Now was the time to bury the sword as the old karn saying went...

Essar extended his hand out towards Kyndril, holding his hand in a inward claw shape (think of this as the err Karn handshake) waiting for Kyndril to grasp it.

I believe now is the time to as the old Karn saying goes "bury the sword...in someone else's head". For I can assure you that you are not the only one in this room who has a seething hatred of the undead.

"I only suggest Sharn at this time because at some point I will need to make an appearance to thank them for their petition to have me released from prison... and because if I gear up through the House I get an extremely generous discount on all of my non-magical equipment- plus I would have access to their forges and workshops."

male human lvl 2 (varient multi-class rogue)

sounds good to me, shall we depart at dawn tomorrow?

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Kyndril finally speaks up, having fought down the outright rage he had felt with Essar's idiocy. "If you think me so gullible as to believe that you bear me no ill will, then you are more foolish than even I expected. But..." The Khorvar makes a face. "If you prove virtuous over the course of our association, I will be willing to shake hands with you then. Let me warn you, though, that you have not gotten off to a good start."

Returning to the topic at hand, he says. "Sharn is acceptable, but I would like to visit Thrane. My mother may or may not be alive, and I would like to find out whether she survived the War. I would also like to know of the status of Thrane as a whole..." He looks to Danir, Ebran, and, after a moment, Othan, "I know that others may feel the same way, though. I don't mind going to Sharn, but..." He sighs quietly. "I will bow to the will of the unit, if no one else agrees."

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

"I understand your desire to know of your family- realizing there is no hope mine survived is the only thing keeping me sane right now, I think. I am not opposed to Thrane per se, but it is the group's decision."

Danir pulls Kyndril aside for a moment and says quietly to him "If the group does decide to go to Sharn still, I will split the cost with you of using the House Sivis Message stones to Thrane to see if you can get word from your church and about your mother, as we need you fully in the game. So far you and Xov seem the most stable others to me and I'd like to keep you both that way."

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Kyndril nods gratefully at Danir, smiling. "That would ease my soul, thank you." His voice is quiet, and his gaze becomes focused. Moving to speak with the rest of the group, he says aloud.

"Whatever we do, I agree. We must all be of firmest conviction that it is right. We cannot afford to be... out if it, so to speak. Do we know anything more about what we will be doing, specifically?" He looks to Ressir. "What would our first assignment be?"

Resolved now, to talk with his mother and spiritual advisor about the goings on, he is ready for anything.

I forgot all about it.

the question was:

Quote:

Ressir, I have one final question for you before we leave:

Do you intend to attempt to scry on us, and have you taken any of our hair to aid you in scrying?

.

Silver Crusade

his answer is no.

"Well then, back to the station to plan our next move?" Danir asks, also wishing he had paid more attention in Hatheril and grabbed an Infusion component pouch. He believed he should be able to remedy that at the Magic Guild he had seen in Crossroads.

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

I have no i'll will towards you half elf...yet. Who I truly hate amoung your religion are those blasted puritans that murdered my fellows in the last war. Ever seen your own friends burned at the stake for some zealots perverse pleasure? Until the puritans have been excised from the flame no peace can ever come between the Flame and the Blood.

Othan would you accompany me into the next room? I believe I have an offer both of us could profit greatly from.

Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

"I'm not unstable, Danir. Haha, yes, I will go to whatever city the group decides. I've been to Sharn before on occasion, but I wouldn't mind going back. Didn't see much more than the docks last time."

male human lvl 2 (varient multi-class rogue)

Othan goes into the next room with Essar but is still on guard, the man seemed fanatical, and fanatics were dangerous. Othan is ready to manifest his mind blade if the fanatic goes on another rant.

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

Othan:
Have you ever considered participating in gladitorial combat?

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

While Essar and Othan are in the other room, Danir turns to the others and asks

Others:
"How do we travel with the priest without having him draw attention to us everywhere as he has clearly proven unable to show either discretion or tact- walking around in bllod red robes and a bleeding unholy symbol? Can any of you think of a way to either make this work or at least make it seem reasonable for us to be with him?"

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Others:
Kyndril frowns. "Other than in Karrnath, if we are forced to go there..." He considers, trying to figure out the best way to disguise the foolish Blood of Vol cleric. "We could try to persuade him to hide it away, of course. Or we could claim he's our prisoner, and we're taking him to the authorities in one of the countries we're not in, but that is on our way. I don't think it'll be as much a problem in Sharn, though. Since I suppose that's the sort of things adventurers do."

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

Others:
"That had been the two options I had considered but was wondering if there was any other ideas we could try- I can't see Essar complying with either method. Perhaps Othan will knock him out and make it that much easier for us to shackle him and take him to Sharn... Onatar, give me stength!"

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Others:
"And Silver Flame help us all..." He looks to Ebran. "You have any ideas?"

Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

everyone else:
"Can any of you mages cast an illusion on him so that he looks like someone else? Failing that, just tell him you'll meet up with him somewhere and then be somewhere else."

male human lvl 2 (varient multi-class rogue)

essar:
possibly, but this does not seem relevant right now.

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

Othan:

It is because considering the Aurum's nature a few of them might have a taste for bloodsports. We could get a sponsorship from an Aurum member and not only get a lot of gold but also an inside source of information.

