One thing I noticed is that clearing the cookies did not work for until I opened My Profile or Private Messages or one of the other pages that require a log in. After that I was able to see my campaign page in all it's glory. Coincidence? I've done it three times now (on different browsers) and each time that did the trick.

@Tyranius - what is the current lag-time on games reported via the online lodge reporting site, and them making it to our official sessions list at the moment?

I reported a game (#1654) a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't appear to have appeared yet. To be fair, I did mess up a couple of the fields. Badly.

Might not be the right place to ask, but-- is February still when new boons for OSP come out?

So if I want to GM a game that qualifies for Vanara sheet if I haven't yet I would need to start (but not finish) prior to 31 January correct?

I've got a character who has the boon for the Nightmare dragonette familiar (9-17 Oath of the Overwatched), and I'm trying to figure out the stats for the familiar. The character is currently Level 7.

Has anyone actually worked out the stats and capabilities of the tiny nightmare dragon? Can it actually speak to other characters in the party for instance?

Quick PFS question. I have a boon for a koblod. Does that open all of the kobold racial feats and traits? And if there is a limited list, where do I find that?

You can find a list of additional resources here. If the feat or trait you want is listed as a legal source there, having a boon that gives you access to kobolds as a legal race should give you access to legal options there, I believe, unless the boon specifies something else. I could be wrong in that though.

From what I understand most missions do not have pregens of their own. A player can always bring a level-appropriate pregen of one of the iconic characters. If you can't find a fourth player, the GM brings in a pregen as a GMPC.

Oh I think I miss that Outpost IV tables are open for recruitment.

While that article references lessons learned from PFS (1st Edition), it seems to only apply to PFS (2nd Edition) and SFS. Am I misreading something?

It was clarified to apply to all campaigns.

Please forgive my uncommonly long hiatus from so many games; chalk it down to a medical experiment. I understand my situation a bit better now, inconvenient and undesired as that turns out to be (no, it's nothing "serious", just quite unpreferred), so I should be able to participate as I was again.

Go to Online Campaigns -> Play by Post menu, click the ∅ icon to hide.

If you find the game in the Play-by-Post forum list, there's an icon to the far right you can use to hide it (Ø). If you make a post in Gameplay first, it will be sure to appear near the top and be easy to find.

Sorry, I haven't ever run a Scenario as old as the one I picked for Outpost IV- can anyone answer a question?

Am I supposed to still give the player's the Faction leader blurbs?

I know there's the document which explains the updated 2nd Prestige goal, but I can't remember if these are still supposed to be read/typed.

@Oxnard: I think it’s at your discretion...I’ve seen some GMs keep it for flavor while using the updated 2nd prestige goal doc and others not...

@Oxnard: They are no longer required but usually at least one of them ends up linked to the new secondary success conditions. I tend to give them out unless they will cause problems in the group.

Each scenario I read them and decide which ones should be given out.

Agreed. I would read through the success conditions for the older scenarios and base it around that. It can add a little more roleplay for players to hunt for objects or pass a secret message, but overall most of the time they won't be used.

I tend to skip them unless they are actively adding something fun to the scenario, as a lot of them lead players towards cross purposes.

They also lead to players ignoring the actual mission and disrupting gameplay checking every new location for their faction mission.

Great news everyone! PbP games are going to be incorporated into PaizoCon Online 2021!!!

The VO team is working on the scenario listing with the PaizoCon Committee but for now what you will need to do is read over the Blog for PaizoCon.

There is not a radial to distinguish PbP within the form so at the end of the questionnaire, underneath additional comments, you need to type in that you are a Play-by-Post GM underneath the question Any other items you would like the organizing committee to consider in reviewing your application?

So... how does this work in practice?

-Will we be raising which scenarios we wish to run or will they be allocated?

-The con runs for four days, as we know, a PbP table takes on average 5-6 weeks. How will this work?

-Per the last point, you GM FOUR sessions you get a free badge, are we really going to be required to run four simultaneous tables in order to meet this? Seems like a lot more pound-for-pound effort than via F2F or VTT.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fully into this one - I'll get my Outpost tables cleaned off then keep bandwidth free - just want to be super clear what the go is.

Still working through some of the backend but I will try to answer your questions as best as possible.

1. The online VO team is building a list of scenarios to provide to the Committee on what will be ran.

2. While the con itself only last 4 days and PbP takes 5-6 weeks. In practice we would start at the same time as the rest of the Con. The reporting event number would then either stay open or a separate one would be created for PbP until our tables are completed.

3. Yes 4 tables would indeed get the free badge. I understand this is a lot more backend for a PbP GM and I do not expect nor wish any to try and push that if you can't handle it. This is PbP getting its foot in the door and we need to make a good impression. If you are looking to go after the free badge you may need to mix and match VTT and PbP.

The reporting part was a concern - but if we have that flexibility in the reporting horizon then it should all be very manageable.

I'm hoping this opens the door to PbP being included in more cons going forward - I was wondering how come we can't just add PbP to our other VTT based cons that have been running. I've run a whole bunch of online cons, and have more coming up, can we add PbP to these in future?

We can talk about some of these with the VTT side but generally we split our efforts. While the VTT side of the house is quick and the con lasts a weekend the PbP VO team has our organizers working, reporting, planning and organizing the PbP Cons nearly 60% of the year with three cons at 10 weeks each.

This is already certainly far more back end log than most Cons but, we will take things one step at a time.
