Such a fortuitous turn could would have been a formative event for a new company. Might have even inspired a name based off of the event.
And then they could proudly call themselves "Sons of the harpy".
And perhaps murder spear wielding hoplites with kitchen knives.
And it is a really useful turn for our archers, with the amount of snow in Ioboria I'd been figuring that cold and wind effects would be a big thing.
Also On that topic something to consider for the archers in out team.
Oh and I'd like to get started on using my alchemical crafting to turn the shafts of Ethyra's dragonbone arrows into better ones.
I'd be using the connective tissues and gristle of the dragon and/or the harpies. not under the assumption that they would provide some arcane bonus but because they happen to be available.
Durable arrows(7th down) would be the intent.
Are there any costs things you'd like me to account for in the crafting of such things?
Wallace Boyd
What checks would you like me to make for these various ideas of weather proofing gear?
Secondly assuming that Hawk returned with my purchases how much crafting material do I have to work with for making stuff?
Wallace Boyd
I believe the lizard the tiefling's are referring to is the one reclining on a cloud talking with your insane priest on the tallest tower of the ruin.
But good on you for seeing an opportunity to use your drawback.

I dunno, that show would be a bit more interesting if Murdock summoned tentacled horrors from beyond the stars.
Though I imagine doing that would make the whole "Don't kill the badguys because we are awesome like that" thing that the A-team did much harder to pull off.
Wallace Boyd
Hrmmm... that isn't far from the truth.
As it stands Rhavenna can lift a ton and a half over her head.
With magic aids though,
Large Quad+ Mule back+ ant haul+ horse shoes of burden a s a thought process.
Unmodified from your current strength this combination of items would give our rippling muscle ship the ability to lift a bit more than 12 tons over her head. Total gold cost of something like 7,000 GP to purchase items that would grant those abilities.
So say for example walking around with a fully furnished log cabin to fit a family of six on her back.

Post is up.
To be honest I'd forgotten about Tim as well.
Also, questions:
Harpy coat/cloaks/bedrolls. (We cool with just saying it happens and the war band now has enough cold weather gear for everyone?)
Durable arrows (Because we are not likely to get another dragon to convert into weapons anytime soon.)
How much gold we just made so I can know how much gold I have toward making things.
I'm mostly just looking to make some smaller magic items. Traveler's anytools for the group, Robe of rope, Perhaps some Endure elements magic items. A banner made of dragonscraps that drives away the cold (aura of endure elements vs. Cold) would be fun for Wallace to have made.
Well that plus any minor stuff (like 1000GP or less at this point) the part desires.

*considers how one would reflavor snowball and flurry of snowballs spells as red rubber balls*
Also possibly placing said spells on the cleric list.
Then I could be master of tha' balls!
Or perhaps get some fire elementals and name them Blazer, Lazer and Taser. have them throw balls made out of pitch.
Wallace Boyd
I appear to have stunned all my fellow players with Wallace's mystic revelations. I shall have to use this time to determine which of the elementals I summon will be named and in what order.
Also where to find a bulk order sale on Tar.
Wallace Boyd
So, do we detour to pursue a possibly dire, possibly part owl bear thing that might be eating unknown townsfolk right now?
Or do we do the pragmatic thing and make it somebody else's problem to deal with?
As a player I'd be quite happy to have a dire bear hat. Tim the combat Yak would wear it.
Character wise Wallace would likely be fine either way, with the amount of information he got for the damage he took Wallace is taking it as a sign that this creature is a challenge to overcome in some manner or form. Having the wisdom to avoid it is as much an answer as concocting some plan to fight it is. Assuming where a deific otherworldly abominations thought process might lie that is. who knows, perhaps the real answer that will please Wallace's god is to summon 402 bananas and kill the bear with an overdose of potassium.
Wallace Boyd
regardless of what Hawk would actually say in this instance I'm using Wallaces low opinion of the mans "hero reflex" to move the story along.
I believe the party is in need of matching bearskin belts, this sounds like an excellent excuse.

The advanced character guide came out with a bunch of updates. Lots of fixes to the various spelling mistakes and misinterpretations in the abilites.
Also to change whatever Paizo considers to be too potent for their living game.
So stuff like the Swashbucklers best abilities (parry/riposte and Precise strike) being available to be used by another classes archetype Kata master monk, Daring champion cavalier. That got changed, the epic broken Divine protction feat got fixed and several ablities got nerfs.
They changed a hefty portion of the Arcanist to actually force an arcansist player to have points in CHA.
There is a couple threads b*!$+ing about/thanking Pais for he changes.

Oh joy, an abandoned village.
Huh, I wonder if we are going to find the villagers only to discover that what we were tracking was no infact a dire bear but a dire were-bear.
And then we get bearied in a bear-alanche.

lmao. arent you optimisitic xD
So Magus Blackblade/Kensai continues to evolve for me.
I found that if you use the blackblade strike to give the blade +2 enhancement (If you arer lvl 6 Magus) that you can follow it with a Arcane Pool enhancement of +2 which allows you to add 1-2 abilities to a weapon. All of this as free actions. Follow all that with Arcane Accuracy and now you can have a +2, holy blackblade with +4< to hit as well lol. If you are a Dervish dancer it makes for a nasty round of damage against demons >:3
Wallace Boyd
Nova is the name of the game as a magus, though that is a cute trick as the effects are coming from different sources with slightly different names.
I find the option of changing the type of damage I can do a better option with the blackblade pool. Lets you jump over DR you can't penetrate and abuse monsters elemental weaknesses.
DM Corerue
Lol, I am poor at figuring out Nova tactics. THough I have heard of that before when referring to magus's. My gestalt Magus/Alchemist is going to be a blast when he gets upto speed. >:3 He's doing an alright job so far in WotR but its not the easiest build to make it work.
Identifying a demons weaknesses is rough as they have very few they aren't resistant too. However 3 attacks per round with a +2/holy blackblade helps in the kill them quickly department. ;3
