Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

Ebran will find his way to House Lyrandar.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Before Arriving:

Kyndril arches a brow at Essar. "Well, given that it defeated the imps, with me only minorly wounded, I'm quite happy with it. Of course, if you're willing to let your precious Karrnathi secrets get into Thrane hands, I shall be quite delighted to learn them. Maybe I'll open a school, then." He smirks, arching a brow. "Remind me why you're so proud of your country? If you all hand out state secrets like candy, surely you must find that there are very few state secrets left?"

After Arriving:

Kyndril first seeks the local Cathedral of the Silver Flame, where he will report to the highest-ranking priest about the attack in Crossroads and the Dark Flame. After reporting, he'll join a service if there is one, then he'll make his way to the House Sivis messengers' guild, to send the letter he's written to his mother.

Ah Thranian did they ever teach you history? As the style's of Karnathi swordsmenship were created during time of Karn the Conquerer himself. And since for the majority of Galifar's history Karn's have made up one fifth to one third of the army our styles of combat have seen much use outside of Karnath. They are no secret, it's simply that most Thranian's and other the of five nations are unwilling to admit to the superority of Karnathi swordsmen.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

"I'm sure." He rolls his eyes.

"House Cannith is acceptable... Though I may be a bit late, I do not know this city very well." Kyndril says, nodding slightly.

"Very well then, I shall see you all later today, good luck."

Essar went off to find the Temple of the Blood in sharn

Silver Crusade

male Human Atlanteologist 10/G.eneral O.perations D.irector 8

The train reaches Sharn, and sparks it's way into the Sharn depot. It's been a week and 3 days after the incident with the imps and their summoner, which stole a Khyber shard. Sharn. City of Towers, City of Opportunities. Also known as the City of Suckers in some circles. It was a huge city, covering the bluffs that overlooked the mouth of the dagger river.

The train came to a stop and everyone left the train, eager to begin a new life. For our heroes however, being sent to Sharn was probably best. However, the group can get easily separated and lost here. The town is at least, as big as New York City.

Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

Ebran goes to house lyrandar's enclave, announces his return and "alive" status. Inquires as to anything the house requires of him.

Male Drow Sorcerer 5

It appears Xov, Essar, Ebran, Danir, and Othan already declared actions of where they are going after the train arrives...

Silver Crusade

male Human Atlanteologist 10/G.eneral O.perations D.irector 8

Yes, they did.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

As has Kyndril. I've posted again since then, but... >_>

Essar:

You find the nearby Temple of the Blood of Vol and the people who attend it is a small congregation. The Blood of Vol isn't honored in Sharn -- you might gather -- like it is in Rekkenmark or in Korth. Still, the temple here has many more resources and are happy to see a visiting brother.

The abbot says, "Welcome brother, we are humbled by your presence. What brings you to Sharn?"

Ebran:
House Lyrandar's tower is in, as you might expect, on one of the topmost levels. It takes you three days to get there. When you get there, you see the Skyships docked on the tower before they head to their various destinations. There are a lot of travelers, and you don't know if you should go into the main entrance or through some back door. If you've been here before, it's been a long time and everything has changed by then.

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

GM:
Ah Abbot I have business to conclude in Sharn itself, just recently got out of a Brelish Prison for POWs. I believe it may be best to get acquainted over a good bottle of Karnathi wine in say your study?

Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

gm:

Ebran looks for signs indicating where people might go to look for work, and his dragonmark is partially visible. He will go to the employment office part and ask about a job, and when he speaks with someone will make note that he worked for the house some years ago and was captured and recently released.

Silver Crusade

Othan:
The nearest adventurer's guild is a place that was a Gentleman's adventurer club. People often come here to talk about their adventures, get a pint of beer, and drink themselves to death. Sometimes, there would be jobs posted. The place was rowdy.

There was a mage that playfully and mischeivously threw fire and sparks. Another had a habit of stripping down to his underwear unconsciously. When someone tells him he's out of his clothes, he would yell and put his clothes back on. There was a rogue who loved drink beer, and held her liquor with such skill that she often drank whole kegs. The fighters were equally colorful.

