and a novice shield user.
Someone mentioned Captain Amerca as not being Lawful Good... ummm.. he always acts for the greater good. He went and saved a large group of pow in defiance of what he knew would be his orders as he could no let other be hurt by his inaction. Then he submitted himself for discipline.
He did not believe registration would help so he could not sign it in good conscience. But when the resistance fight grew to such a stature that innocents were getting caught up in it, he surrendered to stop the harm no matter his own views.
Paladins are not perfect, but they do live by their code.
I too am worried that magical abilities do not become too unlimited, there needs to be some quite heavy rules set for what magic can and can't do. This would help with not allowing non-magic types to be overshadowed. There should not be a spell that imitates everything other classes can do.
Almost done with my Human Monk of Rao (You made a good point GM about the Oread idea)
Heavy hitter Trait (+1 dmg hand to hand) - Regional Is a Golarion trait based on you being a Quain martial artist, is there an analog in Greyhawk that a mentor could be from?
I'll have a go at writing a good story, you can always reject it and i'll make him a human.
I just had an idea involving none other than the temple of elemental evil, the Oread being a being of elemental earth. Maybe not a local but born a local and now an adult has decided to return home looking for work etc.
Can I have an Oread (With almost human trait) - appears to be mostly human and is not an outsider.
Unchained - I've read through the thread and can't find if you've explicitly said you won't use unchained so? I had an idea to create an Unchained Monk.
