Thank you all for the help. I was able to report my game on an event I created but never used from a few years ago. I really appreciate the help of Purple Dragon Knight and Watery Soup. I will also probably need the PbP Lodge Information.

I made some mistakes setting things up, namely deleting a post in the campaign thread that hung the game play thread. I restarted the whole thing after that. Anyway I think it is great you are pulling the tribal knowledge together.

we are in a long running campaign with GM Oxnard Kettlebeak / Nathanael Love and they posted six weeks ago that they need some time and are going to be offline for a while entirely and that they are not sure how long.

We sent him a PM and have not heard back, yet. We just wanted to ask if someone knows Oxnard / Nathanael?

We are playing together since 2018 so we definitely are not looking for a replacement as he is a great GM and we want to wait!

We just wanted to make sure everything is ok.

Sort of! If you use Oladon's AMAZING Paizo Campaign Tools, yes. Otherwise, no ([ooc]not withstanding.)

Pick the color, [color=red[ and then you type.[/color]

Also, apparently, if you create a campaign with Green in the title, all the text throughout the campaign will be green.

Red too I believe! Surprised me when I ran into it.
EDIT: for example an old game of Fugitive of the Red Planet It wasn't red when I ran it.

I only use a phone for all my PbP gaming. I do have google chrome. If I download the Chrome link for the Paizo Campaign Tools, is it automatically installed on my phone?

I did some experimentation:

I cannot get the extension to work on mobile, no. I don't think the mobile chrome app supports extensions? The only info I can find starts with "download a new browser" so.... yeah. Instructions included below if you're still interested.

And the [color=blue]color coding[/color] seems to only work (be viewable) for me when I have the extension turned on on my desktop - doesn't work on mobile either. The color in the title works either way for everything though.

Yeah, the color thing in the title isn't provided by the extension, that seems to be hard coded into the site.

Hrmm, if Starfinder ever does another playtest I'm severely tempted to make a blue skittermander (now they're becoming an always legal race) character with the forbidden word in their name and watch the chaos ensue. Short term, so it limits the amount of damage it can do, but still would be fun to try once.

Also how do you get Ewoks, the Littles, Monchichis, Snorks, Trollkins, and Gummi Bears on your avatar? I'm uh--'asking for a friend'.

Do you know if a tool, website or app exists where you can enter the scenarios, modules that a character has played and it provides the texts of the boons on the chronicle sheets?

I don't know of any such site.

But if you're asking because the text has been flattened, you can try OCR (through Adobe Acrobat or other PDF editor) and getting it back. I've never done it for Paizo PDFs but I had to do a bunch at work way back when. It was decent.

It is highly unlikely that such a resource exists. If it did, they would be getting official requests to remove it; having boon text publicly available would be seen as encouraging boon fishing.

Less of a feel bad/problem, I think, than going on an adventure where the boon is you can get a special arcane familiar... for your fighter.

Thankfully, there are boons in circulation to help that.

Before making a decision though, VC Tyranius/VO Team is it OK to advertise at Flaxseed for a player?

Do I (or you??) need to check any potential player has a PaizoCon badge before considering them?

Have the 6th player sign up on your warhorn page. If you already have a 6th there due to a no show them email paizoorgplayhq@gmail.com and explain which player needs to be removed to have the new player join.

Having the player cleared to sign up on warhorn is the validation that they have the badge.

I have a badge and would be willing to fill that spot Yours Is Mined. Not with Riltar though: he's still washing his brown pants. :)

PS: the Warhorn now has this nasty message, which wasn't there when I signed up for the other games last week "You may not sign up because you do not have permission."

@Purple Dragon Knight - would you check again please and see if you receive the same (or different) error message.
Warhorn was closed at various times during the con but we moved the PbP games to later this week and left it open specifically to allow for late changes to PbP games.

If we broke it, we need to know so we can fix it.

Works perfectly now. My face is showing, and I've added my character to the list. Thank you for fixing this!

Find the Path is my favorite lodge (not to take away from the excellence of Flaxseed, Castamir, etc.) Really happy to see this. They've been working towards being recognized as a lodge for a long time.

Ha! No I'm not a wrestling fan. I actually just picked Nagaji because it has an intelligence penalty and the bonus to str. I wanted this guy to be as dumb of a brute as possible to build in PFS.

Requesting a VO ruling with which to go forward: Can the Student of Sulunai feat apply to rerolls from shirts/folios/DM stars? On the one hand, it implies ANY reroll - but on the other hand, those are somewhat...outside the game proper.

On the one hand, I would say "no" since Promotional Accessory/GM Star rerolls are, as you say, outside of the game and different from a PC special ability or feat.

However, on the other hand, I would say "yes" since rerolls don't happen often and it's nice to go in favor of the player. I don't like to say "no" to a player.

I say, Let them have the bonus to the reroll!

I want to apologise for abruptly disappearing a few months ago. I had some mental health stuff come up and the PbP stuff had to give.

If anyone has a spot in an upcoming game for Kitajo (level 10 u.monk) or Mathos (level 7 inquisitor) please keep me in mind.

Quick Seeker question (since I finally have a character reaching that point). I'm confused about this text from the Guide:

Does this mean once characters reach 33 XP, the *only* way they can advance is to first play one of the three Seeker story arcs? Or are those just options? (for example, could a character jump from 32 XP to 35 XP through AP or module credit for example, and keep going without having played a Seeker story at all?)

"Characters that are 12th level and higher can also

play higher-level scenarios, modules, and sanctioned
Adventure Paths to reach levels higher than 13."

Seems like that would indicate that there are other options to advance, and the part about being "offered an opportunity" to do a Seeker arc makes Seeker arcs seem optional, too.

Seeker arcs are optional, not required. Your character can play sanctioned modules without ever playing an arc.