One would wear nothing but harness straps and a loin cloth and had long blond hair. He was also muscled. If people asked, he say he was a paladin of the Sovereign Host. Although on his chest was a distinctive cross. Another fighter was decked out in shining plate armor, and was business all the time. Finally, there were many colorful kooks. One being a mysterious wizard with seven eyes. Another was a fighter woman who dressed in a very skimpy outfit with flame red hair and a personality to boot.

Yes.

The jobs on the board seem to take place inside and outside Sharn.

Xov:
Xov, you meet your party at an undisclosed location. The woman comes over to you and shifts her shape into that of a man. "I'm Dev," he said. "You wanted to meet? You said you had something for me?"

Kyndril:
Finding the nearest Cathedral of the Silver Flame, you have entered during worship services. The parish priest asks you not to interrupt the sermon. Then the priest starts speaking a sermon on the Flame and how it purifies every living being within and guides everyone on the right path to righteousness.

What happened with talking to the House Orien Representative?

Once the train pulls into Sharn and Danir disembarks with his possessions, he hails a Skycoach and requests it to take him to the House Cannith enclave in Dragon Towers.

5 GP should cover the fair right? Its 1 sp per mile according to the Sharn book so that should be more than enough I would think

Upon reaching the enclave, Danir will presnt himself and request an audience with whoever in the house leadership is currently available at the enclave.

Spoiler:
The House Orien representative passed it on, but also gave you a free week's pass at Firelight.

The giant tower looked like it had a bull's head on the front. It rose from the ground, with eyes that arced electricity and what seemed like molten slag pouring out from vents around the tower. Smoke also vented from the bull's horns. The tower was made of a black substance: marble or iron, you can't tell until you had a closer look. You land in the open mouth, as if it was someone's idea of a sick joke to put the taxi landing surface in the mouth.

You see a dozen people here. Most dressed in NeoClassical revival fashion. You wonder why, until you see the big painting of Merrix. Merrix wore a toga in that painting, with a bright red sash. The lower part of his face had a beard and mustache around the mouth. He was painted in a regal pose.

The secretary at the front desk seemed to be more sensibly dressed.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

GM:
Kyndril nods politely to the priest, simply settling in one of the back pews. He nods slowly, accepting the sermon's wisdom, contemplating it, and internalizing it. After a few moments, he leans back, content to wait.

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

GM:
Danir walks up to the desk and presents himself to the secretary.

"Hello, I am Danir, son of Jaasir and Dinara d'Cannith, late of Whitehearth. I have come to present myself to the house leadership. This has been my first opportunity to do so since being released as a Prisoner of War by Breland, after a petition from House Cannith. I have come to thank them and inquire as to my status within the house. If you could please check if they would be willing to see me?"

Male Drow Sorcerer 5

GM:
Xov nodded quickly. After confirming Dev's identity via pass-phrases, he says
"Indeed. It concerns a rather difficult ally I have been made to work with, a Karn. I have been given strict instructions to obtain a way for the Tower of Eyes to keep watch over him...
here
"
Xov pulls out the piece of cloth from Essar's shirt
"This should allow for scrying. Make sure it gets to Lady Gwen in the Tower, soon, please."

After that is dealt with and Xov is alone, he considers his next move:
That should make it easier to find out when the mad cleric betrays us...still, that cloth won't make it back to Fairhold for several days, and even when it does, they likely won't be able to scry on him constantly, so I still need to watch him. Hmm...I could try to get in to the blood temple, it should be easy to lie my way in, but...I'll have a hard time getting to hear anything from Essar. Well, there is still this mysterious business with the people who are spying on Kyndril, claiming to be from the Eyes...
well, I do need to get the half-elf to trust me a bit more, maybe I'll figure this out.

With that matter resolved, Xov will attempt to meet Kyndril at the temple of the flame.

The Abbot says, "I don't see why not." He leads you into his office where he does have the Karrnathi wine -- a bottle of Karnnathi Riesling. He pours some for himself and some for you.

