Essar Kalvin |

Now was the time to bury the sword as the old karn saying went...
Essar extended his hand out towards Kyndril, holding his hand in a inward claw shape (think of this as the err Karn handshake) waiting for Kyndril to grasp it.
I believe now is the time to as the old Karn saying goes "bury the sword...in someone else's head". For I can assure you that you are not the only one in this room who has a seething hatred of the undead.

Danir |

Pausing, he continued
"Visiting Sharn may be a good option--there is much to explore there.
"I only suggest Sharn at this time because at some point I will need to make an appearance to thank them for their petition to have me released from prison... and because if I gear up through the House I get an extremely generous discount on all of my non-magical equipment- plus I would have access to their forges and workshops."

Kyndril Mieren |

Kyndril finally speaks up, having fought down the outright rage he had felt with Essar's idiocy. "If you think me so gullible as to believe that you bear me no ill will, then you are more foolish than even I expected. But..." The Khorvar makes a face. "If you prove virtuous over the course of our association, I will be willing to shake hands with you then. Let me warn you, though, that you have not gotten off to a good start."
Returning to the topic at hand, he says. "Sharn is acceptable, but I would like to visit Thrane. My mother may or may not be alive, and I would like to find out whether she survived the War. I would also like to know of the status of Thrane as a whole..." He looks to Danir, Ebran, and, after a moment, Othan, "I know that others may feel the same way, though. I don't mind going to Sharn, but..." He sighs quietly. "I will bow to the will of the unit, if no one else agrees."

Danir |

"I understand your desire to know of your family- realizing there is no hope mine survived is the only thing keeping me sane right now, I think. I am not opposed to Thrane per se, but it is the group's decision."
Danir pulls Kyndril aside for a moment and says quietly to him "If the group does decide to go to Sharn still, I will split the cost with you of using the House Sivis Message stones to Thrane to see if you can get word from your church and about your mother, as we need you fully in the game. So far you and Xov seem the most stable others to me and I'd like to keep you both that way."

Kyndril Mieren |

Kyndril nods gratefully at Danir, smiling. "That would ease my soul, thank you." His voice is quiet, and his gaze becomes focused. Moving to speak with the rest of the group, he says aloud.
"Whatever we do, I agree. We must all be of firmest conviction that it is right. We cannot afford to be... out if it, so to speak. Do we know anything more about what we will be doing, specifically?" He looks to Ressir. "What would our first assignment be?"
Resolved now, to talk with his mother and spiritual advisor about the goings on, he is ready for anything.

Xov |

Xov wrote:I forgot all about it."Then let us be on our way."
is Ressir answering Xov's question about scrying?:)
the question was:
Ressir, I have one final question for you before we leave:
Do you intend to attempt to scry on us, and have you taken any of our hair to aid you in scrying?
.

Essar Kalvin |

I have no i'll will towards you half elf...yet. Who I truly hate amoung your religion are those blasted puritans that murdered my fellows in the last war. Ever seen your own friends burned at the stake for some zealots perverse pleasure? Until the puritans have been excised from the flame no peace can ever come between the Flame and the Blood.
Othan would you accompany me into the next room? I believe I have an offer both of us could profit greatly from.

Danir |

While Essar and Othan are in the other room, Danir turns to the others and asks

If you are asking me to go to Thrane I won't...unless its at the head of a Karnathi army going to raze it. Besides the point most of the fight against the Aurum is going to be centered in Sharn if I am not mistaken. As Sharn is the bloody capital of Breland it only makes sense that a strong Aurum presence will be there.
I will see to motivating the Blood and any remaining members of the Emerald claw to join the fight against the Aurum. As if you intend to hunt them down one by one I assume having another faction applying pressure to them is tactically sound?

"You did not answer the question. We have decided to leave for Sharn shortly, after people have had time to get necessary supplies. We need you, however, to blend in. While Danir is shopping for infusion-components, we ask for you to change you attire. If you refuse, that is probably acceptable. However, you must refrain from discussing your faith in public while we are in Sharn or on the Lightning Rail, for that will only draw unwanted attention to our group. Do you understand?"

Essar Kalvin |

I will not be shopping with you in Sharn itself, I will not be accompanying you to any markets. As I can get good Karnathi military issue weapons and armor from the Blood itself, while I'm in the local temple I'll see about getting contacts and information relating to the Aurum. If you want I can also see about rounding up some jobs from the Blood itself, as the Blood if it as active as when I became a Seeker it will have no shortage of them.
I will keep the robes on and I will refrain from discussing the Blood, however the rules apply in reverse if the area is dominated by Karnathi or followers of the Blood. In that case the half elf must refrain from even speaking, as the Blood has suffered much at the hands of the Flame and many of them will not be able to control themselves around a known Flame worshipper. This also applies to the Karnathi as well, the Silver Flame did not ever take prisoners of war that were Karnathi. Unless it was to burn them at the stake.

"Very well, I shall accompany you, then, for there is nothing I need to purchase here. Remember, we must be back at the lightning rail station within the next few hours."

Kyndril rolls his eyes at the cleric's words. "Yet you claim not to wish me ill? I can now see the truth in this claim, blindingly obvious as it is. Sharn is also not the capital of Breland... Though that may have changed."
He turns and leaves, to purchase a magus' kit, if he could, and maybe a couple of scrolls. As he goes, he takes a few deep breaths, then bursts out laughing. It was hard to do anything else, for the "Seeker" could hardly be taken seriously.

Ebran Asur |

Ebran makes his way out of the home after politely bidding farewell to Risser and apologizing for the zeal of his companions.
He will then wander about the town for a few hours, looking at shops. Planning on buying a pack, stuff for a kit, some snacks for the road, maybe some clothes. Definitely a scroll case to protect his documents from the elements. He will make polite conversation with any PCs he may come across, except the blood priest, who he will avoid.

Follow me and do not ask to accompany me into the temple itself, as the Blood is for the most part secretive.
They made their way to the local temple, a small but well kept affair and Essar gently knocked on the wooden door.
There is no answer.
