6 players would be so much better.. gives some redundancy.. ;o)

Silver Crusade

Any other spots available? ;)

Silver Crusade

Just found this.. fellow aussie here.

I'm making an Elven Divination Specialist..

Very haughty and precise, holds himself as better than all the other because well he is, he can use the inner eye to see what others cannot and his usefulness is unmatched.

I'll get an alias and such done up with a background once i've researched the greyhawk elvses a little. If there's time as well.. seems like alot of submissions.

Silver Crusade

roll 1: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 6) = 17 = 16
roll 2: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 6) = 22 = 18
roll 3: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 1) = 15 = 14
roll 4: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 6) = 20 = 17
roll 5: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 1) = 14 = 13
roll 6: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 4) = 17 = 15

roll 1: 1d6 ⇒ 2
roll 3: 1d6 ⇒ 1
roll 5: 1d6 ⇒ 3

So yeah 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13

I think i'll make a Dwarven druid - Saurian Shaman Archetype, with a Velociraptor Animal companion.

Silver Crusade

Hells Rebel's
Shattered Star
Iron Gods

Silver Crusade

As enthusiastic as I am I just don't have the time to learn a new system atm. So have a blast all

Silver Crusade

I have previously played champions so this sparked my interest.

I have a few young style heroes that i've used previously that might fit.

Piston Joe - old style looking power armour that looks like it's steam powered but really is animated by Joe's power.

Disco Inferno or just Inferno when older - he's nuts, fun dancer that has fire powers, stupidly heroic protector type.

I forgotten the last ones name, let's go with shell, a bit like venom he has a symbiotic suit or shell. A bit brooding and harsh, he is bolstered and enlightened by his team mates.

Silver Crusade

Tried several times at Rise games, but they alwys fall through. I have a flavourful idea for a character that would allow for good roleplaying opportunities and would be a utility character.

Silver Crusade

Natural Aptitude allowed?

Silver Crusade

My earlier idea had been to go Dwarf Druid.. now i'm thinking Aerenwe, but you've said fighter domain...

Would it work if I made a combat type dwarf druid for Aerenwe or should I switch to human or just to fighter?

Thanks

Originally Garoth was a little bit of a joke that just had to be made.. but i'm really thinking now and i'll try flesh out the concept more thoroughly.

Silver Crusade

Well Garoth was an adventurer but then he took an arrow to the knee, now he's a humble guardsman in Whiterun, looking for an opportunity to get back out there and show off his newly discovered magical abilities.

Silver Crusade

If your still accepting new ideas. I was thinking of a bugbear monk.

Converting from the beastiary entry I figure str +4, Dex +2, Con +2, Cha -2, Darkvision, Scent, +4 intimidate and stealth.

What's your take on a first level Bugbear?

Silver Crusade

Sounds like it has great potential

Silver Crusade

Would a Hill Dwarf with the Saltbeard trait be reasonable to have traveled via a merchant ship to the area from Hepmonaland?

Specifically to be a missionary of sorts of a Touv god Xanag?

Or should I pick something like Obad-Hai and make my background more Flanaess based being dwarf and all.

Silver Crusade

Monks chained or unchained please?

Aasimar Azata blooded

Silver Crusade

So looking at the correct bloodline table for dwarves i get Basaia. Interesting.

4d6: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 4) - 2 = 13

Bloodline: 1d100 ⇒ 86 Bloodline roll seems to be a d100 and using Anuirean and 86 gets me Azrai... makes for a good story for a Paladin or Druid

Looking at Dwarf Druid atm

Silver Crusade

Hmm.. thinking of a dwarven monk of Irori or such.

Silver Crusade

4d6: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 1) - 1 = 13

Bloodline: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3) - 1 = 10

Where do we get the bloodline info from?

Do I qualify for a re-roll? I'm thinking of either a druid or a charismatic paladin type from Ilien

Silver Crusade

Dot for interest

Silver Crusade

I'd like to see a skill element added to shield use. Not just a +1 AC for a feat, but a really skilled shield user is very effective on the battlefield (This should not mean they can protect more companions, this would be separate). They are able to disrupt charges, stop all the offense coming at them, this is not because they hold up a shield in front of them, it's because they manipulate the shield and weapon use to stop incoming offense and capitalise with offense, while still be able to protect them selves with the shield.

tldr There is a very large difference in stopping incoming attack between a skilled shield user and a novice shield user.