"Well, what do you want to talk about?" he asked.

Xov:
Dev did bow his head, and turned into a female human. She then slinked her way out of the room to change into better garments. She came out in an evening dress to die for (something like Jessica Rabbits, but without the sequins). She then said, "Don't worry, agent Xov, this will be taken care of."

She then rolls up the piece of cloth, puts it into a carrier pigeon's box, and sets it free to fly to Fairhaven. "Is there anything I can do for you, Mr. Xov?" she says, getting on the couch and laying out, oozing charm from every pore.

I visited the local Blood temple at the Crossroads only to find all of it's priests dead and a maurading Dark Flame priest, and undead to boot had descrated the temple. I need to know if you have gotten similiar reports, or if this is an isolated incident. If this is not an isolated incident it means the Silver Flame is on the hunt. And if they were we need to begin a hunt of our own, for if the Flame is allowed to strike at our outposts without consequence they will only grow bolder.

The guy who strips unconsciously takes a job. The guy who spits fire takes a job, you find three jobs fitting your criterion. One is a job below Sharn looking for missing dragonshards, another is a job outside of Sharn -- the people in a nearby village is having troubles with demons (that's S class), and the last is a simple retrieval of a necklace in a forgotten dungeon.

Danir:

This is thinking that Danir is being played as Bi

There are several attractive people of both sexes wandering the tower. you are directed to a dark skinned woman who will say that you will be treated as a hireling for being in a PoW camp for so long. The simple job she has is to have you retrieve a schema in a forgotten dungeon.

Ebran:
The people of House Lyrandar is glad to have you back. Kinda. Sorta. Actually, they are a bit embarrassed that you aren't a half-elf so they act cooly and standoffish. "Oh, Ebran, umm -- its nice to see you back, really," one says. "So, you must be looking for something to do, right? Well, umm, the elders have a couple of duties for you."

Dark Flame cultists operate purely in Thrane although there are a few discovered in Rekkenmark. But so far they've been harmless except for committing petty crime."

Kyndril:
The mass has ended, and people start to go home, filtering out of the doors. The Stained Glass makes the temple shine with diffuse light, but the pictures of the paladin, the quatle, and the flame itself is staggering. Also, the legend of the creation of the flame is recounted in Stained Glass. The demon itself looks like a Balor with blood red color. The priest is putting his books away.

Ebran:
"Well, okay, uhm . . . there is an ancient heirloom below Sharn," said the half-elf. [b]"It is called the Bronze Astrolabe, the first Astrolabe used by our family during the Marking. Retrieve it and maybe there are some thing else we have for you."

I hadn't mentioned it before, but I've been thinking of Xov as hypo-sexual--he only becomes attracted to people who he already knows very well...

As he walked away, Xov thought Hmm, maybe I should have tried to get Dev to help weasel information out of the others...
nah, it wouldn't have worked. Essar probably wouldn't reveal anything to a stranger, regardless of any magical disguises...
Kyndril might, if Dev shapeshifted to look like a Silver Flame priest, but he had information worth sending two members of the Eyes after, it would likely have been done before. Besides, the only thing we need from the half-elf is information about his past, and I will have plenty of time to get that myself. Oh well...
Hmm, I guess I could still try following Kyndril now, although...
maybe there will be something worthwhile at the mage's guild. I can probably find stuff there with fewer questions than the Aundarian embassy. Eh, I should probably try finding the others now.

First whats the pay? As while I will be doing this pro bono, my fellows that came with me to Sharn will need the jingle of gold coin to agree to this sort of job. I myself just need some armor, preferably Emerald Claw standard issue, although Karnath military standard issue will do as well. My companions are capable, excepting the artificer. That one is more likely to brain himself with a mace then the enemy. Their are two others that you need to keep an eye on, the Thranian half elf should not be let into the temple premises unescorted and the Drow Xov that one should not be allowed to enter the temple at all. Also ensuring that they get a good amount of gold might make jobs of a more..."moralistic" nature easier for them to stomach.
