The Avalon Chronicles

Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

He's still talking to settro.

I'm not quite sure what your prior experience with our Headmaster has been, KC, but, sometimes it takes a good OOC week or more to get his response. ;)

Or nagging ... gentle, firm, nagging. :D

I'm trying to figure out if Jiminy knows about Carl's plan to take people up for a tour of the firebird sun....if he knows he would try to head this off at the pass, but if he doesn't know...well, there will be quite a scene. It's all IC, actions have consequences, that sort of thing. I just want to be sure I'm clear on who knows what before I start having my characters react.

Well, Vakkler's escorted a good many pesky whippersnappers to the Headmaster in his day, and he's never been kept waiting! He's kind of a big deal, y'know!

lynora wrote:
Also, Carl, has any of this let's bring people up to the sun thing been communicated over the radio? Jiminy would nix this so fast if he knew. It's crazy disrespectful to the people who are losing their home and would cause some pretty big repurcussions IC. So I definitely want to know who knows.

As its 11pm stat of lunch think I my wind back the move to the ship, so others can see Longs fly in and Arthur would land.

As yet no knows hes asked others to fly up, Carl just thinks its would be nice to show hes new Roomy and her mates the sun before it gos POP.

hes only told Tinman hes bringing some bringing some guests to the Ship

Feeling sick right now. Might feel better tomorrow.

Hello. I'm Melody Waverider. I would first like to apologize for the accommodations Jiminy and i worked very hard to make you as comfortable as possible. You must really be someone very special to him. I mean all the effort he goes through just for you.

Mel turns back to the controls. taking off

Carl..This is Mel. VIP guest is aboard. heading down. see you on the ground.

and we are off. Mel takes off and starts her final decent for the morning.

Once in flight. do you like music? if so do have any favorite kind?
Mel is trying her best to make her guest as comfortable as possible.

"Do you honestly expect me to listen to this inane prattling? As if being manhandled onto this ship and losing my home aren't enough indignities," the woman said haughtily, glaring at Jiminy.

"I expect you to sit down and shut up, Apolla," Jiminy growled. "I'm already treating you to a good deal more courtesy than you deserve. Don't think I've forgotten how you treated Fi."

He turned to Mel. "I know you mean well, Melody. There's more history here than I have time to explain. Don't take anything she says personally. She hates everyone."

One word, while in a vacuum:

"airlock"

Oh, and sorry to hear that. Hope you do feel better tomorrow!

Hence the conditional requirement of a vacuum!

Much better this way, trust me, spacing annoying people, huge profit and does wonders for your space pirate cred.

Male Weremonkey Rogue/Ranger/Trickster

I am curious how tossing somebody outta an airlock increases ones monetary situation, unless you just mean its a huge profit insomuch as that annoyance is no longer around.

Michael/Kitty, Ace and Ginny walked back into Kitty's room, but nothing was said by Ace as I wasn't sure where in their convo we entered.

Profit isn't always about money!

I'm sure there are plenty of people who would pay to see this MG - it's all about marketing.

Re: Michael/Kitty: they were having a bit of a tender moment I believe, which is why Repp went over to talk to Lewis instead. :)

DB3's computer situation is... not ideal, so he can take some time once in a while - I've heard him posting from a Wii and 3DS before... and those are difficult to find old posts and type, etc.

Just a gentle reminder if you feel you've been forgotten, and a link to the post maybe, helps him along. :)

My intention was more of a 'patio' type space attached and just outside the cafeteria. It's probably a little too close to the gardens for most students to enjoy sitting there - cowards I say! The gardens only want to eat you if you aren't respectful.

This works too.

So, patio (roof less) with Garden view and easy access. Adjusting reality in my mind.

Sustained some dex and str damage from the restrictions of burns.

Burns are bad enough to leave scars, and cover most of his hands, arms and neck.

It would appear your diagnosis and the good Doctor's vary somewhat. Do you want Adon injured for your story, or is it a lack of shared facts that's causing the misunderstanding?

In short, who's version is correct? I'd assume the player's, but... Don't like assuming.

Please resolve and advise?

Thanks.

Story, and because my entire body was wounded, and he would have to cauterize a lot of it very , very fast- no time for being too careful, just time to make sure i don't bleed out.

I think he underestimated the severity of having a lot of your skin peeled off.

Also, he's at about 30 hp, mostly due to blood loss. This wouldn't be visible, however.

Jut now saw this.

Stettro is waiting on a post.

What probably happened, given the story thus far - with the immediate danger to the student dealt with - the Doctor was called away on an emergency (triage being what it is) before finishing the treatment of the burns via nanites (especially since most of the scrolls/material components were destoryed yesterday). Adon awoke from his sedation, a bit confused and dazed, but not wanting to be in the infirmary any more. So he left.

Does this sound accurate?

That, and the Nantes would find him difficult to heal (explanation on that to come), and yes, he wants to leave, he's quite frustrated.

What is it about the sixteen "year olds" that make them so cheeky in this game so far? Kind of curious why shy and inhibited isn't more common... As a role playing personality.

Seems like everyone and their mother are confident and assured bad asses willing to give just anyone lip. Is that fun for folks?

Mostly curious. It's kind of idle for me right now.

Because shy and inhibited restricts role play as the character does not approach or interact much.

I have actively avoided that personality because of this.

No. It doesn't.

You could very easily be the strongest guy in school and still be shy and evasive.

Vai is/was shy, depending on her mood and what sets her off. Midori can also be fairly withdrawn - though that's more from politeness than any actual shyness on her part.

Ehos plays the part of confident and assured well, but he's got his own issues.

Ardiente's a drama student! He's working through his own issues, and maybe one day he'll be back to that flamboyant over-actor he was was he came to the school! ;D Posting with Vai shortly btw!

Hmmm, I don't quite agree with the statement, especially if done properly. Plus, with the over confident and 'aggressive' PCs we do have, it wouldn't be long before interactions happened, no?

I'm just amazed at the sheer lack of "appropriate" responses out supposed "sixteen year olds" have at times so far. Could just be my own perceptions, since I'm not actually the player of these other characters.

Fearless does seem a common theme in many of them though. Complete fearlessness.

Take that white mouse!

David - in the scope of this game: casting 8th level spells is kinda meh. Y'know? At least, compared to some of the teachers.

Pretty sure we've got at least one character here who could manifest powers at a modified spell level of 17 (Ryleh).

Is that a Not so veiled pop at Amber and Opel there mummykins,

I would say it, Depends what race your PC is, some racers are mature way before 16' but in defiance of Amber and Opel, if your playing Fey like Opel and Amber, well, show me a shy and inhibited fey and ill show you a Disney Character smolts up with cheese to the hilt, Not the darker true fey from their origins in eaten Europe, like Amber and Opel.

I avoided the "fearless" thing in everyone but roel, who has nothing to fear, as he doesn't feel pain. Note that, i will be paying this up- it's important, he can't tell how wounded he is, or things like that. No nerves. Though, one thing does cause him "pain" but no telling.

Settro- funny, during the dark vai incedent, he walled himself and some kids away in a corner.