Silver Crusade

There is nothing more Honorable than victory.

Someone mentioned Captain Amerca as not being Lawful Good... ummm.. he always acts for the greater good. He went and saved a large group of pow in defiance of what he knew would be his orders as he could no let other be hurt by his inaction. Then he submitted himself for discipline.

He did not believe registration would help so he could not sign it in good conscience. But when the resistance fight grew to such a stature that innocents were getting caught up in it, he surrendered to stop the harm no matter his own views.

Paladins are not perfect, but they do live by their code.

I too am worried that magical abilities do not become too unlimited, there needs to be some quite heavy rules set for what magic can and can't do. This would help with not allowing non-magic types to be overshadowed. There should not be a spell that imitates everything other classes can do.

Silver Crusade

Jalaijatali for my Inquisitor, Empyreal Lord of Flowing waters

Silver Crusade

Excellent

An Inquisitor that uses the Conversion Inquisition to turn people to his religion.

Silver Crusade

How about a Grippli they are native to Garund? Maybe a conversion Inquisitor.

Slayer /Arcanist blade Adept..

Silver Crusade

I've only played it a bit, didn't even get slightly through the first book.

I like to make a character that is involved in the town and has a back story to match.

I'd like a druid with an animal companion for this one.

Silver Crusade

Almost done with my Human Monk of Rao (You made a good point GM about the Oread idea)

Heavy hitter Trait (+1 dmg hand to hand) - Regional Is a Golarion trait based on you being a Quain martial artist, is there an analog in Greyhawk that a mentor could be from?

Silver Crusade

I'll have a go at writing a good story, you can always reject it and i'll make him a human.

I just had an idea involving none other than the temple of elemental evil, the Oread being a being of elemental earth. Maybe not a local but born a local and now an adult has decided to return home looking for work etc.

Silver Crusade

Hello GM

Can I have an Oread (With almost human trait) - appears to be mostly human and is not an outsider.

Unchained - I've read through the thread and can't find if you've explicitly said you won't use unchained so? I had an idea to create an Unchained Monk.

Silver Crusade

I've decided on what I'm making a hill dwarven monk of rao. Figuring out his story now.

Silver Crusade

I'm doing up a Wood Elf Ranger.. pipped by a few minutes by Hustonj..

I'll still get him done as it'll most likely be different enough to not matter.

Silver Crusade

Perth, Western Australia

(Quokkas we have em.. Rottnest island is off the coast of Western Australia)

Silver Crusade

Dotting to see If I can get a Ranger done in time to be considered.

Silver Crusade

5 people marked this as a favorite.

Spoiler:

Stupid parts of the movie

These parts break the star wars universe as it has been shown to be.

Lightspeed as a weapon - so why has nobody done this before? It's not like it isn't a simple concept that would have been utilised before.

Resistance Bombers - wtf did they use droppable bombs? Why did the bombs go straight down? Bombers in star wars are generally craft that maneuver and then fire torpedoes/missiles. The B-Wing bomber should have been used in this instance.

The resistance lost maybe 20 people in the dreadnought attack, to take out 2000 plus enemy and a giant ship.

The ridiculous statement - saving those we love over killing the enemy, was a particularly stupid statement for two reasons 1 - It spat in the face of the heroic sacrifice Rose's sister had just made to take out a significant enemy resource. 2- War when done right is to stop the enemy from achieving their objectives by the best means, which will protect those you love.

Snoke's - I cannot be betrayed - was retarded hubris - this movie at this stage was stinking of an advert for anti-toxic masculinity. The Emperor (Presumably more powerful than Snoke otherwise he wouldn't have been in hiding) was betrayed by Vader.

This movie was all over the place, it tried to tell to many stories while, not actually going anywhere.

Silver Crusade

I'm chucking a Skinwalker - Fanglord -> Paladin - Virtuous Bravo archetype in.

Mostly finished, just needs the profile completed which should be in a few hours.

Silver Crusade

For druids and wildshape will you allow a natural weapon to have the
+1 enhancement?

Silver Crusade

Gm is Vigilante Warlock/ Divine Hunter Paladin ok?

Silver Crusade

I'm doing up a Goliath Druid... Giants vs Kaiju Pacific Rim style.
