Is everyone post expedition ready to reenter the world?
Been about nine hours since we got back.
Tybalt Baneko
And is anyone gonna tell Vakkler about the inside-outedness of the world?
icehawk333
Geez....
How is fear the most powerful patron?
That doesn't even make sense.
Time gets the most represtation, having an entire detention of existence to itself.
That's like giving a dimension of space to a Parton, like length or hight.
In fact, if it just decided to stop working, all other patrons would die instantly, as there would be no more anything- time, would become a fixed point, so nothing ever happens.
Kobold Catgirl
Not there for the firebirds, but I was there for the inversion. Vakkler was and is very unhappy, and the inversion is my in-character reason for his recent 'sabbaticals'. Kobolds are an evil race at heart, and not all handled the new situation at all well. Vakkler was doing his best to quell their riots.
I may have just made that up on the spot, but it might make a bit more sense and justify how he knows absolutely nothing about what's going on. ;D

Fear thinks (or claims, anyways) that he's the most powerful. I very rarely have my characters argue for what I personally believe, because that's a dastardly trap I used to fall for quite a bit. Dragonborn and Lynora can tell you that much. ;D

Except of course there /is/ no length or height or width, at least not in the true sense. Labels that we give them to make sense of the universe.
But mostly, just because someone says something in game, doesn't make it automatically true. :)
Also... maybe it's because Fear affects even the other patrons. I'm sure they can feel Fear.
Tybalt Baneko
Peoples fears can destroy them from the inside.
Even the patrons are afraid of things.
Anything worth the patrons caring about can fear.
And beside, I'm sure most of the patrons consider themsel
Fear the Mouse
That pretty much is his logic. He acts like he's invincible because he's half of the mortals' instincts. In his mind, Flight will never leave the minds of his enemies as an option, so they can never truly beat him.
His mindset is a bit more complicated than that, of course. With any luck, I'll get the opportunity to show it off. ;D
Tybalt Baneko
Ironically, (and if I dropped a couple tens of IQ points, I'd actually believe this) since fear's a mouse and I'm a cat, fear might be afraid of me. :D

*holes up in corner from sheer amount of worry*You can kill the Patron's sentience and power without ending the concept.
Balance is dead, I believe, killed by Madness.
Sorta.

"Pride goeth before the fall." and all that.
I'm going to have to save Pride aren't I.... Brilliant
:)
You can't.
You just have to sit back and watch.>_<
I'm starting to wonder if this game is a hazard to my health.
How can any game make me so worried? It shouldn't! It really shouldn't!
Lyere
Lyn, did you get my PM earlier?

...
Now that i think about it, it's nothing compared to those two times-
One when playing a game on my ds, where the final boss of the game did almost nothing every round, but couldn't seem to be hit, ever. I had a one hit ko move that had a very small chance of hitting, my only hope, i used it again and again, but never hit, getting my hopes up every time i used the move, only to have it ripped away as it missed.
Marks the first time i ever felt dread.
And my first two read throughs of slightly damned.

Sakido....

Wait, is the game ending?
Well everything does eventually, but not for a very long time I hope. It's more that it goes in chapters and the current story has ice nervous, but its rare for a chapter to end as bleakly as he was envisioning.

I don't imagine Avalon ending for years yet. Though, as all things do, it will end.

Ice, dude, seriously, calm yourself, have some yummy food, take a nice nap, roll around in pudding, anything to just chill out.
No game, ever, should make you sick. If it does, you should probably seek professional help.
I obsess over games so much that getting sick when I'm worried is so, so very common.
When something truly captures me, like this game, the attention I'll give it is unhealthy... But when I'm not like this, I'm at near euphoric levels of excitement.| icehawk333 |
Here's how I know I'm a Furry: I actually find Marcell's doggy-girl picture kinda hot. XD
Not that there's anything wrong with it, of course, different strokes and all.
Honestly, i don't tell anyone, but i find most anything that isn't human attractive.
I am also obsessed with trasformation.

Most anything living.
And for the transformation thing, yes. i found a picture of someone turning into a train.I found it attractive.
Extra points for it being involuntary.

SOOOOOOOO
It's officially Sept 14th, which is like pretty much one of the best days of the year, right up there with Halloween and Christmas.
See, 32 years ago, the mold was broken. Tis entirely possible that in all this time, nobody has reached the same level of awesome. Some may come close, but most fall way, way short.
My reputation proceeds me, like thunder proceeds lightning.
I once parallel parked a train.
I've won the lifetime achievement award, twice.
I never wear a watch, because time is always on my side.
Sharks have a week dedicated to me.
I once won a fist fight, using only my beard.
I am The Most Awesome Man in the world, and today is my birthday.
