Not so much a pazio site problem but another.
I'm having problems with getting into RPGGeek where I'm having a game there but since I can't log in. I can't get any word to the players there.
The site either freezes or takes too long to load.
Anybody else having problems with that site?
Will appreciate any help from fellow users there.
Hi nightdeath, currently I'm able to reach it just fine but I have had some issues with getting update notifications on some threads (don't know if that might be related to your issue). If you can send me the link to your game, I can leave a message there for you...

Hey Otha, another player PMed me and helped me resolve the issue.
Something to do with data traffic being mixed. Resetting my router did the trick.
Thank you for the response and offer.

Even with the PbP Multitables, a time/day conversion wasn't universally agreed upon. Even as a passionate PbP player I wouldn't touch Bonekeep as a PbP, part of the challenges is the 'under the pump pressure' the thing presents, and being able to take 20 minutes in real time to work out what you want to do is not an option when playing 'live', it would trivialise the adventure.
That's silly. All 1E mods, scenarios and specials should be opened for PbP play at this point. There's really no point letting all that creativity from all these authors go to waste.
But then again, PFS credit for all things 1E is becoming much less of an incentive than it already was for me to join games at this point...
I mean, anyone can play Bonekeep for no credit in PbP.

Exactly! running a bunch of 'unsanctioned' scenarios in PbP is becoming increasingly appealing, as the 'mental block' of only running things for credit is becoming thinner and thinner for many 1E fans...

Well ... I'm sort of looking for my fifth star so I'd be okay with running stuff pbp.

As hinted at already Bonekeep is meant to be a challenging series and much of that challenge is trying to finish within a set time period. I had hoped they would find a way to compensate for that.
But we do this for Specials already. Look at the current run of Blood Under Absalom for Gameday X. There's a schedule of days based on how many minutes are allotted for each Act. If Bonekeep is supposed to be completed in 4 hours, just do the math and set a finish-by date.
And it could even be run faster via PBD given the pace of play in that venue.

I've definitely considered doing an "Unhinged Society" before. Play through PFS Scenarios just for fun and no credit. Ignore the additional content guidelines so everyone is a painter wizard drow, etc.

Unfortunately PbP still has a set of games that absolutely cannot be run and the Bonekeep series is still one of the due to the reasons mentioned above. We have submitted several plans with timers and timelines. All of which have received the understandable no, which makes sense once you have run and/or played the series.

Indeed, there are more than just specials now that count towards those requirements. Org Play has opened a small list if scenarios which can qualify towards the 5th star, nova, and / or glyph.

I don't use Twitter, so I can't comment on that particular link, but I can tell you that yes, that AP has been sanctioned.

The variable rewards system is genius. Thank you PFS sanctioning team!
Edit: to any GM willing to run this, I find myself suddenly available as a player... :P

Gosh, kind of excited, although the sanctioning document is all about items rather than any nice boons.
And I note it is campaign mode only, which makes sense given you end up with mythic-out-the-ears.,

Playing the video game now... it would be interesting to play through the original version and try to spot the differences! :)

Tried running it 5 times.
Only 1 success but it wasn't sanctioned then. and on average mostly book 2.

No worries; running APs via PbP is harder than it looks, and you're far from the only one who's run afoul of that.

And that one is especially harder having to learn all those Mythic rules!

I'm in a WotR pbp that's in Book 4 now, and started in 2013. None of the original PCs are still playing.

