The Avalon Chronicles

Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

I turn it on and off at will and also....

I could walk through the wall anyway....

And if you think your defenses are superior to Ananda 's....

Should I call you Johnny or Chaos?

For one the defenses are Ananda's I added a few things on top of it but mostly it's Ananda's

I'm sorry. Leave it out somewhere dry for a bit and you'll be fine.

That's both funny and sad at the same time.
I guess I know to be careful on the boards from now on. XD

Wouldn't You like to Know?

Sorry to inturrpt but I must speak with Dave

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

You can do that, but remember, Tybs doesn't like you. ;)

Mask AKA deathkeeper, I just used that alt PC image for a teacher summation, knowing how much you lurk on the boards you can not see how you missed it, but more than happy to give you the benefit of the doubt,

The reason I ask is the fact its the perfect alt PC image for a gramiton cleric, i know i looked for others, so its the kind of one thats needed for my submation,
so could you say please change the alt image for the gentlemen thanks.

Cap

Capt. No disrespect intended but I had this image as the gentleman's image first. He had this image since Carl was stuck in his black hole

The gentleman was going to assist with Carl's escape until you retconed Carl not needing help.

I move that in the interest of keeping things fair, since you both want the image and I am going to guess that neither of you will be happy if the other gets it, I think you should both pick a new image. You both may not be happy with this, but both of you will at least feel evenly about it.

This does sound like the most fair way to do this.

I find it quite amusing that he complains about a shapeshifter having the face he wants :)

Or flip a 'coin' in public and let Fate decide.

No disrespect taken and I hope none taken when I say,
The gents as one post, the one just now, and going to was not done, Alt images can be changed at a click, I myself don't lurk on other players alt pages, just don't have the time,
so my point is I posted on the board 1st, also, as its perfect and the only one that firs Royston,

It's just good gaming to let other played who have offered up pcs to have what they put up with out trying to nap it after. Not saying you are just seems any one of a number of alt images can fit the gent,

It was posted by Lyn the school needs an unarmed combat teacher, I'm offering up Royston for that post, as he would be good a it I think.

I have just the two PCs and was hoping to help out, with a simple teacher PC
Saying all that Lyns yet to ok the whole idea, so the alt image may be free if she says no.

As it stand I'm still going to use that alt image as no other fits my PC

So your call.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Dami, that might be a way but it also leaves one person feeling like they lost. This way both people walk away on even ground. :)

This image doesn't have the same noble air as the other but here it is

Edit
Thanks deathkeeper for understanding its much appreciated

As long as you don't attack it'll be fine

DC23: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 dammit, again?!
1d100 + 2 ⇒ (69) + 2 = 71 dead.

Why can't I make the damn check?! XD

So I'm talking with Dom about how I don't think a birth control amulet would work for Anahita because she's the Champion of Life.

This is when I realize that Lamastu, the demon goddess 'Mother of Monsters' is a failed Champion of Life!

No I meant me not my character, I fell asleep shortly after posting that

...

DB3 what do you mean by failed?

Please remind me who all was involved in collecting the bits of wreckage from the life pod, as well as who may have touched the stasis pod directly.

Carl, was the wreckage put in stasis of some kind or was it simply frozen? How long would it have been on your ship before being put in stasis/ frozen, or was it canned and frozen/put in stasis before being placed in your hold?

I realize I could simply go back through the posts, but I am hoping I can get the answers without doing that.

I think I touched stuff but I can't remember, I was there and I'm immune to disease (including magical diseases) but I am aware some things bypas, and that sometimes plot is one of those things

I mean one that failed so horribly at their goal that they became twisted, horrid, beings.

from the morally neutral stances of the patrons I would call her a rousing success (in a gone horribly right kind of way)

I went to help Carl instead of the sick pod chick so I didn't touch anything and I don't think I was onboard while the pod was either.

I do find it interesting that raise dead/resuruction/true rez require the target to accept coming back, thus makeing it impossible for you to use such to torture someone to death several times
But create undead has no such problems

create undead does not return a soul.

sentient undead are new creatures.

oh. do they still have the same information, as in if the reason you were torturing the hypothetical person was to get info would the undead have that information

No worries mate.

Technicly, until Ryuzo is asked to do so In character, the job is still open.

Also, I think Casseus could benefit from gun-kata training.
Might be the thing he needs for some character development.

Lyn ok'd a Zen Gunslinger archtype I did for her Game of Chance PBP.
If you'd like to see it...
My character in that game is getalted gunslinger (pistolero)/Monk (zen gunslinger) 3. He's pretty cool...

icehawk333 wrote:

I thought the reason Pharasma hated undead so much was because it trapped the soul in the body instead of allowing it to move on (and into her domain for sorting)?

I could be wrong of course, and I'm sure there's quite a few different interpretations of it. A Lich, for example, and a Vampire, should generally still be the same creature.

sentient undead have a blurry knowledge of their previous life.

non-sentient undead have no knowledge of anything.
and besides, no torture is needed, speak with dead forces the body to tell the truth.
(liches are odd, of course. vampires are vague as to weather or not the soul is kept.)

No, I don't think so. Even speak with dead doesn't technicly talk to the soul it asks questions the body observed, and they're usualy pretty vague answers. If you had a body/corpse or undead (non-sentient) and cast certain divinations on it, you'd learn somethings, perhaps.

vampire is odd, and differs from setting to setting.

yes, lich is an exception.
no, it doesn't. a creature can be raised as an undead long, long after it died and moved on.
