You also have to remember that alot of these kids have grown up under extreme circumstances, and are either used to killing (Renkai), or are in other ways reliant on their 'badass' image to get them through life - even if it's a bit of a self-deception)

It's not his ship that is the potential problem. If he gets caught taking tourists up there he's going to get into trouble. Detentions all around. I just wanted to know if anyone knew before he went. Answer appears to be no. So if he gets caught during or after he gets in trouble. That's all....it's no fun if nobody ever gets detention. :P

Personally, I don't take the stats to mean more than the raw representation of an attribute. After all, who's better off? Wisdom 10 person with 15 levels of experience, or wisdom 30 person with 1 level?

Don't forget- sometimes, your characters know more then you do, and the new meta game knowledge is simple logic you, but both the charecter, would overlook.But no. Marcell is unwise, inexperienced, and a lv 1 animal.

I tend to think of Wisdom as Awareness of Other. Wisdom is how aware of other things/people/situations/emotions/etc. It has nothing to do how Wise you are, ne? Might also include Awareness of Conscious Self, but I tend to think that also belongs somewhat to Charisma. This is not an invitation to debate, just pointing out that Wisdom doesn't, oddly, mean wisdom.

I would say it, Depends what race your PC is, some racers are mature way before 16' but in defiance of Amber and Opel, if your playing Fey like Opel and Amber, well, show me a shy and inhibited fey and ill show you a Disney Character smolts up with cheese to the hilt, Not the darker true fey from their origins in eaten Europe, like Amber and Opel.

If, by pop, you mean an inquiry into the mind of Amber and Opal, yes. Your two characters (while new to me as a player) did strike me as part of the over confident and fearless sorts, but, time will tell.
It was more towards all the, as Fireclaw seemed to nail it well, the 'anime' mentality. Tons of bad assed being displayed left and right (some overwhelmingly so), while my desire for some more 'humanity' to be displayed isn't as noticeable. Or maybe I just don't see it while reading.
As for my two chars, they both have massive fears and the like, and I do feel have shown some wide range of emotions (Anahita less than Tryko'Sam due to her upbringing and nature), but honestly, there haven't (yet) been too many situations to demonstrate their non-adventurer/heroic sides, yet. Perhaps in time. Some Bradley moments with Anahita, I think... Showing off her inability to grasp certain concepts. Along with a few other moments.

I think the anime thing explains it perfectly though. Tons of protagonist never say die types. After all, in anime, you /can/ be an island and get ahead, it is your destiny! Heh.
I grew up reading Grim Brothers fairy tales, incidentally, Wombat, so the richer the justice and the balance due to choices characters made, the lovelier the story. Disney ruined the original tales for mass consumption. Humph!

Dami, I actually think that you see a lot of shyness and neuroses present in the students. And a lot of posturing to try and hide it. A similar dynamic to what often takes place on playgrounds....
Although, yeah, there's some genre issues there...superheroes and anime characters are usually more on the brash side...at least some of the time.
Capt, hey eastern Europe has no monopoly on either folk tales or fey. Draw your sources more widely. :)
My favorites actually come from areas further east than you're thinking of or further west. Russia, Japan, and Ireland. Not that I'm above using stuff from the brothers Grimm (or ideally the older and more highly disturbing versions). But in spite of reading the non-disneyfied Grimm's fairy tales as a young child, I was raised with more of the Irish folk traditions, so the Germanic ones don't resonate as well with me. I was taught to be afraid of different things that go bump in the night. ;P
Also, FYI, I'm still trying to catch up on the last few days of gameplay and PMs, so please be patient with me. If it seems like I've dropped a few balls, well, I probably have, but I'm working on picking them up. :)

I didn't say wouldn't, i said would find it difficult. it's not too complicated....
Adon basically, back when he was bleeding, willed himself to stop bleeding, and a degree of his anti-energy was used as a feild to stop the energy of his blood, causing it to form a layer around his skin and prevent him from bleeding out. Basically, a really low power force-feild.
The Nantes could work, but would find it difficult, due to a lot of thier energy output being negated. This isn't any type of problem for a normal sized creature, becaus ether have a lot more energy, and any negated energy wouldn't be a big deal for them.
Ok, i lied. It's kinda complicated.
But it hasn't stopped Nantes from working in the game yet, so that's not a thing yet.

Pretty sure we've got at least one character here who could manifest powers at a modified spell level of 17 (Ryleh).

Kezzin: usually quiet, not a little introverted, and a touch surly at times.
Wyrd: Temper about three miles wide, avoids most people as a result.
Ma'am not yet appearing in this film: Shy, quiet, wounded, a little goth, more than a little depressed, a hell of a lot traumatized; in short, a hot mess.

Lim-Môr is okay with people and gets along with people he's dragged into talking with.
Nero is an ass that hates everyone and only deems to get along with people he can get something from.
Giancarlo is nice to everyone that is nice to other people.

I know I personally enjoy having Vakkler figuratively rip those guys a new one. Most of these "badasses" are pretty darn unimpressive in a school founded by an epic cardcaster, a magic space gunslinger, and a freakin' dragon.
It is a challenge to keep Vakkler's core personality present beneath it all, though. He goes between being the Snape and the Worf, depending on who he's talking to.