I'm in Shacked City AP that started close on 6 years ago. Still the same core of players, though the GM did start us heavy in characters in the expectation of a bit of a drop off. Up to chapter 11 now and getting close to the end I expect (given we are like level 17).
Certainly I'm looking at the things GM Rutseg did at the start of that (limited sources, competitive entry, enlarged team) which helped get early buy-in and focus.
What does WotR go up to? Level 20?
Lady Ladile
^I believe Wrath does go up to Level 20 and several Mythic tiers by the time it's all said and done.
For a Campaign Mode PbP run I have to agree that it would probably be best to, at the very least, cut way back on the Mythic stuff to make combats less of a headache. I probably wouldn't completely excise it since Mythic is understandably part of the draw for some players, but I do think it would flow better as a Mythic-Lite game.
I'm sure there are probably resources over in WotR's specific forum from GMs who have reworked it to have less/no Mythic aspects.
Ansha Saeralyan
WotR's books have a brief section at the beginning of each that talks about how to convert them to non-mythic, and also point you to the WotR subforum here on the Paizo boards, yes.

I’m in a Reign of Winter AP PBP that started a little over 4 years ago…we’re on our third GM but there are still 4 of us that have been playing since day one…we recently started book 4…
I think I’d be interested in playing WotR, Mythic or not. I’ve never played with Mythic before so I’m sure I wouldn’t miss it…

Anyone else have something happen to their PbP gameplay thread so that some posts just go missing? In my recent Rebel's Ransom CORE the last finale post is ... nowhere to be found. And I distinctively remember writing a long post and sending it. Seeing it's there, and then concluded.
And no player began to question about a debrief. Am I imagining things?

My guess would be that you hit preview instead of submit, and then saw the post there (don't ask how I know about doing that... :) ). However, it does occasionally happen the website just acts really weird. That's usually right after an update.

Did sanctioning change? So now credit doesn't HAVE to go to a PC of the level of the AP book? ie so the first book credit could go to a 12th level PC?

I was looking through the remaining PFS1 scenarios that I haven't played or GM'd. I probably don't have the time/interest/energy to do all of them in either format, so I was wondering which among the list people would most recommend as being high quality/worth doing.
Standalone Scenarios List:
PFS1 3-24 The Golden Serpent
PFS1 6-08 The Seagang Expedition
PFS1 6-17 Fires of Karamoss
PFS1 7-21 The Sun Orchid Scheme
PFS1 7-23 Abducted In Aether
PFS1 7-24 Dead Man's Debt
PFS1 7-27 Beyond Azlant Ridge
PFS1 8-13 What Sleeps in Stone
PFS1 8-23 Graves of Crystalmaw Pass
PFS1 9-12 Shrine of the Sacred Tempest
PFS1 10-02 Bones of Biting Ants
PFS1 10-11 The Hao Jin Heirophant
PFS1 10-16 What the Helms Hide
PFS1 10-19 Corpses in Kalsgard
PFS1 10-21 Slaver's End
Series List:
City of Strangers (Season 1)
All for Immortality (Season 7)
Passing the Torch (Season 10)
Scenarios I'm interested in doing for character/story/faction reasons (but should ask about anyway):
PFS1 9-23 The Ghol-Gan Heresy
PFS1 10-08 What Prestige is Worth
PFS1 10-09 The Rasping Rebirth
PFS1 10-18 The Daughter's Due

All for Immortality (Season 7)
I did All for Immortality (hard mode) with the same group for all three parts. There were actually some really challenging sections and some really interesting ones as well. Full disclosure: Despite having a ridiculous party that could stomp most things, we actually wiped in the potentially last encounter of part 3. If we had a healer of any kind, we probably would have been fine, but man, what an encounter that was.
EbonFist
Most of the ones on your list to do are also on my list to do.
I'll say both PFS1 7-24 Dead Man's Debt and PFS1 10-02 Bones of Biting Ants were pretty good.

I've played 10-11. It was a fun scenario that had a little bit of everything.
I've played and GMed 10-16. It's a repeatable, and I'm not a big fan of repeatables, but it is one that I keep in my bag so I can GM on short notice if I need to.
I've GMed 10-18, I think it's great. I'm a very big fan of Shadow Plane stuff, and there's an NPC in there that people seem to really love.
I've played 10-21. It was rather meh, but does have a storyline that continues into PFS2. That may or may not be a plus for you.