Male Drow Sorcerer 5

others:
"Perhaps he will learn discretion with time. For now, would should decide whether to purchase supplies now before heading to Sharn, or whether to wait and get everything there. I am indifferent in the matter, though I have little else to do here."

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

Others:
"Well, I intend to get an infusion component pouch and possibly some simple supplies here before we go but would rather gear up through the House in Sharn so that I can save a good deal of money, as I have additional personal expenses I will need to start saving towards."

Male Drow Sorcerer 5

others:
"Okay then, shall we meet at the lightning-rail station in a few hours?"

Essar:
"Why don't we just stick with killing them all, like the rest of us planned", Othan is clearly getting fed up with this constant attempts at manipulation.

Male Half-Elf Sorcerer 3/Cleric 2

Others:
"Certainly."

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

Othan:
Just because we plan to kill them all doesn't mean we can't take all their gold first. As think about it, why just kill them and not bother to get their gold? I assume you want profit and besides the point consider this. Would you rather have to crash through an entire mansion of guards and magical wards to get at an Aurum member? Or would you prefer to be able to get to that Aurum member with no guards or wards involved? As I know that I don't want to die from a well placed exploding rune on a mansion door. If you do be my guest, i'll even send you a greeting card in dolurth.

He sighed,
"Or maybe I should keep an eye on mouth-happy over there, at least until we get to Sharn."

male human lvl 2 (varient multi-class rogue)

Essar:
"While I agree with the idea in principle, we will cross that bridge when we come to it."

Othan returns to the main room, "So what did I miss while talking with Mr Sunshine and happyness?"

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

I assume all of you want to go to Sharn? Or has a change of plans come about?

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

"Sharn it is, but first we must discuss something... we need you to blend in- we ask you to change your attire, at least while we are on the lightning rail and out and about in Sharn, or you will draw far too much attention to us. What say you Essar?"

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

If you are asking me to go to Thrane I won't...unless its at the head of a Karnathi army going to raze it. Besides the point most of the fight against the Aurum is going to be centered in Sharn if I am not mistaken. As Sharn is the bloody capital of Breland it only makes sense that a strong Aurum presence will be there.

I will see to motivating the Blood and any remaining members of the Emerald claw to join the fight against the Aurum. As if you intend to hunt them down one by one I assume having another faction applying pressure to them is tactically sound?

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

"What are you talking about?"

At this point, Danir just leaves the house- he had already made plans with the others to meet up at the station in a few hours and would not spend any further time talking with the obviously mentally addled cultist.

"You did not answer the question. We have decided to leave for Sharn shortly, after people have had time to get necessary supplies. We need you, however, to blend in. While Danir is shopping for infusion-components, we ask for you to change you attire. If you refuse, that is probably acceptable. However, you must refrain from discussing your faith in public while we are in Sharn or on the Lightning Rail, for that will only draw unwanted attention to our group. Do you understand?"

male human lvl 2 (varient multi-class rogue)

Othan goes looking for all the stuff in a fighters kit and a set of chainmail. He will then head to a station

Human Artificer 4 HP:21/27 AC:17/16 f-f/11 tch

Danir walks back to the center of Crossroads and decides to start at the Magic Guild for components. He enters the guild and looks around to see if they sold magical supplies.

hp 8,ac 13/10/13, fort 2+, reflex 0+, will+6, Initiative 2+, Perc 4+

I will not be shopping with you in Sharn itself, I will not be accompanying you to any markets. As I can get good Karnathi military issue weapons and armor from the Blood itself, while I'm in the local temple I'll see about getting contacts and information relating to the Aurum. If you want I can also see about rounding up some jobs from the Blood itself, as the Blood if it as active as when I became a Seeker it will have no shortage of them.

I will keep the robes on and I will refrain from discussing the Blood, however the rules apply in reverse if the area is dominated by Karnathi or followers of the Blood. In that case the half elf must refrain from even speaking, as the Blood has suffered much at the hands of the Flame and many of them will not be able to control themselves around a known Flame worshipper. This also applies to the Karnathi as well, the Silver Flame did not ever take prisoners of war that were Karnathi. Unless it was to burn them at the stake.

Kyndril rolls his eyes at the cleric's words. "Yet you claim not to wish me ill? I can now see the truth in this claim, blindingly obvious as it is. Sharn is also not the capital of Breland... Though that may have changed."

He turns and leaves, to purchase a magus' kit, if he could, and maybe a couple of scrolls. As he goes, he takes a few deep breaths, then bursts out laughing. It was hard to do anything else, for the "Seeker" could hardly be taken seriously.

Follow me and do not ask to accompany me into the temple itself, as the Blood is for the most part secretive.

They made their way to the local temple, a small but well kept affair and Essar gently knocked on the wooden door.

Human Marksman (Shroud/Sniper) 5

Ebran makes his way out of the home after politely bidding farewell to Risser and apologizing for the zeal of his companions.

He will then wander about the town for a few hours, looking at shops. Planning on buying a pack, stuff for a kit, some snacks for the road, maybe some clothes. Definitely a scroll case to protect his documents from the elements. He will make polite conversation with any PCs he may come across, except the blood priest, who he will avoid.
