Also both my kids have Hand, Foot and Mouth. Thanks to other parents who decided that two hours of quiet time for them was worth infecting like 20 other kids. You know because open sores, red splotches and stuff are an indication that everything is NORMAL with a kid.
Ugh. For parents who haven't had their kids infected with it all I can say is its not fun trying to explain to a 3 yr old why he has a fever, and itches from his head to his toes.
Yup, nothing irritates me more than the ones who send their kids to infect everyone else.
Yeah, me too. My poor kids missed out on a weekly event we take them too. But the lady, whose kids caused this ruckus and refuses to believe the CDC posting over her doctors claims, tried to take her kidsto the same event and was turned away. Because her kids were in the highly contagious stage like mine are. Just ridiculous.
Me: Played subnautica with kids, read books, had ice cream and let them crash my underwater sub into my base and they got to laugh as dad tried to frantically fix a flooding base. They also got to hatch fish eggs and created massive (fake) aquarium's and their own rooms in said Subnautica underwater bases. There was TV also, since we are sadly stuck at home.
11/10 fun times were had, disappoints only in itch skin, rashes and the fun things that sickness brings. Can't go anywhere with the kiddos for another 8-10 days. Thats how much longer they could be highly contagious. Sucks for them. :/ our oldest has to miss nearly two weeks of school and this thursday is picture day. :(
But ... Ice Cream. Fixes most things. :)

Well, its flu season apparently. I am back after suffering some ugly bedrest for two or three days. I'm not sure. just sick and resting. Ugh. Posts in the AM. After I catch up with all the games. Sorry

Happy Late holidays, was taking it easy with my hands and they feel much MUCH better now. got some of the bandages off yesterday, so nice to be able to flex my fingers.
Also, Werebear's are tough as nails. The wolves didn't stand much a chance on their own. Being in her Hybrid form gives her great DR which makes them all but just tripping annoyances. The Worgs were markedly more difficult but Aslan had this in the bag. Since I made her with the lonely warrior, no allies build.

Sorry for slow reply, I understand the feeling Mai and Liv. My RL has taken a turn with the coming of losing a good friend of mine in the next few days, months he has left. He lost his kidneys last year and due to further complications preventing a transplant he has decided to just stop dialysis and go on a final road trip / final bang instead of just muscling through procedure after procedure.
He's a hell of a guy and he will be missed when that day comes. Though he is way more positive then I am. Which just shows how petty we can be sometimes, I want to be happy he made such a tough decision but I don't want to lose another friend forever. Ya know?
Posts to resume soon. Been thinking more on how this will play out long term and I have a plan still. Just gotta get my mental / RL problems dealt with first so I can focus again.

Dealing with work and my friends who are just hearing about our friend passing. So yeah, coordinating things and working nights is taking a toll. Trying to catch up. Posts coming today.

So my Mom nearly had a heart attack, this lead to open heart surgery so I am trying to get my head on straight but I am at work as well. So its taking longer the I thought to do this.

I'm still here and I have been dying to post but life has been a serious bithc.
Work has given me no good schedule and last work cycle I was put on all of the longest, s@@&test jobs you could imagine. I literally had to choose sleep or posting an deach time I wanted ot post I fell asleep on my keyboard. It really sucked and i've been dropped/been dropping games to try and minimize my time loss.
This is one I want to continue if possible.
Aslan is still here, he's been just super busy as well.
But its up to you guys if we continue. I want to. But if your not interested anymore, which I don't blame anyone at all due to my inconsistencies, then we can move on and leave as friends hopefully.

I really like the characters here, I think its fun to play somewhat the suicide squad characters in a way, the misfits no one else would want. I have a vague idea the route we may be going but that's up to our future actions. Corerue ultimately will decide the route he is going.

Im sure how things are going with everyone. I am finally getting my life sorted, was in a major rut for awhile but it seems are looking up.
So I am pushing forward with the game. If I see no response then I will look to fresh recruitment and keep moving forward. I've definitely not been a good DM but I'm trying to get back on the right track.

Np, just hadn't heard from anyone in awhile. Like I said, no hard feelings, would totally play with everyone again no matter what. If RL has you tied up then get sorted, just like I have been trying to do. I have also been trying to be more consistent these last few days.
It doesn't make up for the last few MONTHS but I'm trying. Whatever dark rut I was in seems to be passing. Doesn't help that I am literally stuck, repeating the same cycle day in and day out with no ability to change it. At least not yet. I am making small strides but its a long way off before a real change occurs.
Looking forward to your post or whatever is the chosen aton here. Once I know who is all left I will look to recruit at least one more player or change this to a 3 person Gestalt.
Aslan is tied up with fish and game and bear problems.

Back, dealing with bears is annoying. But this time around my properties are going to be safer and a much better setup. Especially because a lot of my tenants have kids. :/ So yeah, bears and kids nope, no sir, not gonna let something bad happen. Money? feh, throws a truck at it. Get it done. Don't care, cost is pointless. DO it. Fast, now and safely.
There's a reason most of my tenants have been with me 10+ years. Because I don't mess around when it comes to them. I will spend my money, not raise rent and get s!*~ done. Period, Period, forever. Because at the end of the day/month/year(!) they pay the bills, they matter more then my bottom line, without them I'd be poor. SO yeah, money? Not a problem and it makes them all feel better.
That's about how my month has been. Working with an engineer, wildlife expert, city coordinator, trained animal control specialists (to knock out and relocate bears) and all of the above to make things legit, legal, paid for and no one can complain later. Should be back on track for regular posting.
