Scion (Story) You carry the legacy of a legendary warrior race. Prerequisite: You must have defeated a single challenging foe without any aid from another, or have the Chosen of a God, Avatar of the Fallen, or Last of your Line background. Benefit: As a swift action, you can declare a single combat challenge to one foe within 50 feet and in line of sight. Upon doing so, you gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against that foe as long as no one else threatens that opponent or until the single combat challenge ends. If another combatant attacks you or your foe, the challenge ends and you take a -2 penalty on attack rolls and to AC for 1 round. Though you can declare a single combat challenge at will, once you declare it on a foe you can't declare it on the same foe for another 24 hours. Goal: Defeat an appropriate number of challenging foes in single combat. These combats must not be interrupted by other creatures, and the foes must not have already been substantially injured or impaired prior to combat with you. Completion Benefit: Your bonuses for single combat increase to +2. In addition, any confirmed critical hits you make against such a foe deal an additional 1d6 points of damage. Traits:

Shorter and thicker than most lances, this +1 Greenwood lance has a full-sized shield worked into the vamplate, though it is too heavy to count as a shield for shield bash and similar maneuvers, and does not automatically grant the wielder a shield bonus to AC. However, a war lance grants the wielder and her steed (Or herself if Centaur) a +2 shield bonus to AC when the wielder is mounted. In Saddlebags:

Appearance
The perfect blend of sleekly powerful cervid and athletic yet curvaceous humanoid, Rhavenna is considered beautiful by most. The feminine yet solid frame combines the best element of both her features. A rarity even among those familiar with centaurs, Rhavenna is exotic, the last of the Dvezda, known for their glorious Brindle coats, lean lithe forms and elegantly curving horns. Her eyes, golden in color, highlight a beautiful face accentuated by markings similar to the ones found lower on her body. Her long, raven black hair adding a sense of wild freedom to her. Background Rhavenna is to the best of her knowledge, the Last of the Dvezda Centaur line. When the time of the great plague hit the marches, Rhavenna’s grandsire and both of her then grandmares were part of a small contingent that were in the Stolen Lands. Unknown to her at the time her maternal grandmere was pregnant. When their tribe fell, the survivors joined with the Nomen, banding together for survival. Their children, Rhavenna’s parents, served as scouts for their adoptive tribe, often ranging far from others, belonging but not at the same time. As she grew up, Rhavenna was told tales of the Dvezda, of their great acclaim for their speed and skill in battle. Of their importance to the entire centaur civilization, for uniting many of the tribes to take control of the eastern parts of Iobaria. She took to ranging herself, often communing with nature to the point of developing a unique, almost divine bond with the natural world, and perhaps it was this distance from others of her kind, as much as they were, that formed her open minded ideas of interacting with other races. Feeling somewhat lost among her people, she became a mercenary, her speed and skill a welcome asset despite the somewhat less than welcoming reception she often received from others.
